Selena Gomez Slays "Same Old Love" at AMAs

Selena Gomez turned the sexy factor way up at the 2015 American Music Awards. Due to the explicit lyrics in the chorus, the song was actually censored by ABC at times, but Selena's alluring outfit was on full display for all to see and enjoy throughout. She took to the stage after Jennifer Lopez opened the AMAs via an amazing dance routine and belted out a version of her track, “Same Old Love.” This is the track, remember, that Selena swears is not about Justin Bieber. It is second single off Gomez’s new album, “Revival,” which was released in October and which debuted at number-one on the Billboard 200 albums chat. Selena was asked to perform this year despite NOT being nominated for any actual American Music Awards, which is unusual. In 2014, you might remember that Gomez broke down on stage while singing “The Heart Wants What It Wants” for the first time in concert. That song was clearly about Bieber. There's been talk, meanwhile, that Selena and Justin are back together. Or at least doing very well once again. Just two nights prior to the American Music Awards, Bieber serenaded his ex-girlfriend with the single “My Girl” and then the pair were spotted strolling around Beverly Hills late at night. Pretty exciting, huh? Perhaps that explains why Selena does not shed a single tear in the following performance. She just sheds a few layers of clothing and looks damn fine while doing so. We see where you're coming from, Justin. This is hard to resist, man. WATCH NOW!

WATCH Celine Dion Pay Tribute to Paris Attack Victims

The 2015 American Music Awards were full of memorable performance. Justin Bieber closed the show by getting soaked by water from above . Alanis Morisstte and Demi Lovato teamed up for an intense duet of “You Oughta Know.” Selena Gomez got all sexy and slayed a rendition of “Same Old Love.” But Celine Dion put on the most emotional performance of all, this cannot be denied. The 47-year old French-Canadian brought tears to the eyes of most viewers by taking to the stage at the Microsoft Theater and giving a powerful performance of the classic Edith Piaf song “Hymne à L’Amour” in French. She did so, of course, as a tribute to the more than 130 people who died in the terrorist attacks in Paris this month; an event that shook a nation. An event that shook the globe, really. Dion sang with a live orchestra as photos from The City of Love flashed across the screen behind her. Several audience members broke down in tears at various points. The beloved, amazing singer was introduced by Oscar winner Jared Leto, who said made a moving introduction of his own. “Many of us here are the sons and daughters of immigrants,” he said, prior to mentioning Steve Jobs and President Barack Obama. “The entire world matters and peace is possible.” Emotional stuff, for sure. It's tragic this performance had to take, of course, but it's worth watching now that it has.

Jennifer Lopez Covers Glamour Women Of The Year Issue

‘American Idol’ judge is the magazine’s ‘All-Star Woman.’ By Christina Garibaldi Jennifer Lopez on the December 2011 cover of Glamour Photo: Conde Nast Jennifer Lopez has had a roller coaster ride of a year. In January, the singer took over one of the vacant judges’ seats on “American Idol,” scored a hit single with “On the Floor” off her album Love? a few months later, and saw her seven-year marriage to Marc Anthony come to an end in the summer. But it seems 2011 will end on a high note for Lopez as she’ll grace the December cover of Glamour ‘s annual Women of the Year issue. Lopez is being honored as an “All-Star Woman” for her numerous achievements this year in television, music, fashion and charity. The singer/actress/fashionista was interviewed for the magazine by another inspiring woman, actress Jane Fonda. Lopez talked candidly about what she’s learned about love and relationships over this past year. “I think I’ve finally learned the biggest lesson of all: You’ve got to love yourself first,” Lopez says. “You’ve got to be OK on your own before you can be OK with someone else. You’ve got to value yourself and know that you’re worth everything. And until you value yourself enough and love yourself enough to know that, you can’t really have a healthy relationship.” So does that mean Lopez is ready to date again? Possibly, but this time she plans to try to keep her love life out of the tabloids. “I think to give something a chance, to really get to know somebody, you want to do it out of the public eye,” Lopez says. “You know the media — they want to rush everything.” While Lopez’s romances often make headlines, the “American Idol” judge has been also been known to turn heads with her style. “The things I liked when I was, like, 16 and in the Bronx — jeans, cut-up T-shirts — I still like,” she admits. “But I’ve been exposed to so much now from traveling the world and seeing couture clothes,” Lopez added. “I used all of that when I created my new line for Kohl’s. My style has come from everything, from where I started to where I am today.” Lopez and 10 other lucky ladies will be honored in Glamour magazine’s Women of the Year issue, which hits newsstands November 1. Locksmith Gets Super-Lyrical On New Mixtape

‘I got my notoriety from going into that hip-hop underground battle world,’ MC tells Mixtape Daily. By Rob Markman, with reporting by Ade Mangum Locksmith Photo: IMGMI Firestarter: Locksmith Not much is known about Locksmith , but one thing is for sure: The Richmond, California, MC can spit with the best of them. On Wednesday’s “RapFix Live,” Locksmith closed the show with a tongue-twisting, lyrically packed freestyle verse, but for those who have been following the Bay Area lyricist this is nothing new. “I really got my start … I got my notoriety from going into that hip-hop underground battle world,” Locksmith told Mixtape Daily . In September, the verbal wizard dropped his I Am Lock mixtape as a free Internet download. The 10-track project features production from Ski Beatz and West Coast luminary E-A-Ski . From the tape’s opener, “That Bullsh–,” Lock makes it clear that he is about his business. “It’s more like a raw freestyle song so it’s more accustom for people that are familiar with me,” he said. “They know he can go in. Then, it’s a shock to the people that don’t know me, like, ‘Yo this guy can really spit.’ ” “I ain’t no drug dealer, I ain’t no n—a star/ I ain’t no bitch n—a, I ain’t no prison guard/ I ain’t no f—in’ cop, I represent the Rich/ My little cousin got murdered n—a f— a bitch,” he spits. The wordplay continues throughout. Later in the track, Smith goes even deeper when he lets loose with lines like, “Lyrically I’m on another level, try to bruise me/ I make Lil Wayne sound like Lil Boosie/ I make Andre sound like Kanye/ If a n—a don’t believe a mother—er, step to me.” For Locksmith, however, all of this is simply a warm-up for his debut album, Embedded, which is due out November 15. Kings of Leon Give Glimpses Of Sundown In Connecticut

There was not a pigeon in sight as the band showed off songs from their upcoming album on Tuesday night. By Jeremy Kaplan Kings of Leon (file) Photo: Douglas Mason/ Getty Images HARTFORD, Connecticut — New England got its fix of Southern-tinged rock on Tuesday night, when the Kings Of Leon stopped at Connecticut’s Comcast Theatre on their latest headlining tour. On the eve of the announcement that Come Around Sundown, the follow-up to their breakout album Only by the Night, would be out on October 19, the Kings mixed big radio songs like “Sex on Fire” and earlier favorites like “Milk” with new tracks. The band started their set with a bass-heavy “Crawl” as they entered the stage through clouds of swelling red smoke. A fifth backing musician, who remained without introduction the whole night, lent extra fullness to the sound accompanying frontman Caleb Followill’s croaky-on-purpose voice. KOL brought together the 20,000-strong crowd old die-hard followers and newcomers as all sang along to “Fans,” from 2007’s Because of the Times. The Followills also expanded on their Southern roots for some new blues-oriented, harmonized tracks, including “Immortals” and “Southbound.” The band’s clear sound and the well-timed camera-work for the video screens — zooming in on each musician during their key parts — gave the entire show the feel of an orchestrated live album. Given the unfortunate pigeon-attack of their recent gig in St. Louis , such a smooth-running show was probably a relief to band and fans alike. After playing a 75-minute powerhouse set, the Kings came back for an encore that included the radio phenomenon “Use Somebody” and closed the show with “Black Thumbnail.” After almost two years of nonstop touring, the boys from Tennessee showed little signs of slowing down.
