Queen Latifah On Why She Likes Challenging Roles & Rebooting ‘Living Singles’ [EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW]

Queen Latifah began her career as a rapper and overtime went into acting, modeling and being the face of Cover Girl’s Queen Collection. She is one of the main characters in the hit show “ STAR ,” and Headkrack had an opportunity to sit down with her and talk about not only the new season of the show, but possibly rebooting ‘Living Singles.’ Sign Up For Our Newsletter! Email Submit She mentioned that the new season will pick up right where it left off with guns drawn and her as the President of the record label. This season there are a lot of problems to figure out and she takes on a motherly role as we find out Star is pregnant. She’s the most ambitious character, but Latifah helps her figure out a lot of things as the show continues. Headkrack also played a game with her about de-booting or rebooting shows or music classics. She doesn’t want to hear anyone try and do another version of “I Wanna Be Down.” Latifah would like to see a reboot of “ Living Single ” especially with the original cast, Headkrack also mentioned he would love that because the show is such a classic. Latifah doesn’t want anyone to touch “Set It Off,” but was okay with the play especially since Da Brat was in it. Michael B. Jordan Is The New Face Of Coach Menswear

Paras Griffin/Getty Images for Essence Michael B. Jordan Is Now The Face Of Coach Menswear Talk about having a good year. Following the company’s success during Coach’s partnership with actress and singer Selena Gomez, the brand has just announced that  Michael B. Jordan  will be the new face of menswear. The Black Panther , Creed , and Fahrenheit 451  actor will not only represent the brand, but is also designing his very own capsule collection in the future. He is set to meet with creative director Stuart Vevers next month to begin brainstorming ideas for his own designs. Before designing some pieces of his own, though, Jordan is now appearing in advertising campaigns for the brand’s men’s ready-to-wear, accessories, and fragrances–beginning with the new spring 2019 season. “I liked what Stuart was doing so we decided to move forward with me being the face of the brand,” the 31-year-old told  WWD . When he was asked about his personal style, Michael said that he feels just as comfortable in a “very pristine” suit as he does in streetwear, but in the end, he spends more time thinking about the roles that he plays. “As an actor, I’m always putting on somebody else’s shoes and becoming someone else,” he explained. To go along with that, Jordan said that he keeps his stylist busy since he’s constantly gaining muscle mass and then slimming down thanks to roles like Creed . As for what we can expect from Jordan’s own designs, he’s not letting anything slip. When the actor was asked to name an athlete or fellow celebrity whose looks inspire him he responded, “There are a lot of people whose style I like, but I wouldn’t want to dress like them.” So it looks like we’ll just have to wait and see what his capsule collection entails once it hits stores. I just know that he name has come up for what must be a decade, where she was one of those jailbait for Disney kind of girls who middle aged men jerked off to because their kids made them watch the low level show… I do know that they are no longer jailbait, but rather middle aged, mom looking girls, with rocking bodies, and plastic surgery that makes them up on some Real Housewife shit…and none of that bothers me, because she’s half naked in a bikini…and really I look at nobodies in bikinis all day, whether they were somebodies who never were anybody or not is irrelevant thanks to TITS.
