Lisa Vanderpump Ordered to Pay $100K to Waitress in Sexual Harassment Lawsuit

A jury ordered The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Lisa Vanderpump to pay $100,000 in a lawsuit brought forward by former employee Karina Bustillos. Lisa Vanderpump, Dog Scoff at Verdict Lisa Vanderpump was shocked to learn the verdict in a sexual harassment lawsuit brought forth by Bustillos, a waitress at her restaurant Villa Blanca. Bustillos went to court after she was allegedly “manhandled” by another staff member on Lisa Vanderpump’s payroll – the manager, Michael Govia. A jury decided to hold Villa Blanca at fault and has hereby ordered Bustillos be paid $100,000 in punitive damages as a result of the alleged harassment. Lisa Vanderpump’s attorney, outraged at the verdict, plans to file an appeal, saying “We are in absolute shock at the amount of punitive damages that were awarded. “Especially in light of nominal compensatory damages awarded and the lack of evidence … We plan to file an appeal and are confident that we will prevail.” According to reports, the waitress was allowed to go after Villa Blanca for punitive damages because the jury “found the restaurant acted with malice.” No one, however, expected that Bustillos would be awarded such a large sum of money. Bustillos was happy with the verdict, though … not surprisingly. Lisa Vanderpump might be outraged on principle, but if you watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills online , what’s a hundred grand to this woman? Heck, she might spend that much to hire best legal team in the country just to appeal this verdict to death and win simply for the sake of winning. She and beloved dog Jiggy didn’t seem too concerned in the video above. Regardless, apparently Kyle Richards and Brandi Glanville aren’t the only ones hating on Lisa. Frances Cobain BLASTS Lana Del Rey: Shut Up About My Dad!

In a bizarre interview published last week, Lana Del Rey glamorized premature death , and hinted that she’d like to emulate her idols Amy Winehouse and Kurt Cobain by not living to see 30. Naturally, a lot of people took offense to this mind-blowingly foolish statement, and one of the critics of Lana’s comments knows all too well about the pain that can be caused by one person’s reckless disregard for their own health and well-being. Frances Cobain lost her father – legendary Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain – when she was just a year old. Lana Del Rey: I Wish I Was Dead! The young artist was understandably upset by Lana’s comments and has made her feelings clear on Twitter: “@LanaDelRey the death of young musicians isn’t something to romanticize,” Cobain tweeted. “I’ll never know my father because he died young & it becomes a desirable feat because people like you think it’s ‘cool.'” “Well it’s not,” Cobain continued. “Embrace life, because you only get one life. The ppl you mentioned wasted that life.” Wow. Surprisingly insightful comments from 21-year-old  – particularly one partially raised by Cobain’s notoriously troubled widow, Courtney Love. Recently, a new note found at the scene of Cobain’s death  seemed to suggest that the marriage between the two singers was a deeply hostile one.  Shortly thereafter, Love’s father suggested she was involved in Cobain’s death . Needless, to say it remains an ugly situation more than 20 years after Cobain’s death, so it’s plain to see why Frances might object to someone romanticizing her troubled family. American Student Gets Stuck in Enormous Vagina Sculpture

USA! USA! US… hey, wait a second. What?!? According to NBC News, an American exchange student sparked an “extraordinary rescue mission” last week when his leg got stuck inside a giant vagina sculpture in Tuebingen, Germany. “It was a dare,” fire department squad leader Markus Mozer explained to NBC . “The young man had tried to pose for an unusual photo and climbed into the artwork.” And, come on, fellas. We all know how complicated it can be once you’re inside there. It took a total of 22 rescue workers (seriously!!!), along with special equipment, to wedge the 20-year old out after about a half hour. The six-foot replica of female genitalia was put in place 13 years ago outside the microbiology and virology department of the city’s university clinic. It’s worth nearly $200,000. This story, however, is priceless. Strange But True News Hall of Fame 1. Drunk Man Tries to Urinate Out of Cop Car Window Devin Langford, a drunk man in custody, tried to urinate out of the rear passenger side window of a moving police car because he was drunk. It did not go as planned.

Rita Ora and Calvin Harris Break Up; Justin Bieber to Blame?!

Rita Ora and Calvin Harris have broken up, the DJ confirmed on Twitter after both were spotted out together with different people in recent weeks. “To address speculation, myself and Rita ended our relationship some time ago,” he said. “She’s a beautiful, talented woman & I wish her all the best.” So what caused the breakup of the couple, who dated for a year? Long distance, primarily … and also Justin Bieber. Seriously. According to TMZ: Justin and Rita got “touchy feely” with one another while they were in the studio together over the last few months, and word got back to Calvin. While laying down tracks, Ora and Bieber were “very affectionate,” with the singer sitting on his lap, the pop star rubbing her back and so forth. Justin was also down in Mexico for the last few days, as was Rita, further fueling speculation that the two are dating or at least hanging out. Either way, Calvin Harris was not a happy camper. At all. He’s already had her things removed from his L.A. house, and will no longer allow the release of songs he worked on with her while they were dating. Sounds like that Tweet was just Harris being diplomatic. Ora, 23, hinted in an interview with The Mirror last month that the strain of flying long distances to see Harris, 30, was starting to take a toll. This was also a factor in her breakup with Rob Kardashian, who famously accused her of cheating on him with like 20 dudes while they were apart. It was a figure we just couldn’t Belieb … until now. The singer, who will star in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie , has been Instagramming up a storm in Mexico while celebrating a friend’s birthday. Not taking the split too hard in other words. Dog Poops Twice During Flight, Plane Forced to Make Emergency Landing

The next time you complain about a crappy flight, think of the passengers on a U.S. Airways flight last week that was forced to make an emergency landing. Because a dog pooped en route from L.A. to Philadelphia. Plane Makes Emergency Landing After Dog Poops Mid-Flight Flight 598 was going smoothly until passengers started smelling something foul. Something people said smelled like dog feces. It was dog feces . “About an hour into the flight, I started smelling a terrible smell,” passenger Steve McCall told Inside Edition in an interview after the trauma. “I look up the aisle way and there’s a dog pooping right in the middle of the aisle. It’s a big dog, three or four feet tall or long, and he was just going!” Other passengers began Tweeting their complaints, and while the crew cleaned up the mess, the lingering stench permeated the US Airways cabin. Then the unthinkable happened, according to McCall: “An hour later, it still smelled bad, and after they cleaned it all up, it pooped again! A couple people started dry-heaving, a couple of people were throwing up.” The cleaning crew ran out of cleaning supplies and the pilot announced that the flight would be making an emergency landing in Kansas City, Missouri. Extreme? Maybe, but when you have people hurling left and right because the odor is THAT putrid, perhaps the alternative of sticking it out is worse. According to McCall, the dog’s owner was apologetic about the incident and asked for fellow passengers’ addresses to send a Starbucks gift card. Nothing erases the memory of dog crap like coffee.
