Bachelor Pad Promo: Jake Pavelka vs. Vienna Girardi, Round 12!

When ABC’s Bachelor Pad returns August 8, Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi will meet again in the mansion as they battle for … everything. With $250,000 on the line – and Girardi’s current beau, Bachelorette reject Kasey Kahl, in the mix – the stakes are high and the insults bitter. “I hope she falls 3,000 feet to her death,” Jake says in the promo below. Bachelor Pad 2 Promo: Jake vs. Vienna It’s no surprise that the exes’ icy interactions highlight the summer spin-off series, which airs a week after The Bachelorette season finale. “She’s trying to hurt me so she can get the money,” a fired up Jake says in reference to the show’s grand prize. “It will not happen!” Vienna Girardi is equally as vengeful. “I hate him!” she snipes. Jake somehow chose Vienna on The Bachelor the season before last, only to break up with and despise her approximately 17 hours later. They went on to air their dirty laundry publicly in an epic interview on The Bachelorette season starring Ali Fedotowsky last summer. Host Chris Harrison recently weighed in on Jake Pavelka : “Jake is someone who … it’s hard to explain,” he said. “He’s a good guy, he means well, but he’s a little bit – and they all are to an extent – a little bit delusional about their fame and their scope and how long this is going to last. “I try to tell all these people, take advantage of all this, use this to enhance your life, whatever that is. But you know, for Jake … he really got caught up in it … he really, really got caught up in it.” “And he’s someone who came on to try to turn the tide and change everybody’s opinion of him. And he really has a hard time with that.” When Chris Harrison is full-on calling you a fame whore – in the same breath in which he admits people come on the show for publicity, and that he encourages it no less – you know things have reached ridiculous proportions.

Chris Harrison Teases, Hopes For Bachelor Pad 2

Bachelor Pad was a sleeper hit this summer. Sure, it has none of the Bachelor spoilers , scandals or love triangles that make its parent shows so compelling. But the competition was definitely fun. As such, host-pimp Chris Harrison wants to run it back with some changes, and thinks there’s a good chance ABC will give producers that opportunity. A dramatic scene from the first season of Bachelor Pad . “It’s not official, but I’m hearing good things from everybody at ABC and the creators of the show,” says Harrison. “Everybody wants to do it again.” “Nobody has officially signed on the dotted line, but I feel really good that it’s going to happen again. ABC really liked what it did for them.” “It helped fill that summer void. It was a reunion show without being a reunion show. We were able to turn our reunion show into a game show.” The first Bachelor Pad , won by David Good and Natalie Getz , could set the stage for a bigger and better version come next summer, as well. “With a little more time, a little more money and energy, it would be a much better show. I think we all want a second shot,” Chris said. We can only hope he gets it.

Kevin McHale will have a dream sequence set to “Stronger.” Heather Morris will reenact “Me Against the Music.” Matthew Morrison will be forced to sing and dance to “Toxic.” The New York Times slideshow from behind the scenes of Glee’s highly anticipated Britney Spears episode has all of these revelations and other intriguing sneak peeks, but for me, none resonate more than a snapshot of Jane Lynch’s tracksuit-stuffed wardrobe rack. Taste the rainbow!

Bachelor Pad Cast Boots Crazy Michelle; Lunatic Blames Tenley Molzahn

Remember Michelle, the borderline unstable girl who vied for Jake Pavelka’s heart on The Bachelor? No? Well, her stint on Bachelor Pad was even shorter. Early in last night’s season premiere, Michelle clashed with Tenley Molzahn , the runner-up that same season, along with other female residents of the Pad . According to Crazy Michelle, Tenley started a rumor that she slept with Craig “Dangerous” McKinnon the first night in their palatial digs. Bunk bed style. Drama ensued when Michelle locked Tenley in a bathroom and confronted her about this. Tenley understandably felt threatened and broke down crying. On Bachelor Pad , the male castoffs from The Bachelorette vote to evict a girl, and the female rejects from The Bachelor vote to evict a guy each week. Predictably, the men were more or less unified in their decision to vote off the girl most likely to fashion a crude shank and stab someone in the house. “I am still shaken, but I feel relieved now that Michelle is gone,” said Tenley Molzahn in the wake of her two-time rival’s departure. Michelle blamed her exclusively. “I don’t deserve to be treated this way at all,” insane Michelle lamented. “It’s upsetting because Tenley started a rumor that I did something with Craig and that made me upset. Because of that rumor, it ruined my chances [on the show].” The guy sent home was Juan Barbieri, whose fate was sealed before the show even started because of his hookup with another contestant, Nikki, in the past. It didn’t end well between them. “It will be less stressful now that Juan is gone,” Nikki said, having apparently rallied enough of her fellow female contestants’ votes to vote Juan the hell out. Juan, who was in a similar boat as Jesse Kovacs, who’s hooked up with Elizabeth Kitt, said he was “shocked and disappointed” that he was ousted so fast. Ten girls and seven guys remain in the hunt for a $250,000 prize and another 14 minutes of D-list celebrity status. Join us next week on Bachelor Pad!
