It’s her money riiiiight? $188 Million Lottery Winner Blasted For Posting Fiance’s Bail The 26-year-old mother of four who won $188 million in the lottery and was praised for seemingly planning to use it on her child with cerebral palsy, is now getting blasted. Marie Holmes is currently the subject of criticism for bailing her fiance, an accused drug dealer allegedly caught with 8,000 bags of heroin, out of jail not once—but TWICE. Via WWavy TV 3: The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed WWAY’s earlier FIRST ON 3 report that a man in jail under $6 million bond has been released from the Brunswick County Jail. Lamarr McDow has been in jail since deputies arrested him July 23 for allegedly violating the curfew requirements of his pre-trial release. Deputies arested McDow at the Shallotte home he shares with Marie Holmes. Prosecutors say Holmes, who won a $188 million Powerball jackpot in February, was behind McDow’s release on $3 million bond in March just weeks after she won the jackpot. A Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman says a bondsman posted today’s bond for McDow, who was released with a GPS monitoring device. Bondsmen do not have to reveal who paid them to post bond, but Holmes apparently responded to criticism from readers on our Facebook page. “What Y’all need to be worried about is Y’all money and not how I spend mine this is benefitting Y’all how? And no he’s no drug dealer or user but who are Y’all to judge anybody? I will definitely pray for Y’all because it’s much need…they talked about Jesus so I’m not surprised Y’all are talking about me but be blessed though,” read a comment from Holmes’s Facebook account on a post about McDow’s release. McDow, who goes by the street name “Hot Sauce” was one of three suspects arrested in November 2014 as part of a year-long investigation. He was charged with crimes including trafficking heroin and possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver heroin. The investigation stemmed from an incident in July in the Shallotte area when more than 8,000 bags of heroin was seized. McDow’s criminal history includes convictions for assault on a female, assault and several counts of drug possession dating back to 2000. Holmes, 26, walked away with nearly $88 million after taking the lump sum and paying taxes on her mid-February Powerball win. She and several other people were charged with drug possession after a search of the home after deputies smelled marijuana when they came to get McDow. Investigators also charged him for possession of a firearm by a felon after finding a gun in the house during their search. Not that we’re counting anyone’s coins buuuuuuuuut $9 million on bail seems wasteful. What do YOU think??? Fair or foul???

Did they REALLY have to kill him?? Cops Kill Mentally Ill Teenager We can only imagine how the parents feel knowing they called the police for help only for them to kill their son. According to CNN: Seventy seconds: That’s how long a North Carolina family says it took for things to go horribly wrong as they sought police help dealing with their mentally ill son. Keith Vidal, 18, died Sunday. According to CNN affiliate WECT, he was just shot 1 minute and 10 seconds after a third law enforcement officer showed up at his Brunswick County home. “There was no reason to shoot this kid,” the teen’s stepfather, Mark Wilsey, told WECT on Monday. “They killed my son in cold blood. We called for help, and they killed my son.” “I think that we can certainly understand why this family is upset right now,” the Wilmington Star-News newspaper quoted District Attorney Jon David as saying. “They just lost a child, and certainly my thoughts and prayers are with them. But what they want from this office today is justice, and I intend to give them exactly that.” The incident happened Sunday afternoon when the mother and stepfather of the Boiling Spring Lakes man called police. According to stepbrother Mark Ryan Wilsey, Vidal had schizophrenia and “was having an episode,” and his parents wanted police to subdue him so he could get help. “Everything was going good,” Mark Wilsey said, according to WWAY. “Then this fat cop from Southport walks in the room, walks around the corner, says, ‘We don’t have time for this. Tase that kid now. Let’s get him out of here.’ “ The stepfather said Vidal tried to run but was struck with two Taser charges and fell backward. He said the first two officers to respond got on top of Vidal. WECT attributed a slightly different accounting of events to Mark Wilsey. In that retelling, the stepfather said officers had pinned Vidal to the ground after he had been tased and one of the officers said, “We don’t have time for this” and shot his stepson. Seventy seconds after the third officer arrived, WECT reported, citing police records, police radioed that they had had to shoot the teenager in self-defense. SMH. Facebook
Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans was arrested in North Carolina for making “harassing phone calls” and “communicating threats” to former roommate Hannah Inman. The 20-year-old was booked into the Brunswick County Jail and later released after posting $1,000 bond. She later tweeted, “I’m free as a biiirrrrddddd :D.” Yay. The arrest could mean serious trouble for Jenelle Evans , who’s still on probation for pounding the crap out of Britany Truett in a fight last summer. Her attorney, Dustin Sullivan, said “Jenelle was charged with those charges today after she had taken charges out on James Duffy several days ago.” “I feel these charges against Jenelle are absurd and retaliatory in nature.” Good to know. Just don’t compare her to another Teen Mom train wreck. A “fan” tweeted, “Jenelle makes Amber Portwood look like mother of the year.” To which Jenelle intelligently responded back, “what?!!! LMFAO Amber Portwood is in jail for FELONY charges dumbass, oh I guess she’s better…s–t.” She’s not wrong. And speaking of social media, the reality star was kind enough to give her side of the story , via Facebook, after the got out. Here goes: “Yes I was arrested again. It’s okay, Hannah’s just calling her own bluffs. How can I harass u with phone calls when u clearly don’t own a cell phone?” “I’ve dropped this argument weeks ago. Haven’t been paying attention to u but u have the balls to tell yr little “fans”.. ‘imma f—king kill that bitch’ ?!” “How’s threatening who here ?! Lmao she’s mad cuz I took out charges first on Duffy for cyber stalking. She claims that she move out becuz I said I would eventually kill her.” “Clearly her old phone has texts that states ‘look I’m moving out to yr house Duffy so we can move to new jersey so I can get famous for my singing’.” “Yes u set me up and yes u will go down. CAN’T WAIT FOR COURT!” “Not to mention I REALLY dot give a f—k about Hannah or Duffy when I’ve been in and out of the hospital for 3 weeks now with mono/strep and have to get my tonsils out.” “Yeah as I’m about to walk out the door to go to the hospital the cop is at my door and I got down on my knees and poured out tears. I was so upset.” “I had to go to jail THEN go to the hospital. I feel like sh!t, would greatly appreciate it if everyone would drop it. K?! Thxxxx !” Consider it done, Jenelle.
