Just a couple of days before Valentine's Day, Larissa Lima was arraigned over her (latest) arrest for domestic battery. Despite Colt Johnson's accusation that his 90 Day Fiance bride was abusive, a lot of fans have questions. Having seen photos of Larissa after their latest fight, a lot of people have a hard time seeing Colt as the victim. But Colt's mother, Debbie, tells SoapDirt that Colt was absolutely a victim of Larissa's abuse. Debbie isn't quite a neutral party in this, but her words carry some weight. She also shares that Larissa's legal situation could be much, much worse than anyone realizes. 1. Debbie is confirming her son’s story She says that Larissa abused Colt during their marriage. It is unclear if she is claiming to have witnessed this, but we’ll walk you through what she has been willing to share. 2. At first, Larissa and Debbie seemed to get along Very quickly, however, Larissa’s complaints about everything, coupled with her arrival signaling a change in Debbie’s life, caused Colt’s mom to break down into tears. 3. A feud quickly began Debbie confessed that Larissa was making her miserable, and Larissa wasn’t shy about feeling the same way 4. Larissa said that Debbie was ruining her life She did not appreciate having a third wheel in the house — especially after she and Colt got married. 5. So much for happily ever after, we guess, huh? On 90 Day Fiance this week, we learned that one cast member stepped out on the other, causing massive strife and sadness and speculation over the future of their marriage. We have to start with Jay and Ashley , who finally got married, yet didn’t really get to enough a honeymoon phase. Before vows were even exchanged, we witnessed Jay seriously stressing out about being stuck with just one person for the rest of his life. “I’m going to be tied down forever. I can’t do nothing,” he whined. “I don’t think anyone is 100 percent ready to get married unless they’re like 50.” That was disturbing enough to hear, but then it got so much worse: On the every day they got home from their Las Vegas wedding, Ashley discoverde that Jay had made a Tinder account — and was messaging numerous women asking them to meet up. What… the… Hell, dude?!?!? “After everything that I’ve done for him and this is how he treats me. I don’t even know how you can go to bed at night,” Ashley said in response. “The signs were there and I just ignored them.” She added that because they’re husband and wife and he is not a citizen, she’s responsible for him — so she can’t just kick him out of her house, which makes things extra hard on her. What will she do, we were left to ponder? For Eric and Leida , the former was stuck between your basic rock and a hard place. His children didn’t want to come to his wedding and his fiancé threatened to return to her home country all the darn time. “Leida is my last shot at love,” Eric said at one point. Leida, meanwhile, told everyone – even the woman doing her nails the day prior to her wedding – that Eric was a letdown and that she disliked his daughters. Sounds like these two have a real future, huh? “I wish that I could turn back time and just get a single guy. He has a lot of baggage,” she said, adding: “For now I feel like 50/50. I just don’t know if I’m going to do this or I’m just going to go back to Indonesia.” Elsewhere, Steve dropped a bombshell on Olga . He confessed that he never applied for her visa until he got to Russia, so he’s actually the reason she will not be able to return with him. “This is not what I want our relationship to be,” Olga said, understandably upset about the situation. However, Steven realized he had made a ridiculous request when he told Olga he would take their son to the United States. So he apologized and told her to keep their kid until she could come as well. Then, he got down on one knee and proposed! “I’m going to miss him more than anything in the world but I know that it’s the right thing to do,” Steven said. We end with the trials and tribulations of Larissa and Colt . Following Colt’s explosive barbecue, Larissa and his mother, Debbie, were far from fine. Heck, they weren’t speaking for weeks and it stressed out Colt. Big time. “I don’t know that I can forgive her,” Debbie said. “I don’t see how Colt can go through with this marriage because she’s a bitch.” To our surprise, though, Larissa invited Debbie to go with her to get their nails done, apologizing for everything during their outing, which made both of them feel a lot better. “I believe that when Larissa apologized to me, it was very sincere,” Debbie said. “I think we probably figured out a lot of our problems.”
There’s officially a new member of the One Direction Dads’ Club! Liam Payne took to Instagram moments ago to confirm that he and girlfriend Cheryl Cole have welcomed a baby boy. It’s the first child for both. Payne confirmed the news by posting the photo above along with a heartfelt message praising his loved ones and fans for their continued support: “My close friends and family know there are very few times when I’m left speechless… wow! “I’m incredibly happy to welcome our new baby boy into the world, it’s a moment that I will never forget for the rest of my life and my favourite memory I have so far. “I’m completely in awe of his incredible mother and how she has been the whole way through this, she’s really made my dreams come true. He added that the child does not yet have a name, writing: “We haven’t named him yet but he’s already capturing hearts including mine. I feel very blessed.” Cole posted the same photo to her own social media accounts along with the following caption: “On Wednesday, 22nd March Liam and I became parents to an incredibly beautiful, healthy baby boy, weighing 7lb 9 and looking like a dream. “Although he still doesn’t have a name he is already stealing hearts. We are all madly in love and overwhelmingly happy with our little arrival.” She added: “Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers around the world. A day that now has a different meaning to me forever.” Yes, tomorrow is Mother’s Day in the UK, and little As-Yet-Unnamed arrived just in time the make the occasion all the more special to Cheryl. After meeting when he auditioned for The X Factor back in 2010, Cole and Payne began dating last spring. The early days of their romance were marred by controversy, as it was widely rumored that Cole had left her husband for Payne, who’s ten years her junior. (1D fans tend to scrutinize their favorite lads’ love lives just a bit.) Just six months later, rumors that Cole was pregnant with Payne’s baby began to circulate on social media. It may seem difficult to believe, but it’s been three months now since Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds died. Absolutely heartbreaking, right? On December 23rd, Carrie was on a flight to L.A. when she suffered a massive heart attack. When paramedics were able to get to her on the airport, she was unresponsive. She remained in the hospital for a few days, but on December 27th, she passed away . The very next day, Carrie’s mother, the legendary Debbie Reynolds, died after suffering a stroke . Intense, right? And so very, very heartbreaking. Carrie and Debbie had a joint funeral in January for family and friends: Carrie was cremated with her ashes placed in an urn shaped like a Prozac pill , and Debbie was buried along with some of Carrie’s ashes. But today, a public memorial was held for them both at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in L.A. And it was so, so touching. The event was organized by Todd Fisher, Carrie’s brother and Debbie’s son. In a speech to the audience, Todd explained that “When Carrie died, my mother decided to change her plans a bit.” “My mother always said to me, ‘I never want to go to my daughter’s funeral service. I would like to be buried with Carrie.'” “I didn’t know she was going to leave us the very next day,” he said, “and when she looked at me to ask permission to leave, she said she wanted to be with Carrie, and she closed her eyes and went to sleep.” “It was a beautiful exit.” The service featured music composed by John Williams, as well as performances by the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles and dancers from Debbie Reynolds’ dance studio. Dan Aykroyd, Carrie’d one-time fiancé, provided the closing remarks. James Blunt wrote a song for the occasion — he was a close friend of Carrie’s, close enough that he chose her to be the godmother of his child. In an earlier interview, Todd said that “The last lyric in the song, it’s a beautiful song, is ‘I’m here to let you know. I’m here to let you go.'” “And it’s powerful.” Todd’s also explained that he wanted to hold a special service for the public because “That’s how my mother would want it.” He explained that “She was very connected to her fans and felt they were part of her, so we’re opening it to the public.” After the memorial service, fans were able to visit Debbie and Carrie’s graves. On December 23, the entertainment world was stunned by the news that iconic actress and writer Carrie Fisher had suffered a heart attack while aboard a flight. Four days later, Fisher passed away , marking an end to both a remarkable career and a frequently turbulent life. In an almost unbelievably heartbreaking coda to a year defined by loss, Fisher’s mother, the entertainment legend Debbie Reynolds, died just one day after her daughter’s passing. Now, in a fitting tribute to a mother and daughter who were so often inseparable in life, Fisher and Reynolds will reportedly be laid to rest in a joint memorial service. “I think this is what they would have wanted” a source close to the family tells TMZ. The idea for a joint service was reportedly inspired by Reynolds’ last words, “I want to be with Carrie.” Insiders say mother and daughter will be honored at both a small, private ceremony for family and friends, and a larger, more public memorial service at which fans can pay their respects. The relationship between Reynolds and Fisher was often turbulent, but those who knew the screen icons best say their many ups and downs only brought them closer. Fisher’s relationship with her mother inspired many of her autobiographical writings, including the fictionalized account of her family life, Postcards From the Edge . The novel was later adapted into a film, with Meryl Streep playing the character based on Fisher, and Reynolds’ surrogate being portrayed by Shirley MacLaine. Both Fisher and Reynolds spoke openly about their relationship, often providing a hopeful example to other families who had been affected by divorce, mental illness, and addiction: “There have been a few times when I thought I was going to lose Carrie,” Reynolds memorably told Oprah Winfrey in 2011. “I’ve had to walk through a lot of my tears. But she’s worth it.” For better or worse, the relationship between Reynolds and Fisher was a frequent source of public interest, and a dual funeral seems the perfect way to remind the world that while both women experienced countless roadblocks in life, their paths always led them back to each other.
