Delusional 1 & 2: Shamari And Ronnie DeVoe Are Already ANNOYING #RHOA Fans Over This…

Source: Earl Gibson III / Getty Ronnie DeVoe & Shamari DeVoe’s #RHOA Debut Was A Viewer Disaster Things got awkward last night on the “Real Housewives Of Atlanta” for folks watching the DeVoes. They made their introduction on the reality show and viewers didn’t warm up to their personalities at all! The issue was that Shamari and Ronnie are everything but humble when it comes to their accomplishments. So conceited, Shamaria and Ronnie showed themselves recording a “Jay-Z and Beyonce” style album. Shamari also told everyone that her group Blaque is on the same level as Xscape, and then Ronnie handed out some unsolicited performance advice to Kandi — the woman who BOOKED him and his buddies to open for her group on tour this year! Ronnie had one word of advice for Kandi, “placement.” Look at the “placement” of everyone’s body language in the clip, they are over him! Fans watching the show went IN on the DeVoes and their delusions of grandeur… Lolol who casted the Devoe’s? Bc I have some questions. #RHOA pic.twitter.com/yHKdJtu2iJ — Jas (@withloveamina) November 19, 2018 Hit the flip to see how folks roasted Shamari and Ronnie for displaying their delusion all over television.

Congratulations! Gabrielle Union & Dwyane Wade Welcome Baby Girl Via Surrogate

Axelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic Gabrielle Union & Dwyane Wade Welcome Baby Via Surrogate Gabrielle Union is a mom! The actress, 46, posted pictures today of herself holding her baby girl that she and Dwyane Wade welcomed via surrogate. “We are sleepless and delirious but so excited to share that our miracle baby arrived last night via surrogate and 11/7 will forever be etched in our hearts as the most loveliest of all the lovely days,” Gabby wrote on Instagram. “Welcome to the party sweet girl! #onelastdance #skintoskin @dwyanewade .” This is BIG news for Gabby. Back in 2017, she wrote in her book “We’re Going to Need More Wine” that she’s suffered multiple miscarriages and failed IVF treatments. “I have had eight or nine miscarriages,” wrote Gabby. “For three years, my body has been a prisoner of trying to get pregnant — I’ve either been about to go into an IVF cycle, in the middle of an IVF cycle, or coming out of an IVF cycle.” Photographer Group / Splash News Congrats Gabby!

The Walking Dead Recap: Who Died?

The Walking Dead returned to AMC with a lot of surprises for longtime fans of the series.  There was a time jump, two deaths, a proposal, blindsides and a whole lot of zombie action.  The episode kicked off with a cute scene between Judith, Rick, and Michonne, showing that Alexandria really did manage to weather the storm.  It was rising up thanks to the leadership in Rick, but there was a new mission for him and his allies to work on: They embarked on a trip to Washington D.C. to garner supplies, but these weren’t the usual supplies these zombie slayers usually pick up.  These ones would allow them to create transport that would not really on gas. Instead, they would rely on horses and a whole lot of manpower.  That’s why the gang made their way to the Museum of Natural History because that was the best place to get some equipment to make carriages for the horses.  What followed was a tense scene as the group worked in tandem to get a carriage down a set of stairs and across a large room without making a noise.  There were walkers right below them, and what made it even scarier was that it was a glass floor separating them.  In a somewhat predictable chain of events, the ceiling gave way, and Ezekiel fell down. Thankfully there was a bit of rope that kept him dangling just long enough for his pals to save him.  The first death of the hour came when the group was on the way back with the supplies. Walkers appeared from every direction.  Ken did not want to see the horse die, so he quickly tried to slice the shackles to save it, but he gave up his own life in the process.  One of the walkers feasted on his arm, and that was the end of him. His mother and father blamed Maggie for taking their son out to find supplies.  Gregory was on hand to turn them against Maggie because that’s what the loser does. He always pops up to cause some drama.  He successfully managed to get the boy’s father to try and murder Maggie as she was doing a midnight patrol around the Hilltop.  Maggie was saved in the nick of time and went straight for Gregory’s place. The villain laughed at the very notion of trying to kill here before attempting to stab her on the spot.  Maggie overpowered him and decided to call a town meeting. That involved bringing Rick over from Alexandria.  Rick pleaded with Maggie to offer some assistance to the Saviors, but she was against it. If you watch The Walking Dead online , you will recall that she wanted Negan dead, but Rick saved him.  Maggie offered a deal to Rick: She will offer food and resources to the Saviors, but they will be the ones to build the bridge and provide most of the labor.  Maggie then said that she was supposed to be in control of everything and that Rick was still grating on her nerves.  She had a point, and Rick was genuinely blindsided by it.  Maggie then executed Gregory, saying that everyone knows there are rules and she will inflict them on people if she so desires.  Elsewhere, Daryl was freaking out when someone started writing “We are still Negan” on the walls of the Sanctuary.  He confronted Rick about not wanting to work there anymore, but Rick said that someone else would have to take his place.  Carol overheard the conversation and agreed to take over from her friend, so he had a break to get it together.  We also learned that Carol and Ezekiel’s relationship was going from strength to strength. Ezekial even tried to propose marriage to Carol.  She declined, and we’re left to wonder why.  What did you think of the premiere?  Are you on board?  Hit the comments below.  View Slideshow: The Walking Dead Season 9: What’s About to Go Down?

‘Basketball Wives’ Recap: Tami And Jennifer Get Called Out For Their Failed Villainy

Source: Michael Buckner / Getty Tonight’s episode Basketball Wives picks up from the Jennifer spreading rumors about Evelyn to be spiteful saga. We’re still at Tammi’s “cleansing” where the rumor was brought up. Jennifer is trying to cover herself by trying to make it look like she just casually heard the rumor but never said where she heard it. Shaunie is obviously irritated and expresses that she wishes Jennifer would own her ish, but look who we’re dealing with. Accountability might not ever come. Jennifer even tries to deflect from her transgressions by saying that Tami is just trying to start drama anyway, which is actually true. But let Tami tell it, she’s just trying to be positive and work on herself. via GIPHY Shaunie and Evelyn step away to talk alone. Evelyn makes a tearful plea claiming that she didn’t do this. Shaunie is really considering cutting everyone off and doesn’t know who to trust. Evelyn seems genuine in that she didn’t do it and it seems like Shaunie believes her. They both also feel like Tami did this to start some mess and Shaunie sums it up well: “There’s some evil ass people in this circle, and from now on I will deal with them accordingly.” Shaunie meets up with Tami to get her side of the story because she really feels like Tami did this to be messy. Tami was being messy but she does have receipts, in the form of text messages, that shows that Jennifer was trying to take Evelyn down. Shaunie meets back up with Evelyn on another day and by this time Shaunie has spoken to her ex. The ex in question also denies sleeping with Evelyn (they probably can’t say the ex’s name for legal reasons). Shaunie then explains the texts Tami showed her. All of this happened with Jennifer and Evelyn were in the middle of their falling out. Again, Jennifer heard the rumor and presented it to as many people as possible hoping that someone would tell Shaunie. But, the women who heard it aka Jackie and Malaysia just kept it to themselves because they didn’t want to be messy, for once, because they realized the gravity of how hurtful the rumor would be to Evelyn and Shaunie. Evelyn says she understands Jennifer’s anger and that she’s more upset at Tami for entertaining it. Shaunie says Jennifer never should have never repeated it to anyone in the first place. Both women are making valid points here, but of course, Shaunie wants to bring the group together again to “get to the bottom of things.” You know how she do… via GIPHY Now it’s time for another group ponderosa. By this point, Jennifer realizes that she should just come clean and apologizes to Shaunie because “it wasn’t her intention” to hurt her . Shaunie accepts Jennifer’s apology but she’s still cool on Jen because what she did was so malicious that “now she knows that type of evil is inside her” and she doesn’t even really want to be around Jen anymore. Dramatic much? Let’s not act like this show hasn’t thrived on Mean Girl, narcissistic behavior. Shaunie must have thought she was untouchable from the shadiness with that producer credit. Not with these narcissists clamoring for reality TV infamy. via GIPHY Jen still doesn’t really seem to think that what she did was that wrong despite apologizing, but she did admit that she repeated it to Tami, etc with the intentions of taking Evelyn down. One of the text messages actually said, “Let’s take that bitch down.” But Tami is still getting the side eye for her “cleansing” so she attempts to try to make herself look better by claiming it’s not fair to make her look like she’s trifling too because he had the best of intentions, was trying to be a friend, yatta yatta. This is classic nice nasty church lady bs. You know, the people who are always talking about self-improvement and being positive but do the most negative things. Evelyn is superheated and calls Tami out on her BS, saying that if she was a real friend then she wouldn’t have organized that setup. They go back and forth for a bit and then Tami makes the ultimate low blow. She says that Evelyn lied on Chad, “because she was hitting him too,” and tried to ruin his life. Basically, Tami is trying to frame Evelyn someone who destroyed an “innocent” man’s career. Way to work on yourself, Tami! via GIPHY Even Shaunie is “appalled” by Trash Tam. But Shaunie likes to feign surprise. Tami has been this way since she began appearing on the show. Whatevs. Good TV, I guess. This is trash though. However, it does confirm Evelyn’s theory that Tami was being vindictive and evil the entire time. Basketball Wolves. Back at it next week. Princeton Students Walk Out Of Anthropology Class After White Professor Repeatedly Uses N-Word

Loop Images/UIG via Getty Images White Princeton Professor Unapologetic After Upsetting Students By Using Racial Slur Princeton University made headlines this week after several students stormed out of an anthropology lecture Tuesday after their MacArthur and Guggenheim Fellowship-winning professor used the N-word repeatedly . The Daily Princetonian reports that several students said their anthropology professor Lawrence Rosen asked the class, “What is worse, a white man punching a black man, or a white man calling a black man a n****r.” The lecture focused on oppressive symbolism. “He was describing what is acceptable as free speech and what is not,” explained Devyn Holliday ’18 in an interview with The Daily Princetonian. According to students, Rosen continued the discussion and allegedly said the word “n****r” twice more after the original question. “All the black students were looking at each other, as if asking whether he actually said that,” said Destiny Salter ’20. There were about six black students in the lecture, Holliday said. According to Holliday, E Jeremijenko-Conley ’20, who identifies as white, responded to Rosen by saying, “I’m not comfortable with a white professor using the N-word.” Holliday told the ‘Prince’ that Malachi Byrd ’19 allegedly asked Rosen, “So are you just going to keep using the N-word?” According to Salter, Rosen allegedly responded, “Yes, if I think it’s necessary.” After this, Byrd walked out of lecture. Later on, three more students also walked out, according to Jeremijenko-Conley. Holliday says Rosen refused to address the students’ concerns and allegedly defended his use of the word by saying, “It’s supposed to deliver a gut punch so that’s why I used it.” “Every single time he used the N-word, he used the word in its entirety,” said Salter. “He said ‘you need to suspend your disbelief for the sake of this class.’” Byrd eventually re-entered the hall and asked if the professor would continue to use the word n****r in lecture. Students began to argue with Rosen, demanding he apologize. Holliday and Salter both said that the students argued with Rosen for the duration of lecture, because he would not give an apology. According to Salter, Rosen allegedly said in the class, “I don’t think I need to apologize; I did not oppress anyone.” Holliday expressed concern that before changing the topic of the lecture to pornograhic images, he said to students, “I’m going to give you the option of whether you’d like to see them.” However, this option was not provided before Rosen said the N-word, according to Holliday. Jeremijenko-Conley and Salter told the Daily Princetonian they filed a complaint with Justine Levine, director of studies for Rockefeller College and she said in an email that she would work with students to resolve the issue. At least one student, Kevin Ramos ’21 said he plans to drop the class following the incident. “The professor saw how uncomfortable the students were with his language,” said Ramos. “If he doesn’t respect the students’ opinion, then it’s not worth learning from him.” There’s more though. Princeton spokesperson Michael Hotchkiss said in a statement to the Daily News that “the values of free speech and inclusivity are central to Princeton University’s mission and critical to the education we provide to our students,” including Rosen’s class. “The conversations and disagreements that took place in the seminar led by Professor Rosen on Tuesday afternoon are part of the vigorous engagement and robust debate that are central to what we do,” Hotchkiss said. He added that the university is in the process of setting up a meeting with the students. The chair of the Anthropology Department wrote a letter in support of Rosen to the Daily Princetonian. It’s actually a really good letter that makes a strong argument for why Rosen used the language he did and it notes that students did not react the same way they have in previous years. Carolyn Rouse wrote: Our goal is to get students to move beyond their common sense to see how culture has shaped their beliefs and emotions. If our students leave our classes knowing exactly what they knew when they entered, then we didn’t do our jobs. Rosen has used the same example year after year. This is the first year he got the response he did from the students. This is diagnostic of the level of overt anti-black racism in the country today. Anti-American and anti-Semitic examples did not upset the students, but an example of racism did. This did not happen when Obama was president, when the example seemed less real and seemed to have less power. I feel bad for the students who left the class not trusting the process. Rosen was fighting battles for women, Native Americans, and African-Americans before these students were born. He grew up a Jew in anti-Semitic America, and recognizes how law has afforded him rights he would not otherwise have. Do you think that we’ve all become more hyper sensitive under 45? Or is Rosen at fault for not properly explaining why he used the word he did? Continue reading

Bye Kandi! 3 Xscape Members Drop Hesitant Harmonizer, Sign Trio Deal & Change Group Name To THIS…

Peter Kramer/Bravo/NBCU Photo Bank via Getty Images   Xscape Becomes A Trio, Makes A Name Change The three members committed to making a successful Xscape comeback have finally made their trio official by cutting Kandi out the group and debuting a new name. Tiny, La Tocha and Tamika are now going by the name Xscap3 (peep the ‘3’) according to Madame Noire . Previously, Kandi expressed doubt in recording a new album with her group members, kindly declining to take part in their recent recording sessions. She felt the ladies and lack of chemistry would ruin the groups legacy they built in the 90’s. Good news for the committed ladies, they’ve landed a deal with CAA for worldwide representation in all areas. The new album, titled  Here For It , set to hit shelves on March 3. It will be released through their own record label, XSCAP3 Entertainment. Congratulations ladies! Continue reading
