On August 1, 2018, rapper and entrepreneur YG donated $150,000 to startup company GirlCodeLA to help usher in a generation of Los Angeles girl coders. YG is setting out to create more opportunities for future female entrepreneurs and that can be attributed to his close relationship with business partner Karen Civil. “Gender bias plays a role in the amount of exposure students receive in regards to technology and coding. This leads to influence future decisions within their field, creating smaller opportunities for diveristy. With my donation, I hope they’ll be able to expand their reach of future female coders and programmers. I want to make sure I’m doing my part, I got a daughter and I respect the G Code.” GirlCodeLA is an organization that is aimed to develop and continue to expose young women to computer science, business, and software engineering. All participants have the opportunity to learn, understand, and execute a plan to develop a career through classes, seminars, and hands on training. The organization was founded by entrepreneur, Dez White, she turned her interests toward technology and application development into a success story when she launched Invisible Text which turned into Invisible Social, Invisible Email, and Invisible Call in 2014.

If you're a follower of all things Teen Mom , then by now, you've probably caught wind of the biggest development to the franchise since Farrah Abraham got fired for being Farrah Abraham. We're talking, of course, about Bristol Palin joining the cast of Teen Mom OG . The news has already prompted several important questions: Will Bristol be able to deliver the ratings? Does the average MTV viewer even remember the 2008 election? Does seeing Russia from one's house count as collusion? And, of course, how does the rest of the cast feel about Bristol's casting ? Now, it turns out the answer to that last query could create some serious problems for the show's producers: 1. New Girl Bristol is one of the most famous former teen moms in the country, but the news of her casting came as a total shock, nonetheless. 2. Classified Info MTV reportedly went to great lengths to keep the news under wraps, even going so far as to refer to Bristol by a codename in meetings and internal documents. 3. The Maci Connection An insider revealed yesterday that Maci Bookout was directly linked to the decision to cast Bristol. 4. A Failed Gambit It seems that at one point, Maci refused to continue filming unless producers assured her that they would no longer feature her first baby daddy, Ryan Edwards, on the show. Apparently, she didn’t want her eldest son to see his father struggling with addiction on TV. 5. Whoops The move backfired, however, as producers decided to continue filming Ryan while simultaneously seeking out a suitable replacement for Maci. 6. Enter Bristol And just like that, Bristol wound up joining the cast. Since well before the insane Jersey Shore: Family Vacation trailer aired, fans have been eager to see their favorite disasters back on screen. And one season clearly wasn’t enough. MTV knows that. So Jersey Shore is coming back for another season — and we already know where. RadarOnline was able to uncover where Jersey Shore is filming its new season. “Nicole and Jenni are flying out to Las Vegas on a private jet tomorrow.” And this isn’t a vacation — no matter what the show is named or where it takes place, showing up on camera is a lot of work. “To start filming season two of Jersey Shore. ” Fans already knew that MTV wasn’t going to drop the series, but it’s a relief to hear that there are concrete plans in place. This on-set production source continues, announcing that the cast will include more than just Snooki and JWoww. “They are both definitely returning …” Well, we figured as much. “… Along with all of the boys!” Oh! RadarOnline reports that Mike Sorrentino and “the guys” are, according to that production source, already there to film. So, here is what we know so far about this new season: It will take place in Las Vegas, which is a recipe for a very entertaining disaster if we’ve ever heard one. Remember, normal people go to Vegas and get a little out of control. Also, the cast will be staying in a rented mansion rather than a hotel. Mansions are great settings for all sorts of things, from fictional murder mysteries to very real and dramatic realtiy shows. Their new adventures begin in the desert. However, apparently filming on this season is scheduled to wrap up on the actual Jersey shore. The source says: “They are all super excited for Season 2 and feel like this is going to be the best season yet.” That is certainly good news. Though fans have wanted Jersey Shore back on their screens for years, only in 2018 did they get their wish. It seems that they have the success of Floribama Shore to thank. That show’s ratings made it clear to the higher-ups that there is still a huge market for people who want to watch reality stars make disastrous decisions (without residing in the White House). Sammi Giancola couldn’t come back this past season because of Ronnie. So far, we have not seen any indications that this is going to change. Ronnie seems too unstable, and Sammi staying away seems like a smart move. Even so, with so many returning cast members, this really does feel like it’s the revival series that fans have yearned for and that MTV promised. It is worth noting that the original teaser trailer did not reveal where the cast would be. They may end up filming at different locations — a new one each season — all over the country. Perhaps even all over the world. For now, though, fans can look forward to watching their tanned, trashy faves tear up the town. But hey, this is Las Vegas that we’re talking about. Kanye Shows Off Yeezy Season 6 With Faux Kims While Kim was busy flashing all her goods and services all over IG and pissing people off with her “Bo Derek braids” yesterday , she and Kanye were apparently gearing up for a “fashion show” of his latest Yeezy collection. The Wests teamed up with a slew of IG influencers, It Girls, and family friends to have them recreate Kim’s looks and photos from earlier this year when she wore every piece — 19 looks total — from the Yeezy Season 6 collection over the course of two days and made a point to get snapped by the paparazzi. Kanye decided to forego showing his line in Fashion Week this time around, and let his wife, and now these ladies wearing a costume of his wife, show the collection via social media instead. Among the women chosen to do their best Kimmy impression were Rob Kardashian’s rumoured old work Amina Blue: Kylie’s bestie Jordyn Woods: And models/designers the Clermont Twins Some of the models even recreated the looks WITHOUT clothes — in true Kim K style — but you’ll have to hit IG on your own to peep the blurred-out nips and lady bits.
