MTV Apologizes For Racist Eva Longoria-America Ferrera Tweet

There was plenty of controversy to be stirred by the 2016 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday night. Eva Longoria and America Ferrera Present at the Golden Globes Like when Ricky Gervais confronted Mel Gibson about that whole “sugar tits” thing. Or when Leonardo DiCaprio possibly threw some shade at Lady Gaga . Or, heck, pretty much any time Gervais opened his mouth during his opening monlogue. At one point during the ceremony, meanwhile, MTV Australia decided to get in on the scandalous act. It all started when Eva Longoria and America Ferrera came out to present the award for Best TV Actor in a Drama. The actresses engaged in a very well-received bit about Latina stereotypes, an exchange likely inspired by the Golden Globes’ own mistake when the show’s Twitter account referred to Ferrera as “Gina Rodriguez” when she announced the nominations back in November. We have no idea what @AmericaFerrera and @EvaLongoria are saying #GoldenGlobes.” The backlash came quickly and strongly, with MTV deleting the message and then offering up the following apology: “Our Tweet was in reference to @EvaLongoria & @AmericaFerrera’s #GoldenGlobes joke. We sincerely apologise for causing offence. “We get it was a bad call. We’ll leave the humour to @rickygervais.” It’s like they always say: you can joke about almost anything. Whether you watched the 2016 Golden Globes ceremony last night, or just caught the highlights online this morning, there’s likely one moment that made you laugh a hell of a lot more than Best Comedy winner, The Martian . Yes, we’re talking about Lady Gaga bumping into Leonardo DiCaprio on her way to accept the prize for Best Actress in a Limited Series or TV Movie. Leo dismissed the speculation about his over-the-shoulder glance during a post-show press conference, telling reporters, “I just didn’t know what was passing me.” Now, Radar Online is reporting that the WTF? look that Leo shot Gaga as she walked past him was not just a moment of confusion, but was instead one of many acts of passive-aggressive hostility that took place that night.  “Leonardo was talking sh-t about her even before the show started because he did not think she deserved to be nominated,” says an insider close to the situation . “It got back to her obviously.” The source states that he believes Gaga intentionally bumped into Leo in order to send him a subtle message about his behavior: “She would have ignored it, but when her name was announced as the winner, Leo was laughing so loud that people far away from his table heard it. He was making a total scene.” Apparently that scene didn’t go unnoticed by Gaga’s fiance, Taylor Kinney: View Slideshow: Golden Globe Awards 2016: The Best Moments in GIFs! “Taylor was not going to let anyone make fun of his future wife, even if they are an A-list actor,” says the source. “It was her moment to shine and she worked very hard for that award. “He basically told him in a non-confrontational sort of way that he should apologize to her because it was flat out rude and extremely unprofessional.” The insider adds that DiCaprio reluctantly apologized and offered his congrats in order to avoid a scene. We’re not sure how much of this story we believe, but if it’s true, they should really make a movie based on this year’s Golden Globes.  It would totally sweep next year’s Golden Globes. Kourtney Kardashian Explains Best Way to Eat a Kit Kat

Kourtney Kardashian has taken a break from possibly hooking up with Justin Bieber and definitely moving on from Scott Disick . She has something far more important to now focus on. The reality star is here to breakdown the proper way to eat a Kit Kat bat. We're not kidding. In the latest video posted to her official website, Kourtney says she's ready to rock your world, to “show you guys something that [ Kim Kardashian West] taught me – I think we were like 7 or 8.” Okay. So here goes: First, you break off one piece of the bar. From that one piece, you eat only the chocolate off each end. It is ESSENTIAL that you do NOT bite the wafer center. Not yet. From there Kardashian advises fans to eat only the chocolate down the sides of the bar. After devouring the delicious sides, you then remove the top layer, and, then, after that and after that only, the bottom piece. Finally, you are left with “the best part,” that yummy crunchy center. Why did Kourtney feel the need to share this with fans? Because it tastes better, she says, and because it “makes you eat less because you're eating it so slow.” Perhaps she also thought more people would pay for access to her website if they saw her slowing sucking on something long and hard. Just a thought.

Corinne Foxx Named Miss Golden Globe Jamie Foxx’s daughter, Corinne Foxx has just been named Miss Golden Globe. The honor, given to the daughters of Hollywood heavy hitters, essentially consists of guiding guests off the stage once they have received their award honors. HFPA President Lorenzo Soria made the announcement at the first Golden Globe party for the 2016 season. “We are delighted to have Corinne Foxx continue the tradition and have her as our 2016 Miss Golden Globe,” he said. “Like her father, she leads a fine example of following her dreams and we can’t wait to see what she does next.” And Corinne was excited to accept the honor. “Throughout the years I’ve grown up watching my dad establish himself as a well-respected actor,” said Foxx. “I’m honored that HFPA has given me the opportunity to now share the same stage where he’s been recognized for some of his greatest accomplishments.” Good for her! Gather 'round, children, and we'll you tell the tale of one of the dumbest, nakedest feuds the Internet has ever known. It all started when Kylie Jenner started dating Tyga way back in the year of our Lord Disick 2014. This angered the booty-tastic baby mama known as Blac Chyna, who rightfully felt betrayed when her fiance dumped her for a wealthy high school kid. In the months since, Kylie and Blac have taken shots at each other on social media, and we've been front and center, enjoying the whole thing with popcorn in hand. Maybe the beef will fizzle out soon. More likely, things will get even worse now that Kylie is 18. Either way, here's your rundown of how it's all unfolded thus far: 1. Kim Kardashian and Blac Chyna: Former Besties! Believe it or not, there was a time when Kim Kardashian and Blac Chyna were BFFS. Oh, how times have changed. Things started to go awry when… 2. Tyga Dumped Blac Chyna They were engaged! They had a kid together! What happened?! Oh, that’s right… 3. Tyga Started Dating Kylie Less than a month after he broke up with Blac, Tyga began dating dating Kylie. Of course, he denied it, because she had just turned 17 at the time, and prison is rough on pedos. 4. The Shade Begins Kylie posted a photo of herself wearing an Audemar Piguet watch that was identical to one that Tyga had given Blac. The implied diss (“I stole your man AND your watch!”) was not lost on Blac. 5. Blac Returns Fire! Not only did Blac respond by posting a throwback pic of herself with Tyga, she made sure to dangle her own Piguet timepiece out her car window the next time she encountered some paprazzi. The message? “You can have the man, b–ch! I still got the bling!” 6. Blac Takes the Kylie Lip Challenge There was a time when dumb teens were doing horrendous things to swell up their mouths and calling it “The Kylie jenner Lip Challenge.” Blac mocked the trend – and Kylie herself – with the above pic.
