Let’s Laugh At All The Racists Who Got Mad At The WRONG Brandon Marshall For National Anthem Protest

Racists Get The Wrong Brandon Marshall The NFL has two Brandon Marshalls. One plays for the Broncos and one plays for the Jets. The Marshall that played for the Broncos decided to join the National Anthem protest by taking a knee during the song. This makes “patriots” and racists mad. So mad that they flooded Marshall’s mentions. One problem. They targeted the wrong Black man. Maybe they should all be cops. Whoops. Anyway, let’s laugh at the idiots who went after the wrong Brandon Marshall. Continue reading

Jennifer Lopez’s Lil Wayne Collabo ‘I’m Into You’ Leaks Online

Singer also announces that she will perform on ‘American Idol’ on May 5. By James Dinh Jennifer Lopez Photo: Jeff Kravitz/ FilmMagic Jennifer Lopez collaborated with Pitbull for her comeback dance anthem “On the Floor,” and her follow-up single will continue a trend of linking up with chart-topping MCs. On Wednesday (March 30), the “American Idol” judge took to Ryan Seacrest’s morning radio show to tease a snippet of her new single, “I’m Into You,” which features none other than rapper Lil Wayne . Despite the singer’s “Give It Love, Get It Early” campaign to release the song in its entirety early on iTunes utilizing Facebook ‘s “like” option, the tune has already made its way to the blogosphere. Over a trippy mid-tempo beat, Lil Wayne opens with a brief verse before Lopez sings a tale of a lover’s spellbound attraction. “When I look into your eyes, it’s over/ You got me hooked with your love controller/ I’m tripping and I could not get over/ I’m feeling lucky like a four-leaf clover/ I’m into you,” the pop star sings during the song’s pop&B chorus. The Weezy-assisted tune, which was reportedly produced by Stargate, will be available on iTunes next Tuesday. Among the other songs scheduled for release through the “Give It Love, Get It Early” campaign are “Papi” (April 13) and “Love?” (April 20). In addition to premiering some new music, the pop star opened up about last week’s surprising “Idol” results show, where the judges decided to save contestant Casey Abrams . “It was crazy. We knew that it was kind of a radical decision because it was so early in the season,” the singer told Seacrest. However, Lopez admitted that all the judges unanimously decided that it was the right thing to do to prevent the “dynamic performer” from packing his bags. For now, J. Lo is gearing up to perform her new music on “American Idol” on May 5 as well as at KIIS FM’s annual Wango Tango show on May 14. What do you think of J. Lo’s new tune “I’m Into You”? The Game Rushed To The Hospital After Botched Video Shoot

The Game was carted off to the hospital after attempting a cliche guitar smash during a video shoot in LA. Check out the pics of his nasty gash. According to TMZ , The Game was rushed to the hospital Thursday night after a guitar-smashing stunt went horribly wrong — leaving the rapper with a giant bloody gash in his finger. It all happened in Downtown L.A. during a music video shoot with Snoop Dogg, DJ Skee, Ron Artest, and Matt Barnes — Game was supposed to smash a guitar during the song, but we’re told the rapper smashed it a little too hard … because a jagged guitar piece sliced his finger open like a baked potato. Game — real name Jayceon Taylor — booked it to the hospital as soon as he got the bleeding under control. If we’re lucky, he hurt the hand he tweets with. Maybe this will stop him from cyber-beefing with women, children and relevant rappers. Source

Jimmy Fallon Bids Farewell To ‘Lost,’ ’24,’ ‘Law & Order’ At Emmys

Host channels Elton John, Boyz II Men and Green Day for musical montage. By Jocelyn Vena Jimmy Fallon performs onstage at the 2010 Emmy Awards Photo: Kevin Winter/ Getty Images “In memoriam” segments at awards shows tend to be serious montages featuring some of the fallen stars of the year prior. But at this year’s Emmy Awards, the night’s MC, Jimmy Fallon, decided to have a little fun with the yearly tradition by saying farewell to several of the beloved television shows that went off the air this past year. Dressed as Elton John, Fallon sat down at a pink grand piano and sang his own version of “Candle in the Wind” in honor of the now-defunct “24.” During the song, he changed the lyrics to: “Goodbye ’24’/ Though I never watched you on TV/ I missed one episode/ Had to buy the DVDs/ [Jack Bauer] never going to the men’s room, how did he hold it in?/ I would like to thank you for the torturing/ And the first black president.” Transitioning into a member of Boyz II Men, Fallon said goodbye to onetime television mainstay “Law & Order” with his take on “It’s So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday.” “How do I say goodbye, ‘Law & Order’?/ The good crimes, that changing cast/ I thought we’d get to season 21, but now that sound has gone away/ But at least there’s still that one with Mariska Hargitay,” he crooned to the laughing crowd. Fallon then became Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong and, strumming his guitar, changed up the band’s hit “Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)” as a ballad to fan favorite “Lost.” “The island it was mythical, but in the end they died/ I didn’t understand it, but I tried,” he concluded the song. Eminem Debuts Album Covers For Recovery

Two versions of cover art for rapper’s new album show a more reticent Eminem. By Kyle Anderson Eminem’s Recovery Photo: Interscope On his recent chart-topping single “Not Afraid,” Eminem includes one of the more shocking confessions of his career in the lyrics. “Let’s be honest/ That last Relapse CD was ‘eh,’ ” he raps during the song’s second verse, admitting to the universe that his hit 2009 album Relapse was spotty at best, a sentiment shared by fans and critics alike. Slim Shady and his producers have made it clear that his hotly anticipated upcoming album Recovery will keep its distance from his previous effort, a point that’s driven home by the just-unveiled album art , which Em premiered on his official Web site late Monday. While the cover to Relapse features the man born Marshall Mathers’ visage constructed of pills, the two covers for Recovery show a more reticent side of the rapper. In the first one, Eminem is walking down a desolate road. We only see his back, but the message is clear: The road to recovery (and to Recovery ) is long and hard. Just as Em’s 2000 album The Marshall Mathers LP had a second cover art variation, so does Recovery. The other cover shows Eminem on a brick courtyard in some sort of futuristic-looking office park. He is encased in a glass cube and sitting on a couch reading a book in front of a giant flat-screen television. It is meant to look like some sort of performance art or observational experiment, but again, Slim is all by himself in the frame. After ducking out of the public eye for a few months, Eminem is back to business and has quite a few projects on the horizon. In addition to Recovery (out June 22), he can be heard on the remix to B.o.B’s “Airplanes” (currently making a bid to be the official song of the summer of 2010), is working on signing Slaughterhouse to his Shady Records label, and has a pair of massive concerts with Jay-Z in Detroit and New York coming up in September. Based on the album art, what do you expect from Eminem’s upcoming LP, Recovery ? Let us know in the comments! Related Artists Eminem

T.I. Premieres Second Single From King Uncaged

‘Prison ain’t change me, it made me worse,’ an aggressive T.I. raps on ‘Yeah Ya Know (Takers).’ By Jayson Rodriguez T.I. in NYC on April 20, 2010 Photo: Shareif Ziyadat/ FilmMagic T.I. debuted the second song from his upcoming King Uncaged album on Monday evening (May 24), via his personal website, TrapMuzik.com . Produced by longtime collaborator DJ Toomp, “Yeah Ya Know (Takers)” appears to double as a number from the forthcoming film “Takers,” in which T.I. stars alongside Chris Brown and Matt Dillon. A representative from the rapper’s label, Atlantic, was unable to confirm this as of press time. A more aggressive T.I. can be heard on “Yeah Ya Know (Takers)” — a harder posture than the one he takes on his previous King Uncaged effort, “I’m Back,” which marked the Atlanta MC’s first output since his federal imprisonment ended earlier this year. T.I. shouts during the song’s spoken outro, “Prison ain’t change me, it made me worse. Right, ‘Pac? If I want it, I’ma come get it. I ain’t asking for it — I’mma take it. We takers.” On the chorus, he references his drug-dealing past and the transition to becoming a superstar lyricist. “I went from rolling with the rocks on the block,” T.I. raps. “To controlling my position at the top of every chart, and I will not stop/ Then we ride, then we roll, then you stop, and we go, yeah ya know.” The charismatic MC has kept a low profile since he finished serving out his post-jail sentence in a halfway house. He released “I’m Back” and later appeared with CNN’s Larry King for his first interview, telling the legendary host “depression and paranoia” led to his arrest. “It came from an attempt that was made on my life,” Tip explained. “My best friend [Philant Johnson] had died in my arms. It caused a state of depression and paranoia. My judgment was jaded, and I felt my life was in danger. … At the time, when I felt the need to have these [weapons], I never took into consideration the legalities; I only took into consideration the protection of my life and family.” On Monday, T.I. is also slated to post an interview on his website that was conducted by Jamie Foxx. His album is due August 17. Are you excited to hear new T.I. music? Let us know in the comments! Related Artists T.I.

Justin Bieber Performs ‘U Smile’/ ‘Baby’ Medley On ‘American Idol’

He even showed off his drumming skills during the performance. By Kelley L. Carter Justin Bieber Performs On ‘Idol’ May 19 Photo: FOX His perfectly coifed bangs were styled in the signature side sweep, and as soon as the stage lights shined down on him, the girls went wild. Everyone in the audience at Wednesday night’s (May 19) “American Idol” definitely came down with Bieber fever. Host Ryan Seacrest called him an overnight superstar, a title that the crowd — judging by their shrill screams — seemed to find fitting. Bieber performed right before it was revealed which two singers would duke it out during next week’s finale. He opened with his single “U Smile,” the track he told MTV News felt had just the right vibe to include on his sophomore album, a follow-up to 2009’s My World. Clearly, he was right; it was difficult to find an audience member who wasn’t mouthing all the lyrics. He then launched into the song that helped put him on the map, “Baby,” and at times showed off his moves alongside his backup dancers. At one point during the song, he jumped behind a drum set (he also plays the piano, guitar and trumpet) and banged out the rhythm, which naturally delighted his onslaught of cheering fans. The quick set ended with the 16-year-old flashing a full smile at the camera and a soundtrack of his adoring fans screaming. Judging by the chants and closing applause, Seacrest may have been on to something when MTV News caught up with him this past weekend. At KIIS-FM’s annual Wango Tango festival, the host jokingly revealed his pick to replace judge Simon Cowell, who is departing to head up the American version of talent show “The X Factor.” “Who would I want in that chair?” Seacrest wondered aloud. “I would want a much younger, thinner, more charming Simon. … Bieber — he’s the guy!” What did you think of Justin Bieber’s “Idol” performance? Should he take over for Simon? Let us know in the comments! Get your “Idol” fix on MTV News’ “American Idol” page , where you’ll find all the latest news, interviews and opinions. The Who Rock Super Bowl Halftime With Explosive Set

Medley includes ‘Pinball Wizard,’ ‘Baba O’Riley,’ ‘Won’t Get Fooled Again’ and more. By James Montgomery The Who’s Roger Daltry and Pate Townshed Photo: Win McNamee/ Getty Images The first half of Super Bowl XLIV might not have provided the offensive fireworks many had expected, but luckily for pyrotechnics obsessives, there was still the half-time show, featuring a bombastic set by the Who . On Sunday night (February 7), the London legends brought out the big guns, ripping through a hit-filled set and leaving the skies over Miami’s Sun Life Stadium filled with smoke. Opening with “Pinball Wizard,” Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend traded verses while flashbulbs popped and flames leapt, the stage — a star-bursting L.E.D. number — shining brightly. They segued right into “Baba O’Riley,” with the song’s famed opening strains echoing around the stadium. Green lasers criss-crossed the night sky, as Townshend windmilled like crazy, then pulled a solo out of his red Fender guitar. (Vegas oddsmakers put the over/under on windmills at 4.5. Hope you took the over.) Daltrey belted the tune out, and contributed a smoking harmonica solo of his own. “Who Are You” was next and featured the band’s famed red, white and blue mod logo spinning around the stage, and another incendiary solo from Townshend. Then came a few verses of “Tommy,” the stadium bathed in cool blue lights as Daltrey sang, “See me, feel me, touch me.” And since this year’s Super Bowl was being held in Miami (home of a “CSI” franchise), the Who wrapped with the show’s theme song, “Won’t Get Fooled Again,” featuring even more lasers, flames and — during the song’s epic drum fill — some serious fireworks. (Sadly, David Caruso didn’t make an appearance.) Daltrey yowled his famous “Yeaaaaaah!” and the sky erupted in even more pyrotechnics. Then, as the Super Bowl crowd cheered wildly, Daltrey and Townshed embraced, and it was all over, except for the smoke. There was still plenty of that. Related Artists The Who

Amy Winehouse: Alive, Performing at V Festival!

You can’t take for granted the fact that Amy Winehouse makes it through the weekend, so it bears mentioning. You also can’t ever believe the songbird will actually show up for a planned live appearance, so this is truly a day to remember! The former bride of Blake Fielder-Civil appeared at yesterday’s V Festival in England during The Specials’ set, singing with them on “You’re Wondering Now.” We don’t know what to say. While by no means good, she appeasr more or less lucid during the song, energetic and happy to be up there singing on stage.
