Rumors are swirling that after yet anther sold-out appearance on his PARTYNEXTDOOR LIVE tour, unknown assailants pulled up next to the OvO artist’s tour bus and opened fire. An alleged eyewitness who didn’t want to reveal his identity called VLADTV to break down exactly how PND’s tour bus and a car full of women trailing behind it were shot up in front of the Atlanta concert venue he performed at on Sunday night. But is all of this just idle chatter? No pics have popped up, no other eyewitness accounts have been reported, and no one has been reported injured that we can tell. Plus, neither PartyNextDoor nor anyone from his camp have commented on the alleged incident. Over at The Source , they went a step further and contacted the Atlanta PD to find out what happened. But still came up empty: When we reached out to a police precinct in Zone 5 of Atlanta where Center Stage, the venue PND played Friday night, is located, they claimed to have no knowledge of any incident involving the venue, PARTYNEXTDOOR, or a nearby shooting, but directed us to their Public Affairs wing for a better assessment. Our calls to Public Affairs were not returned. The OVO Sound singer/producer has yet to comment, and hasn’t tweeted in about 48 hours. No one else from the OVO camp has spoken on the alleged incident. That sounds like some pretty close-range shooting for no one to have gotten hurt…and he has an appearance in Norfolk, VA on Tuesday. Red carpet reporter Giuliana Rancic wants newly-hired colleague Maria Menounos out of the picture over on E! News, according to new reports. Why does she allegedly care? And will she be successful? Rancic, 40, and Menounos, 36, have both interviewed so many famous faces over the years that they have become stars themselves in their own right. Perhaps for this reason, there’s a bit of a turf war in effect. According to an industry insider close to the celebrity gossip and news network, “Giuliana feels like Maria is stealing her show and she is terrified.” As a result, “She wants Maria out,” a source told In Touch . “Giuliana feels threatened by Maria” because of her contract, which “includes Live From E!, as well as stake in the company and her own show.” It didn’t help matters when a scheduling snafu on Rancic’s part left the door open for Maria to step in and host E!’s SAG Awards red carpet coverage. Menounos’ efforts were not that well received, either. “Maria royally messed up at the SAG’s when she was taking over for Giuliana and she got heat for it,” the source says of her lackluster performance. “Maria chalked it up to the fact that she was so nervous and the network sided with her, which pissed off Giuliana even more,” the insider continues. While “E! understands that this was a one-time mess-up because Maria is such a seasoned pro at this,” some think Rancic might be first to go. “Honestly, people that work at E! think that Giuliana really needs to step aside,” continues the supposed network source. “She is tired and it shows.” You buying it? NeNe wept … Kathy Griffin Will Take Over As Host Of ‘Fashion Police’ Looks like the late Joan Rivers’ fashion judgment shoes have finally been filled by another rude and raunchy comedienne . Via PageSix : Kathy Griffin is about to fill some very big — and stylish — shoes. The comedian will helm E!’s “Fashion Police” in the wake of Joan Rivers‘ death, TMZ reports. Sources connected with the show say the hiring is a “done deal.” Earlier this month, Griffin confirmed she was offered the gig, but told “Access Hollywood,” “I don’t know if the situation is correct at this time for me or right for me at this time.” According to TMZ, the fashion critique show will axe its weekly format when it returns to the airwaves. Instead, it will only air during awards shows and other special events. The 54-year-old will join co-hosts Kelly Osbourne and Giuliana Rancic, as well as Joan’s daughter, Melissa Rivers, the website reports. George Kotsiopoulos’ role on the show is not yet known. A rep for E! told Page Six, “At this point, talks are continuing and we have nothing to confirm.” Hmmm…her style of humor is pretty loud and offensive, much like Joan’s was. Rich Wilkerson Jr. is getting his own reality show. Who?!?? you may be wondering. Why, Rich Wilkerson Jr., of course, the pastor who officiated the Kim Kardashian and Kanye West wedding in May. Wilkerson and his wife, DawnCheré (that’s reportedly her name) will anchor an upcoming Oxygen series that centers on their “modern approach to preaching,” according to E! News. It will be titled The Wilkersons and it will executive produced Giuliana Rancic and Jason Kennedy! “Producing this show has been a dream of mine, I’m thrilled that Oxygen has given us this platform,” Kennedy tells E! News. “Rich and DawnCheré are some of the most fascinating people I’ve ever been around. I can’t believe we get to finally share their story with the world. Wilkerson, 30, serves as an associate pastor at the non-denominational Trinity Church in Miami. The late comedy legend’s daughter made the comment during her first public appearance since her mother’s death, in E!’s Fashion Police: Celebrating Joan special, airing Friday night. “She affected so many people, and people you would never expect to have humor,” Melissa explains, alongside Kelly Osbourne, Giuliana Rancic and George Kotsiopoulos. “I received a letter from the White House, President Obama, someone who was often a target of her jokes, as was Mrs. Obama, but I received a handwritten note, saying, ‘Not only did she make us laugh, she made us think.’ “ Osbourne added, “If it wasn’t for your mother, I wouldn’t be able to be me. My mother wouldn’t be able to be her. The writing was on the wall Joan Rivers Pronounced Dead At Mt Sinai Hospital Via Variety Raunchy, gravelly-voiced and self-deprecating comedian Joan Rivers, who rose from Greenwich Village standup to occasional host of “The Tonight Show” and star of TV’s “Fashion Police,” died Thursday after going into cardiac arrest during a medical procedure on Sept. 3. She was 81. “She passed peacefully at 1:17pm surrounded by family and close friends,” her daughter, Melissa, said in a statement. “My mother’s greatest joy in life was to make people laugh. Although that is difficult to do right now, I know her final wish would be that we return to laughing soon.” Rivers had been admitted to New York’s Mt. Sinai hospital after she stopped breathing during a procedure on her vocal cords at a New York Clinic, and was placed in a medically-induced coma to assess her condition. A petite blonde firebrand, the always-wry Rivers, known for the catchphrase “Can we talk?,” was a pioneering confessional female comic, lampooning her personal life (her parents, her marriage, her plastic surgery) on TV and in clubs for more than five decades. Whatever the gig — permanent replacement host on “The Tonight Show,” co-host of “Fashion Police,” her own varied syndicated talkshows, Vegas engagements, bestselling nonfiction books, often biting commentator on awards’ show arrivals along with daughter Melissa and even QVC saleswoman — the petite, feisty Rivers was never far out of the spotlight. Her biting comedy, ability to ad-lib effortlessly in any situation and sheer moxie endeared her to generations of television viewers. She was the ultimate yenta, the quintessential kibbitzer — a talent exemplified in her scathing commentary on E!’s “Fashion Police.” Rivers started co-hosting the show in 2010 along with Giuliana Rancic, Kelly Osbourne and George Kotsiopoulos.
