Shannon Beador and Boyfriend: We’re Basically Already Co-Parents!

Recently, Shannon Beador has been totally inseparable from her businessman boyfriend, John Janssen. Their relationship has been looking serious. Now, as they get closer, they’re getting to know each other’s kids. Look at these sweet blended family photo. Shannon Beador and John Janssen are serving up Brady Bunch realness in this family photo that she shared on Instagram. “What an experience at my very first rap festival,” Shannon’s caption begins. “#Realstreetfest,” she tagged her post, adding that the “Kids had a ball.” She and John just tried to keep up. “Parents did their best to be hip,” Shannon concluded. It’s great to see these “cool parents” having a good time with all six children — three of hers and three of his. But it’s not really a surprise to see that everyone is so comfortable around each other. After all, earlier this month, Shannon affirmed to Us Weekly that she and John are “in a really good place”in their relationship. Shannon has been gushing that she has “never been happier.” You know what? After everything that David put her through, we can believe it. Shannon has also explained part of why she is so willing to trust him after having been hurt so deeply in the past. “My friends have known him for 30 years,” Shannon explained. When you’re hooking up with a friend-of-a-friend, you can sometimes (and only sometimes!) skip worrying about someone’s true intentions. “So,” Shannon reasoned. “I didn’t have to make sure he was there for the right reason” She’s a wealthy celebrity. That must be a huge weight off of her shoulders. Every time that she discusses her boyfriend, Shannon just sounds over the moon. “He’s just a great person,” she gushed about him. As we’ve seen, Shannon was a little horniness-motivated earlier in the year, but this time, it sounds like there’s a real emotional bond. “I have a great connection with him,” Shannon revealed. And then she dropped the L-word, saying: “I’m very much in love.” Shannon is now thoroughly divorced from David. So … should we be expecting wedding bells in her future? “I’m 55 years old,” Shannon noted earlier this month. “I haven’t wanted to rush into anything.” “I’ve got one shot left,” she expressed. “if I want to be realistic.” To be clear, plenty of people marry more than once after turning 55. Shannon explained: “I want to be certain this time that everything is gonna be good.” It’s good that, as head-over-heels in love as she is, she still has her feet planted firmly on the ground. Some folks — especially when they’re looking to rebound from a marriage — lose all sense of reason and repeat past mistakes. It sounds like Shannon has both the wisdom and the common sense to tread carefully, even when her heart is bursting with affection. Still, introducing someone to your kids (and yourself to his kids, and the kids to each other) is a huge step. If things carry on like this, we could be seeing a lot more of John in the future. Mind Your Business, White People: Black Man Harassed By Mayo Dollop Over Whether He Lives In Apartment Building

Source: Kwanchai Lerttanapunyaporn / EyeEm / Getty White Man Questions Whether Black Man Lives In Apartment Complex Why can’t white people just mind their f**king business? Seriously, why? A Black Bleacher Report employee, Chika Okafor, has, unfortunately, become the latest contestant on “The Price Is White” when a condescending soup cookie stopped him to question whether or not he actually lived in his apartment building. The krusty kolonizer klaims that he’s lived in the building for “27 years” and has never seen Chika in there. As if he knows every single person in the entire complex. SMFH. The incident was caught on camera per uush. As you can see, he thought that he was entitled to know who I was and where I lived simply because, according to him, he lived there for 27 years. https://t.co/SWzpkK4qbk — Chika Okafor (@ChikaO_13) December 20, 2018 The arrogance is appalling but honestly, not surprising because far too many times people of color have been victims of this kind of behavior. You can watch the video of the incident here. #racialprofiling #privilege #racism #noseyneighbor #mindyourbusiness #harassment pic.twitter.com/DlnSf154h8 — Chika Okafor (@ChikaO_13) December 20, 2018 It wasn’t lost on commenters that the white man clearly had an objective, via Yahoo : “What was with him criticizing you for being calm, collected and cool. These people can’t stand that a black man can be more dignified and cooler than they will ever be,” one Twitter user commented. Further-f***ing-more… “If he was truly backing down to be neighborly, he would have done neighborly things like introduce himself or extend a handshake,” another person wrote. “His intentions were very clear.” Hey, white folks, mind your f***ing business. Go in your house and leave us the f**k alone.

We Want Prenup: Russian Businessman Ordered To Pay $4.5 BILLION In Divorce Settlement

She got that BILLION dollar… Russian Businessman Loses Billions In Biggest Divorce Settlement Ever The phrase “ it’s cheaper to keep her ” has likely never been truer. Via ABCNews : A Russian billionaire is separating from his wife — and $4.5 billion of his assets. Among Dmitry Rybolovlev’s holdings, through various ownership structures, are reportedly a $95 million Palm Beach mansion (which once belonged to Donald Trump), an $88 million New York apartment and islands in Greece and Hawaii. The self-made fertilizer mogul, who is worth an estimated $8.8 billion, according to Forbes, was ordered by a Swiss court on Monday to pay his ex-wife, Elena Rybolovleva, approximately half of his net worth in what could be the largest divorce settlement in history. The couple was married in 1987. Marc Bonnant, the lawyer for Elena Rybolovleva, said he was pleased with the ruling because it was “exactly what she asked for.” Yeah…we bet that’s exactly what she asked for! But wait…that’s not even all she’s getting. The court granted her just over 4 billion Swiss francs, or just over $4.5 billion, although Bonnant believed it could end up being even more. She was also granted custody over their young daughter plus 115,000 Swiss francs, or just under $129,000, per month to help raise her. Damn…$4.5 billion, multimillion dollar properties , private islands AND $130,000 a month in child support?!? Now, that’s some pricey poon! Ladies take note…he’s still got half his fortune and he’s newly single. Who wants to be the next ex Mrs. Rybolovlev??

Jigga What? Harvard University Tells Black Girl She Can’t List Jay-Z As A Role Model On College Application, Can Rappers Be Role Models?

Harvard better expect an open letter from Bey very soon… Harvard Tells Black Girl Can’t She List Jay-Z As A Role Model Via BusinessInsider : Back in 2005, a Harvard freshman filling out a profile for an on-campus recruiting program listed Jay-Z as her business role-model. Chanequa Campbell was promptly called into the Office of Career Services and told to name someone else. “It’s not appropriate. I don’t think people will respond well to this,” the career counselor told her. Campbell, who grew up seven blocks from Jay-Z in Brooklyn and idolized the drug-dealer turned rapper turned entrepreneur, refused to name someone else. She argued with the career counselor awhile longer, finally offering as a small concession to use her role model’s given name, Sean Carter. “I know his resume,” Campbell told me. “He made most of his major respect—Wall Street respect—since ’04.” Seven years later Campbell, who ended up getting kicked out of Harvard, still gets upset telling how Harvard didn’t respect the businessman from her community. “Most of Jay-Z’s songs, if you understand his vernacular, he’s telling you how to be cool, how to be good at life,” Campbell says. “He’s promoting things of content, things to aspire to. He mentions Warhol, he mentions Basquiat. He mentions people you’ve never heard of. He brings this light to our normal conversation.” Hov hangs out with Barack Obama and parties with Warren Buffett. He trails only Sean “Diddy” Combs on the Forbes’ list of Future Hip-Hop Billionaires. If either makes the cut, he will join the short list of currently only five black billionaires in the world. Did Harvard get it wrong? Can rappers be role models too?

Gary Giordano, Robyn Gardner Murder Suspect, Released By Aruban Officials

Gary Giordano, the businessman who continues to be the prime suspect in the strange disappearance of Maryland woman Robyn Gardner in Aruba, has been released. The decision to cut Giordano loose came just hours after Gardner’s cousin said the family was “disappointed” by Aruban authorities’ fruitless effort to find her body. Gardner is presumed dead and Giordano is believed by many to be involved in her mysterious vanishing this summer. But proving it has been a different matter. “Needless to say, our family is very disappointed that after all this time, we are no closer to finding out what happened to Robyn,” Kelly Reed said in a statement . Gary Giordano, also of Maryland, had been in police custody for almost four months, and authorities insist that he’s lying about the fate of his traveling companion. He was freed after a judge ruled prosecutors didn’t have enough evidence to hold him there any longer. Giordano issued no comments as he departed the facility. Gardner, 35, met Giordano, 50, through an online dating site and the pair took a vacation to the Caribbean island on July 31. Soon after, things went horribly awry. Giordano reported Robyn Gardner missing just two days later. He said Gardner was pulled out to sea by a strong current as they snorkeled near the shore. Three days after her mysterious disappearance, Giordano was locked up as witnesses disputed his story, and after graphic photos were found on his camera. But the body of Robyn Gardner has yet to be discovered. “The case does not end here,” Aruba’s Solicitor General Taco Stein vowed. “Mr. Giordano will remain our prime suspect. We know he is lying; His story is not true.” Prosecutors said they will continue to build a case and will seek his extradition from the U.S. if an appeals court issues a reversal and orders him back behind bars.

10 Ways To Avoid Overdraft Fees

Visit link:

US Banks take in over $38 billion in overdraft fees, which equate to more than 75% of the fees they charge on consumer deposits period. With the economy so tight these days, do you really have additional money to throw out the window? As I often remind my clients, banks are not charities; they will capitalize off of you as much as you allow them to. Sure it’s highway robbery to be charged an average of $35 for taking a quick swipe at McDonald’s, but the bottom line is if you didn’t have the money in your account, it’s your fault. Banks don’t care if the kids where whining about a happy meal. Your negligence just cost the family $35 for a toy that costs $0.035 cents (yes, less than a nickel) to produce. If this happens to you a couple times a month, we’re talking about nearly $1000 a year that could go towards paying down debt, building up emergency savings or even college and retirement planning. So, here are a few ways to avoid those pesky overdraft fees. • Keep your Register Updated . Simply put, if you don’t know how much money is in your checking account right now, then you are at risk of overdrawing your account. Many people falsely believe that keeping a check register in their head is a good idea. It’s inevitable that you will forget something. Instead, make it a habit by entering each check or debit card purchase as it is made. Set aside time when you get home to check your receipts and balance your register. Do this every time you spend, and soon it will be second nature. • Don’t Forget ATM Withdrawals . One of the easiest ways to lose track of your money is to forget to record cash you withdraw from an ATM. It happens to people all the time – they forget to record the withdrawal and when the bank statement comes they find out they have hundreds of dollars less than they thought. Nip this potential problem in the bud by always getting an ATM receipt. Place the receipt in a safe place. When you get home refer to the receipt to enter the withdrawal into your register. • Remember to Record Automatic Payments. Having your utility or insurance company automatically take payments out of your checking account can be very convenient. Overdrawing your account because you forgot to record an automatic payment is unquestionably inconvenient. READ MORE Birdman: Birdbrain Or Businessman? Are You Suffering From “Frugal Fatigue?”

Diddy-Dirty Money Invite MTV News Aboard Last Train To Paris

‘I don’t think you’re an artist until people start looking at you like you’re crazy,’ Diddy says as Sway tags along for a day in the life of the trio. By Mawuse Ziegbe, with reporting by Sway Calloway Diddy-Dirty Money visit a Best Buy in Manhattan to sign some Last Train To Paris CDs Photo: MTV News When MTV News flipped on the camera to document Diddy-Dirty Money’s promotional grind for Last Train to Paris on Tuesday, the Bad Boy CEO was firmly in mogul mode, typing away on his smartphone as he sat in an SUV ready to hit the town with MTV News’ Sway for a daylong “RapFix Live” interview . But with Paris, the debut effort from Diddy-Dirty Money, on shelves, the businessman has to juggle the demands of both an artist and an executive — a type of multitasking he revealed he has not done for a long time. “I’ve just been so taken aback just by how it’s been received. I’m not used to being on that side,” Diddy said. The frontman also added that he feels vindicated by the positive reviews Paris has been scoring, despite dealing with critical side-eyes since the project was first announced. “I don’t think you’re an artist until people start looking at you like you’re crazy,” he said. “It’s been a couple years of people looking at me like I’m crazy, and I think that’s one of the things all the interviews and reviews have admitted. ‘Yeah, we thought he was crazy with the concept, but he proved to be right.’ ” When the ladies of Dirty Money, Dawn Richard and Kalenna Harper, entered the vehicle, the singers focused on the exhilaration of finally having the project available to the masses. “I’m so excited, Sway. It’s crazy,” Harper said. “We just keep staring at each other like, ‘We did it!’ ” When their Swizz Beatz-assisted track “Ass on the Floor” pumps through the speakers from New York’s Hot 97, it’s obvious how amped they are, bopping to the beat and spitting the lyrics. Even though Diddy isn’t new to the artist game, he maintained that the thrill of hearing his track hit the airwaves never goes away. Even with stacks of hits behind him, Diddy revealed that he still has a superstition he sticks to for every drop date. “You gotta buy 10 copies of your own album. It’s, like, something I’ve always done every year, for good luck,” he said. “It’s like [when] you vote. You vote for yourself, right?” The convoy arrived at Best Buy in New York’s Union Square a little while later, and staying true to his tradition, Diddy strolled down the aisles to find the Dirty Money records and picked out a stack. But the “Coming Home” rapper said the practice isn’t limited to artists, saying to fans, “You could buy 10 too. You could join in.” The star also urged gawking shoppers to throw down some cash in between posing for photos with fans. For some, a job where the boss is constantly around may be stressful, but Harper maintained that she appreciated having instant access to Diddy’s years of expertise and input. Richard added that being an integral part of the boss’ pet project also means it gets top priority. “It’s also dope because you know that the product will not go in vain because it’s the CEO and it’s his project,” she said. “You know that it’s gonna be 10 times more pushed because it is his baby.” Richard also added that the creative breadth of Paris, which ropes in everything from slinky house to jangly electro, afforded the ex-Danity Kane diva more creative freedom. “This is my third album, and having to conform so much in pop culture and people saying, ‘Oh, your voice isn’t this’ and ‘Your voice isn’t that,’ it was really refreshing to be able to do what I felt and be the tone [I wanted] and Kalenna to be able to sing the way we wanted to sing,” she explained. “I have a more rock/pop sound, but I do it over more hip-hop stuff. That was just something I didn’t feel like I had to conform [to] at all,” Harper said. “I just sounded like I sounded.” Later, the promo train headed back to the Bad Boy headquarters, where the trio got on a conference call with media outlets. When one journalist asked Diddy to respond to snipes that he’s no longer relevant, the star was quick with a retort. “They better turn on the TV, man, and walk outside and breathe some air. I’m like air, baby,” he said. “If I ain’t relevant, then who is?” The mogul later dropped in on an artist whose relevance in 2010 hasn’t really been contested: Justin Bieber . The teen sensation was working on some new music when Diddy stopped by to officially appoint him a member of the Dirty Money family, gifting him with a black-and-white “DM” letterman’s jacket. The mogul also hooked him up with the official “swag walk” of the Dirty Money crew, coolly instructing Bieber how to stroll and use his free hand for “pushin’ the hate back, ’cause there’s a lot of hate sometimes.” Proving he’s a quick study, Bieber suavely bopped along behind Diddy, pushing back the hate like a Dirty Money pro. New Couple Alert: Paris Hilton and Cy Waits

For the second straight weekend, ho-tel heiress Paris Hilton flew 4,000 miles from overseas to visit … Las Vegas. Which is just a few hours from her L.A. home. The reason? Cy Waits. She’s dating the businessman and nightclub entrepreneur based in Sin City – and going to great lengths to keep the new romance hot! A week ago, Paris Hilton came in via a flight from Egypt, and over this past weekend, on a flight straight from Brazil. Says a source close to Cy Waits … “It sure looks as if the new matchup is picking up steam on their fourth weekend of togetherness. They are inseparable while here in Las Vegas.” He and Paris Hilton went to Pure, where sister Nicky was hosting and celebrating beau David Katzenberg’s new MTV series The Hard Times of R.J. Berger . Cy Waits and Paris Hilton are really hitting it off . Later, Paris, Cy, Nicky and David went to hotspot LAX in the Luxor, where Shayne Lamas and Nik Richie , her husband and TheDirty.com founder were hosting. “They’re taking it slow and sensibly,” one of Paris’ friends told me. “She’s happy, and that’s the most important thing. It’s not super-serious dating yet.” “Nobody knows where this might lead. I don’t even think they do. Paris is so busy with her launch of her new Tease fragrance inspired by [Marilyn Monroe].” “They’re seeing each other and getting to know each other better. She thinks he is very sweet, considerate and caring and loves the fact that he’s self-made.” That’s a great little dig at former boyfriend Doug Reinhardt, heir to his family’s frozen burrito fortune, but pretty much useless on his own merit.
