Source: Edwin Remsberg / Getty Canadian Man To Be Charge For Illegally Carrying Leeches Into Toronto A man who attempted to bring around 5,000 live leeches into Canada will appear before a court in Toronto next month. according to Daily Mail, he’s facing some serious charges. No personal details have been released about the man, but he was found with the live contraband at Toronto Pearson International Airport on October 17 last year. A police dog helped alert authorities that something was amiss when the Canadian man came through the airport following a trip to Russia , as first reported by National Geographic . The leeches were discovered in hundreds of containers stored in the man’s luggage. the unnamed man is due to appear in court in Toronto on February 15 charged with illegally importing an internationally regulated species without required permits. He won’t be charged with smuggling as there is no evidence he was deliberately hiding the leeches. When questioned, the man said he was transporting them for personal use and ‘that their wastewater would enrich his orchids.’ However, investigators are convinced he might have been trying to sell the foreign crawlers. They can sell for around $10 each. The things people do for money. Yuck!

As previously reported Juelz Santana and Kimbella made things official Thursday in an elaborate wedding ceremony that was attended by family and friends. As TMZ reported, after Diddy posted an intimate shot of Cassie on his IG story Friday & Saturday night, Cassie took to Instagram to post a photo of her own. Unfortunately for Diddy it was of her locking lips with a new boo. Cassie appears to have moved on with a younger man. It’s Uuclear if this was in direct response to that, but Cassie seems to be sending a message of her own. The mystery bae has been identified as fitness and health guru Alex Fine. Fans were optimistic that the longtime lovers would link back up after Cassie was seen with Diddy shortly after Kim Porter died last month. But it now looks like that reunion was just moral support though, as the two haven’t been seen together since and haven’t given any indication that they’d rekindle their 10-year romance.

According to Page Six , in an email sent to NBC staffers, the network announced Gifford will stay through the morning show’s next anniversary, April 7, 2019. “In 2008, I joined the ‘Today Show’ family intending to spend one year. Jenelle Evans may not be a favorite among Teen Mom 2 fans, but when compared to the folks she came of age with in North Carolina, the mother of three is a freakin’ Nobel Prize winner. Longtime viewers might remember the names Courtland Rogers, Josh Miller, Victoria “Tori” Rhyne, all of whom are former associates of Jenelle’s and all of whom, as Starcasm points out , were locked up in Brunswick County Jail this weekend. For those who forgot or never knew about Jenelle’s loosely organized goon squad, here’s a brief refresher course, along with a full explanation of what landed them all behind bars: The first to fight the law and lose was Jenelle’s ex-husband, Courtland. Rogers recently served three years for various drug-related charges, but was released in March of 2017. At first, he seemed committed to getting his life back on track. Rogers married his longtime girlfriend and fathered a child — but he quickly gave in to the violent tendencies that caused him so much trouble in the past. In August, Courtland was arrested for assaulting his wife , and he’s been back in the clink ever since. Next up is Jenelle’s former flame Josh Miller. Josh is one of the biggest f-ck-ups Jenelle ever dated, which is really saying something. As you may recall, Miller was arrested in 2016 for stealing a car with a 3-year-old girl in the back, leaving the girl in the middle of the street, and fleeing the scene. Somehow, he only served two years for that crime, but he was arrested again last Tuesday, and is currently doing time on resisting arrest, probation violation, and multiple counts of financial card (aka credit card) fraud. Like we said, the guy is a real keeper. Rounding out the list of Jenelle’s incarcerated homies is Tori Rhyne. Rhyne was arrested for a DWI earlier this year, and the judge allowed her to serve her time in a series of short sentences so as not to cost her her job. By this point, being booked and released has become routine for Rhyne, but it seems her latest stint concluded in particularly harsh fashion: “So I go to jail to do my weekends for the DWI I got last year and I have a set date and time I go in and get out … So why is it that the one person I count on the most doesn’t even show up to pick me up or better yet even answer their phone when I call,” Tori wrote on Facebook. “That sh-t hurts my feelings more than anything,” she continued. “If you knew you weren’t going to be here to get me, you could at least set something else up for me. Knowing I can’t do it myself. I’ll make sure to have someone reliable to come get me next time. Thanks for nothing.” Yikes. Leaving someone to stand outside the jailhouse on Sunday night when all they want to do is get home in time to catch Shameless before bed is pretty damn low.
