Gabriel Taye’s Suicide Investigated Following Bullying Video Footage Cincinnati is reporting some disturbing news about the suicide of 8-year-old Gabriel Taye after being violently bullied in the bathroom by his classmates at Carson Elementary School. 2 days after the footage you are about to see, Gabriel hanged himself inside his family’s home. It is posited that the Cincinnati Public School system was negligent in not supervising the restroom after a homicide detective watched the surveillance tape and described the incident as “bullying bordering on criminal assault”. Gabriel’s mother said through her lawyer, Jennifer Branch of Cincinnati, that no one at Carson told her about the assault when she collected Gabriel that day. In the evening of Jan. 24, his mother took him to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center because he was vomiting. After a night in the emergency room, his mother kept him out of school the next day, Jan. 25. On Jan. 26, Gabriel went back to school but at home that night, he hanged himself. Gabriel’s death was officially ruled a suicide, but the investigation has been reopened and new details could emerge. BOSSIP will keep you updated with the developments. R.I.P. Marvel Comics Unveil Black Captain America And Female Thor, Films Will Not Follow Suit

When will Hollywood be ready to be as diverse and unconventional as their source material? Marvel Comics Change Race And Genders Of Heroes, Films Will Remain The Same Marvel announced some major shakeups in the genders and races of some of their most beloved comic-book heroes. A Female character pics up the hammer of Thor, and Falcon, a Black superhero, inherits the role of Captain America. But studio-heads want you to know that Marvel’s main heroes will be remaining lily-white and male for the foreseeable future. Via HuffPost : Marvel announced last week that future comic books will feature a female Thor and black Captain America, but fans expecting to see those specific diversifications translate to the Marvel Cinematic Universe may be in for some disappointment. Speaking to HuffPost Entertainment during press rounds for the forthcoming film “Guardians of the Galaxy,” Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige said he didn’t anticipate the developments would affect anything the studio has planned on the theatrical front at the moment. “I love when they change things up and move things along and do the unexpected,” Feige told HuffPost Entertainment about Marvel Comics. “That’s why these characters have endured for 50-plus years, and it gives us material to keep the movies fresh down the line. I’m not going to say any of those changes are going to happen any time soon in the movies, but the fact that they have happened — and, by the way, that’s happened before; there have been female Thors and black Captain Americas in the past — keeps it current and in the public eye.” As it was revealed last week, Marvel Studios has plans for features through 2019, with 10 movies on the schedule, including “Marvel’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron,” “Ant-Man” and “Captain America 3.” Whether the studio branches out to bring superheroes such as Black Panther or Ms. Marvel to the big screen is unclear, but Feige is not without options. “Listen, I mean, one of the nicknames of Marvel comics is ‘The House of Ideas,’” Feige said of the source material available to him. “Everything they do in publishing becomes possible material for us to turn into movies.” Fair enough, actors sign contracts and you can’t just change at the drop of a hat…but we bet Anthony Mackie (who plays Falcon in the current Marvel film-universe) was a bit bummed to hear he won’t be putting on that All-American armor anytime soon.

Oogieloves Averages $47 Per Screen, On Track For Wrong Kind Of Box Office Record

Teletubbies marketing visionary Kenn Viselman was banking on his latest kiddie venture, the C-list cameo-packed “interactive” adventure The Oogieloves In The Big Balloon Adventure , capturing the hearts and minds of 3-5 year-olds and their parents this Labor Day weekend. But while it looks like Viselman will make a historical splash in the film game, it’s so, so, so the wrong kind: Averaging just $47 per screen after opening in 2,160 theaters on Wednesday, Oogieloves could go down with one of the worst openings of all time. Box Office Mojo reports the dismal figures from Oogieloves ‘ opening day as a $102,564 take in over 2,000 theaters, or an average of $47.48 per screen, which Christopher Rosen of Huffington Post points out could grant Oogieloves the title of worst wide-release ever if business doesn’t pick up. Like, a lot . But hey, there’s always the chance that parents were waiting for the weekend to take the kids to go dance and talk back to the three giant, terrifying noseless puppet heroes of Oogieloves . Kids love J. Edgar jokes and Christopher Lloyd with maracas! Fingers crossed you make back that $20 million budget, fellas! Meanwhile, stay tuned for further developments on the Oogieloves front. Lindsay Lohan to Be Charged, Arraigned Tomorrow

Lindsay Lohan will be charged with a single count of felony grand theft in an L.A. court Wednesday, stemming from her recent necklace caper . She will be arraigned at 1:30 p.m., in person. Lindsay will be charged with stealing a $2,500 necklace from an L.A. jewelry store. If convicted, she could be sent to California State prison. Lindsay enjoying life on the outside. [Photo: Pacific Coast News] Lohan will not be handcuffed and paraded in front of cameras prior to arraignment, but will simply surrender to the court when she shows up tomorrow. After Lindsay is arraigned, she will be taken to the basement of the courthouse where she will officially add to our gallery of celebrity mug shots . Awesome. Presumably, she will be granted bail by the judge and post it on the spot. We’ve been over this enough times with Lohan that we’re pretty confident by now. Further developments will be chronicled right here as they happen.

No, not THE Millionaire Matchmaker. Someone he met on it. From all appearances it seems as though newly rehabbed oily heir Jason Davis is engaged. That’s right, Gummi Bear could be off the market, and permanently! Davis and his mystery blond dined at The Ivy in Beverly Hills, Calif., this week, where they showed off his lady friend’s ring to friends, which apparently he has. Perhaps Rould 12 in rehab has really done the “Gummi” good – and his stint on Millionaire Matchmaker did too! Or not, really. We don’t know who she is. Any help on that front would be appreciated. If you keep up on the developments in the dating life of Jason Davis , you are a better man/woman than us when it comes to celebrity gossip. We applaud that. Jason Davis and his possible fiancee step out .

HP, Microsoft Gearing Up for the “Ipad Killer”

As many consumers testified on the Nexus One as the “Iphone Killer”, rumors are also brewing that Microsoft and Google is gearing up for the “Ipad Killer”. Rumors of Microsoft’s plan to develop an Android or Chrome OS Pen Tablet to compete with the Apple iPad’s features and functions. As it has been heard from a party in New York, Google’s CEO Eric E. Schmidt mentioned that the rumored tablet device will be running the Android Operating System. A concrete testimony to the developments however, have not yet been confirmed. It could be the HP Slate or another device in the making that would be the “Ipad Killer”, but the consumers yet have to see.
