New York City Fashion Week kicked off last night, and while a lot of talk in the next few days may center on new trends and the hot designers behind them, expect to also hear a lot about Andrej Pejic . This 20-year old is expected to walk the runway as both a man and a woman, something the model also followed through with last year during Paris Fashion Week, actually making his androgynous look something of a trend. Pejic, after all, covered 14 magazines in 2011. “He’s just this beautiful thing that everyone wants a piece of,” stylist Ken Anderson told The Associated Press of the 6’1″ star, who wears a size two or four in women’s clothing. This one sounds interesting: Chelsea Handler lived up to her party-girl reputation at a summer bash for her hotelier boyfriend, Andre Balazs, when she was escorted out of the men’s bathroom at the Frying Pan by bar security. Handler attended the party for Standard Hotel employees on the restored boat in the Hudson River, docked north of Chelsea Piers, with Balazs on Monday. But sources at the event say a bouncer caught her and “a dude with gold shoes” in a stall in the men’s bathroom and ushered them both out. A spy said Handler started her night out with vodka on the rocks and was “totally cool and unassuming.” But things apparently got wilder later in the evening. Balazs, who has also been linked to Uma Thurman, Renée Zellweger and Naomi Campbell, has a thing for bad girls, and romanced rocker Courtney Love before hooking up with Handler. Handler’s rep, Stephen Huvane, who initially denied that Handler attended the Balazs party even though she was pictured there, said, “She was at the employee party but not at the Standard. She was not kicked out of the men’s room — that is a fabrication.” LMAO at the dude rockin gold shoes. It doesn’t get any better than that. Source

Rosie the Robot? It was too her great surprise that racktastic and rumpalicious UK model Rosie Huntington-Whitele y learned that she was going to be replacing notorious skin-flint Megan Fox in the upcoming summer action flick Transformers 3 . Megan’s obstinate refusal to flash flesh (probably not even for her gynecologist) has sent her acting career into a freefall at terminal velocity and got her kicked off the big-budget sure-to-be-blockbuster last year. But this news escaped Rosie’s attention. And went she went to audition for a part in Transformers 3 , she thought she was replacing Megatron, not Megan Fox. So when she was called in by producers to see if she was hotter than Fox and showed up doing her best impression of a giant space robot, she understandably got a distorted picture of the audition. “I went to the casting unaware they were looking for a new female lead. We were told it was for a ‘nemesis’ role. I left thinking I was awful. The next day I was offered the lead! I met Shia Lebeouf that evening and within three weeks I was shooting my first scenes.” The only way this story could have ended any better is if she said she were shooting 3-D full-frontal scenes like Charlotte Ross in Drive Angry or Betsy Rue in My Bloody Valentine . That truly would be trance-forming. And tent-in-the-pants-forming.

Wow this sounds “interesting”: Comedian, TV host…man-eater? A source tells the new issue of Us Weekly (on stands now) that Chelsea Handler dumped 50 Cent just before the holidays, leaving the 35-year-old rapper “heartbroken.” Determined to win her back, 50 Cent — who was first spotted canoodling with the Chelsea Lately host in October — “spent Christmas sending her gifts, but she sent them back. She put a note on one that said, ‘I can buy my own gifts.’” Though both Handler, 35, and 50 Cent recently attended the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, a reconciliation was the last thing on the Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang author’s mind. According to an eyewitness, Handler had already set her sights on Uma Thurman’s ex, hotelier Andre Balazs, 54. “They snuck kisses” at Bing Bar on January 22, the source says of the two. Handler and Balazs were later spotted partying at Tao before leaving together at 2:30 a.m. “Chelsea and Andre are dating,” a Handler pal confirms to Us. “He’s exactly her type.” SMH at Bugsy always falling for the “manly” broads. Though she’s been linked to 50 Cent since early October, the 35-year-old comedienne seemed surprised when UsMagazine.com asked her about their fledgling romance at Wednesday’s Comcast TCA cocktail reception in Pasadena, Calif. “People still think we’re dating? No! Really?” she asked Us. “He’s sweet, though. I love him, but we’re not dating.” Not that Handler hasn’t done her part to fuel relationship rumors: after 50 Cent was spotted hanging out backstage at her Newark, NJ stand-up show, she tweeted a photo of herself in bed with the 35-year-old rapper in December. “I don’t know if I can handle him, to be honest,” she told Us of their unexpected pairing. “I like to have fun and I’m really trying to not get into anything too serious.” SMH. The Ryan Reynolds-Scarlett Johannson divorce just became official. Or at least the paperwork was just filed that WILL make it official before long. Just a few weeks after their separation was announced, Reynolds has begun the process of officially ending his two-year marriage to Johansson. Already separated from Johansson , Reynolds filed for divorce Thursday in Los Angeles Superior Court. Scarlett filed her response simultaneously. Both sides cite December 14 as their date of separation, and neither seeks spousal support in what by all accounts is a mutual, amicable split. Sources believe that the couple simply grew apart under the strain of managing two thriving careers, and are breaking up on pleasant terms. They were married in a private ceremony in Canada in 2008. It’s too bad it didn’t work out, but at least there was no real scandal involved.

Looks like Chelsea Handler isn’t the only person Jennifer Aniston doesn’t want near her. An insider on the set of her new movie describes her “ring of buffers.” “It was an unspoken thing that you couldn’t get within 20 feet of Jen. She surrounded herself with a ring of buffers at all times,” says a Wanderlust source. “She traveled with them from her trailer to the set and back.” Is Jen pulling a diva act on us? Aniston’s rep calls this “false,” and says “Jennifer had a blast filming Wanderlust .” What really happened there? Will she ever stop loving Brad Pitt ? Who’s to say.
