Royal Rodeo: Kate Middleton & Prince William Don Cowboy Hats, Look Adorable

On the last day of their Canadian tour (they arrive in the U.S. today) Prince William and Kate Middleton went all out for the Calgary Stampede. Wearing Stetsons and jeans, the royal couple were greeted by the Governor General of Canada, His Excellency David Johnston, at the event. As they watched a performance by the Young Canadians of the Calgary Stampede, the Duke and Duchess were even seeing tapping his toes! YEE-HA : William and Kate looked great, don’t y’all agree? Margaret Southern, co-chairman of the Spruce Meadows equestrian park in Calgary, Alberta, said, “I was proud to see them wearing their hats.” “William said ‘When in Rome, do as the Romans do,’ and I thought that was very sweet … They didn’t have to wear the hats, but they did.” “Kate said to me, ‘Doesn’t William look handsome?'” We’d have to say she was right, wouldn’t you? The look suits the Duchess, too. This is easily one of our favorite Kate Middleton pics to date! [Photo: Fame Pictures]

Guillermo Del Toro May Be Too Busy for Hellboy III

Hellboy comic creator Mike Mignola is shedding doubt on the possibility for a Hellboy III , suggesting that director Guillermo del Toro is quite unlikely to get around it. “Last I heard he said he would not make it,” Mignola said at the Calgary Comics Expo. “Guillermo — who I love — in every interview there’s a new story on what his next movie is and he honestly believes he’s going to do all these things….I’m not surprised because he won’t live long enough to do a tenth of the movies he’s told me he’s going to make.” In the immediate future, del Toro will film Pacific Rim . With the 10 additional dates announced on Wednesday (February 16), the North American Loud tour is now up to 17 shows, with promoter Live Nation promising that more stops could be added in the future. But honestly it’s an honor and a blessing to be able to go out with a talent such as hers and I look forward to doing my part to make the tour unforgettable for the fans that come out and see us.” The pair will have plenty to chat about on the road, as they both won Grammys on Sunday night, with Rihanna picking up Best Dance Record for “Only Girl in the World” and Green taking Best Urban/Alternative Performance for “Forget You.” Both were also winners on Tuesday night at England’s Brit Awards . Drake Postpones Away From Home Tour’s European Leg

The Toronto MC says he made ‘difficult decision,’ but must tend to his ailing mother. By Jayson Rodriguez Drake Photo: Getty Images Drake announced on Thursday (July 1) that he’ll postpone the European leg of his Away From Home Tour , set to begin Friday, to tend to his ailing mother, who has been battling an arthritic condition and an illness that affects her entire body, often leaving her unusually fatigued. The rapper released a statement explaining the last-minute decision to his fans. “Despite my best hopes, it is apparent that my mother will need surgery earlier than anticipated,” Drake said. “In light of this news, I have made the difficult decision to cancel my European tour in order to support her during her recovery, just as she supported me through the years. I cannot thank my European fans enough and look forward to performing abroad soon. I ask everyone to please respect my family’s privacy during this time.” The Toronto lyricist has postponed shows in Paris, Amsterdam and London; the shows will be rescheduled for November 2010. A number of his European appearances, however, were festival appearances that Drake will no longer make. The So Far Gone star will resume his tour on July 16 for the Canadian leg, which includes dates in Montreal, Calgary and Vancouver. In the MTV documentary “Drake: Better Than Good Enough,” the rapper opens up, abeit briefly, about his mother’s illness. “My mom is sick,” he says in one scene. “So that scares me a lot. She’s been the most supportive person I’ve ever had in my life — the only person that loves me unconditionally, really. I know a lot of people love me and I love a lot of people. But to love somebody unconditionally is different.” Related Videos ‘Drake: Better Than Good Enough’ Related Photos Drake’s Style: From A To Drizzy Related Artists Drake

Minaj later dropped out of the tour , saying she was going to focus on wrapping up her debut instead. “Barbz I’m sorry 2 say I will not be going out on RiRi’s tour. I’ve decided 2 use that time 4 the completion of my album. Hope u understand,” the star tweeted just days after the tour was announced. The hip-rock star — who goes by Travie instead of Travis for his solo work — premiered the video for his new single “The Manual” featuring T-Pain and Young Cash online on Friday. Travie recently told MTV’s Buzzworthy that the solo effort is just one of the many side projects he tinkers with while still being a part of the Gym Class Heroes. “Since the beginning of Gym Class Heroes, we’ve all kind of had side projects,” he said. “This is just an extension of that.” Last Girl on Earth tour dates with Rihanna and Ke$ha according to McCoy’s label:
