The comedian got hitched on February 13, 2018 to celebrity chef Chris Fischer, surprising fans by exchanging vows in Malibu on a Tuesday evening. Approximately 80 guests were in attendance, including a few familiar faces featured here. Philadelphia to Install Condom Dispensers in High School

Call us crazy, but we think a new Philadelphia high school program may create a bit of controversy. According to ABC News, the city – in response to a new report that cites five percent of its high schoolers have tested positive for STDs – is installing condom dispensers in the 22 schools with the highest rates of these diseases. “We believe distributing condoms is part of our obligation to keep students healthy and to remain healthy,” said school district spokesman Fernando Gallard. “The health department has described this as a continued epidemic of STDs among teenagers in Philadelphia.” Approximately 130,000 high school students in the Philadelphia area have been tested over the past five years, with 6,500 of those coming out positives for STDs that include HIV. As a result, when students return from Christmas break, they will be greeted by machines in the nurse’s office that provide free protection. The condoms will be available to all, unless parents sign an “opt out” form. HOWEVER, the schools do not plan on actually enforcing these forms. “Opt-out letters are to be maintained by the school office,” Assistant Superintendent Dennis W. Creedon wrote. “Students are to honor the wishes of their parents. If a student disrespects their guardian’s directive, that is an issue of the home.” Overall, according to nonprofit organization Advocates for Youth, at least 418 schools across the country supply condoms to their students. When ABC’s Bachelor Pad returns August 8, Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi will meet again in the mansion as they battle for … everything. With $250,000 on the line – and Girardi’s current beau, Bachelorette reject Kasey Kahl, in the mix – the stakes are high and the insults bitter. “I hope she falls 3,000 feet to her death,” Jake says in the promo below. Bachelor Pad 2 Promo: Jake vs. Vienna It’s no surprise that the exes’ icy interactions highlight the summer spin-off series, which airs a week after The Bachelorette season finale. “She’s trying to hurt me so she can get the money,” a fired up Jake says in reference to the show’s grand prize. “It will not happen!” Vienna Girardi is equally as vengeful. “I hate him!” she snipes. Jake somehow chose Vienna on The Bachelor the season before last, only to break up with and despise her approximately 17 hours later. They went on to air their dirty laundry publicly in an epic interview on The Bachelorette season starring Ali Fedotowsky last summer. Host Chris Harrison recently weighed in on Jake Pavelka : “Jake is someone who … it’s hard to explain,” he said. “He’s a good guy, he means well, but he’s a little bit – and they all are to an extent – a little bit delusional about their fame and their scope and how long this is going to last. “I try to tell all these people, take advantage of all this, use this to enhance your life, whatever that is. But you know, for Jake … he really got caught up in it … he really, really got caught up in it.” “And he’s someone who came on to try to turn the tide and change everybody’s opinion of him. And he really has a hard time with that.” When Chris Harrison is full-on calling you a fame whore – in the same breath in which he admits people come on the show for publicity, and that he encourages it no less – you know things have reached ridiculous proportions.

Activists Clash with Israeli Troops: Raw Video

At least one person was arrested on Tuesday (April 27) after scuffles broke out between anti-barrier activists and Israeli border police at the construction site of the controversial West Bank barrier. Approximately a dozen activists disrupted construction of the barrier, blocking a bulldozer near the village of al-Walaja in the West Bank. One activist fought with police as they tried to arrest him. He was eventually handcuffed and led away by the security forces. Anti barrier demonstrators linked arms and sat in front of the path of the bulldozer, temporally halting construction activities. Israeli border police eventually broke up the protest, carrying foreign activists away from the construction site. Israel began building its barrier of fences and walls at the height of the Palestinian uprising that began in 2000. The wall now runs along most of the West Bank border, encroaching at many points into Palestinian territory. Israeli leaders say the barrier is a temporary obstacle, and could be removed once a peace agreement with the Palestinians is signed and attacks on Israel cease. The International Court of Justice say the barrier is illegal and should be taken down because it crosses occupied territory. added by: ctv

Christina Fulton Trashes, Sues Nicolas Cage

Christina Fulton, mother of Nicolas Cage’s eldest child Weston, has sued the actor for fraud and breach of contract, escalating his financial and legal nightmare. The mother of Cage’s 18-year-old son alleges she’s been caught in the web of his financial mismanagement and is now more than $1.2 million in debt herself. Cage stated in an October lawsuit he’s facing financial ruin .

U.S. seeks 10,000 troops from allies for Afghan war

WASHINGTON — The United States is scrambling to coax NATO allies to send 10,000 additional troops to Afghanistan as part of President Obama’s strategy for the region. NATO members and other foreign allies have expressed reluctance to send more soldiers because of the Afghan war’s growing unpopularity in their countries and increasing concerns over corruption in President Hamid Karzai’s government. The Obama administration views a substantial contribution from its allies as a way to keep the American troop increase lower and blunt domestic political criticism of the Afghan war
