You guys just keep doing you This sums up the general sentiment fans of the power couple have had ever since learning about Beyonce’s alleged baby names : Sir Carter and Rumi Carter. Yes, for real. Or at least it seems that way, based on a number of trademarks the artists filed last week to make sure no one else could profit off the use of those names in nearly any way. Beyonce and Jay Z are already parents to a girl named Blue Ivy, whose name at the time of her birth took most fans by confused surprised. But Sir and Rumi?!? How did the superstars even come up with those? Sir , the reported name given to the newborn boy, is of English origin. It’s typically reserved to important people who have received the honor of being knighted in Great Britain, such as Sir Paul McCartney and Sir Anthony Hopkins. It almost sounds like someone’s chosen rapper nickname, right? Sir Carter . You can see a musician performing under that moniker, can’t you? It certainly highlights Jay Z’s given last name and perhaps speaks to the career he hopes his won takes up in a couple decades. No pressure on you, Sir. One of the most successful rappers of all-time simply wants you to follow in his awe-inspiring footsteps. What about Rumi ? Some folks out there are drawing comparisons to the 13th-century Persian poet of the same name, whose work has influenced the arts for many generations. His first name was Jalāl ad-Dīn Muhammad Rumi and he’s a best-selling writer in the United States. (Actress Josie Maran, it’s perhaps worth noting, welcomed a daughter named Rumi in 2006.) Moreover, the name is also used in Japan, where it means “beauty,” “current, “flow” and “water.” Interesting, right? Neither Beyonce nor Jay Z has commented on these supposed names. Heck, they haven’t commented at all when it comes to their kids. As far as we’ve heard, Beyonce gave birth prematurely, which resulted in a minor medical issue that kept the kids in the hospital for several days. But they’re resting comfortably at a very large rented home in Malibu now, according to various insiders, where Beyonce and Jay Z are very tired and very happy. And while the birth of these twins had been all the Internet wanted to talk about for many weeks, Jay Z came out a couple days ago and changed the conversation a bit. Baby Abducted At Birth Found Safely 18 Years Later Thanks to DNA analysis, a baby stolen from a hospital just hours after she was born 18 years ago was finally reunited Friday with her birth family. The woman she thought was her mother is being charged with her kidnapping. Police arrested Gloria Williams, 51, in Walterboro, South Carolina, where Mobley was raised in a small house, about 200 miles from the hospital where she was born. She will be extradited to Florida on charges of kidnapping and interference with custody, authorities said. Mobley was only eight hours old when she was taken from her young mother by a woman posing as a nurse at University Medical Center. A massive search ensued, with helicopters circling the hospital and the city on high alert, and thousands of tips came in over the years, but she had disappeared. The teen, Kamiyah Mobley, is in good health, but understandably overwhelmed, Jacksonville Sheriff Mike Williams said at a news conference.
We’re starting to think that Miley Cyrus really does have a thing for Liam Hemsworth. We know, we know: The singer and the actor have actually been together forever. They got engaged, they called off their wedding in 2013, but they reunited over a year ago and have been a happy couple ever since. But they’ve also been a pretty quiet couple, keeping their feelings mostly to themselves over the course of their very long-term romance. Until recently, that is. In late October, Miley appeared as a guest on Ellen, acknowledging that she’s engaged and even talking about the diamond Hemsworth had gotten for her. Fast forward a couple months and Cyrus and Hemsworth didn’t merely spend Christmas together. They wore ugly holiday sweaters togethe r! He turns 27 years old today. And Miley has once again gone public with her affection in a sweet birthday tribute to The Hunger Games star, sharing the first photo posted above on her Instagram account. “Happiest birthday EVER to my favorite being EVER EVER EVER!” she wrote with enthusiasm as a caption, adding for emphasis: “You have been my best friend since the day we met….. I am beyond lucky to share sooooo animals with you!!! I love you @liamhemsworth.” What? We’re not crying. YOU’RE the ones who are crying! Miley and Liam met way back in 2010 on the set of The Last Song; they got engaged two years later. As previously mentioned, they broke up for a period in 2013, but reconciled in 2015 and have been together ever since. Instead of flaunting their romance in everyone’s face, however, they just hang out at home (in silly outfits on occasion) and enjoy each other’s company. They did, however, visit a children’s hospital over the holidays, capturing the sweet gesture with a couple of photos Cyrus released online. To wit: Back in May, Hemsworth opened up about the stars giving their relationship a second change during an interview with GQ Australia. “Of course it was hard, man,” he said of that initial split. “But we were both going in different directions and it’s just what needed to happen. We were both super young and it was a good decision at the time – we both needed that. “I guess when I feel something, then I just feel it and I go for it. I make my decisions about what’s going to make me happy, what I think is right and what I want to do – and I don’t worry too much outside of that.” And now here they are, proof that two people can grow together, grow apart and then come back together.
