Raw Story Reports : A gagged priest at Springfield’s St. Aloysius church called 911 late last year and asked them for help because he had been “playing” with handcuffs and he got stuck. Audio of Father Tom Donovan’s Nov. 28 911 call was published by the Illinois Times on Thursday. “I’m stuck in a pair of handcuffs and I’m going to need help getting out before it becomes a medical emergency,” Donovan tells the dispatcher in a muffled voice. Shannen Doherty placed a 911 call from her home in Los Angeles to Westhampton, N.J., last month in the hopes of helping a possibly suicidal fan on Twitter. Doherty acknowledged right away the bizarre nature of her 911 call: Shannen Doherty 911 Call “This is going to sound incredibly strange,” Doherty said. “My name is Shannon Doherty, and I’m an actress and there is a girl who is threatening to shoot herself.” Doherty explained to the dispatcher that “sadly” she is on Twitter, where one of her fans, an unnamed 27-year-old woman, had sent her direct, suicidal messages. Shannen had to call her or she would die, the woman claimed. “I’m completely untrained to deal with somebody threatening suicide,” Doherty admits. “It’s been an undoing thing and my security guys told me to block her.” “She’s aggressive and does very erratic things … I felt bad for her to be honest.” After getting the full rundown on the increasingly common situation, the 911 dispatcher, naturally, couldn’t help but gush just a little over the famous caller. “All my coworkers can’t believe I’m on the phone with you!” the operator admitted.

George Zimmerman has filed a lawsuit against NBC over the way the network edited and played a 911 call following the shooting of Trayvon Martin in February. Zimmerman claims NBC made him look like a “hostile racist.” Trayvon Martin 911 Call NBC launched an internal investigation over the Trayvon Martin 911 call after it aired the recording, which featured Zimmerman quotes outside of their original context. The tape played on the air made it sound like Zimmerman immediately told police that Martin, who he says he shot in self-defense, was black, without being prompted. In actuality, the full George Zimmerman 911 call reveals he only said Martin “looks black” when responding to a question from the dispatcher about Trayvon’s race. Zimmerman, who has been charged with second-degree murder , accuses NBC of creating a “false and defamatory misimpression using the oldest form of yellow journalism.” He cites the recording above as proof of this allegation. NBC, his lawyer says, ” manipulated Zimmerman’s words , splicing together disparate parts of the recording to create the illusion of statements that he never actually made.” Whether a judge and/or jury agree remains to be seen. Free on bail and using autograph sales to raise cash, the 28-year-old suing for unspecified damages, citing defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Zimmerman, a former neighborhood watch coordinator for his gated community in Sanford, Florida, fatally shot the 17-year-old Martin on February 26. He has claimed the shooting was in self-defense. His supporters have long held that he is a victim of media bias in the case that became a sensational national obsession, and should be exonerated.

It’s REALLY hard to watch and listen to the reactions of those that loved Junior Seau. The 911 Call From Junior Seau’s Girlfriend Has Been Released According to TMZ reports : TMZ has obtained the horrific 911 call placed by Junior Seau’s girlfriend moments after the NFL legend shot himself in the chest Wednesday morning at his Oceanside, CA home. Junior’s GF Megan Noderer (below) is so hysterical during the call she can hardly speak — claiming she had just returned from the gym (around 10AM) when she discovered Junior’s bloody body. Megan tells the dispatcher, Junior wasn’t breathing when she arrived and had appeared to have shot himself “in the heart.” Authorities responded and attempted to revive Seau, but life-saving efforts were unsuccessful. Megan Noderer, Junior Seau’s girlfriend, called 911 shortly after discovering the future NFL Hall of Famer dead of apparent suicide Wednesday morning. Police have ruled Junior Seau’s death a suicide after he shot himself in the chest at his Oceanside, Calif., home, a suicide, so the 911 call isn’t surprising. It is as horrific and tragic as it gets, though. Be forewarned, as Nodereris so hysterical during the call she can hardly speak after finding Junior: Junior Seau 911 Call Megan tells the dispatcher that the 43-year-old athlete wasn’t breathing when she arrived and had appeared to have shot himself “in the heart.” Authorities responded and attempted to revive Seau, but life-saving efforts were unsuccessful. Seau was soon pronounced dead on the scene. Seau’s family claims he exhibited no signs of depression before his death, but has since donated his brain to be studied for concussion research. The star’s tragic, shocking passing has renewed the serious debate over the link between pro football and lasting brain injuries to its players.

On the 911 call made the night Frankie Muniz and his girlfriend got into a huge fight, he didn’t want to make a big deal of it because, you know, he’s famous. Of course, the fact that he’s a celebrity and calling 911 all but assures it will become a huge deal, justifiably or not. Hence the newly-released 911 call below. In the midst of his insane fight with Elycia Turnbow , Muniz can be heard telling the dispatcher, “I don’t want to make a big deal because I am a celebrity.” Frankie Muniz 911 Call She claims that Frankie punched her and held a gun to his own head, while he said his girlfriend was “trashing the house” and “she’s hitting me in the face.” When the dispatcher asks for his name, he tells the woman, “I don’t want to make a big deal because I am a celebrity. I don’t want it to be a big deal.” After she accuses him of hitting her, Frankie yells that she struck him. He did give his name, no arrests were made and it’s all good between them now.

How dumb can you be???? A Connecticut man’s plan to grow marijuana went up in smoke after he called 911 and asked how much trouble he would get into for growing the drug. “I was just growing some marijuana and I was just wondering what, how much, you know, trouble you can get into for one plant,” a not-so-bright Robert Michelson asked on Thursday night. When the dispatcher asked if there was an active crime in progress, the 21-year-old answered “possibly.” Dispatchers traced the call to Michelson’s home in Farmington, where cops found drug paraphernalia and a small amount of pot. Michelson admitted he bought seeds and equipment online for growing. He was released on a $5,000 bail. As he left the police station, he gave dispatchers two middle fingers. “Presumably for doing such a good job,” police said. Source
