Kelly’s lawyer went on live television and told Good Morning America that the R&B singer had no idea that Aaliyah was 15 years old when he married her because she lied about her age. Now, we didn’t need an investigation for us to know that was a damn lie, but for those of you who steady scream “PROOF!” every time your fave does some nut a$$ s#!t, here ya go. TMZ dug up this clip from a 1994 documentary that R. Kelly was filming. In the video, he mentions Aaliyah and also the fact that she was only 14-years-old at the time. Don’t believe us, just watch. Where the hell did Robert find this hack lawyer? A Crackerjack box?? SMH.

Kelly must be scared as s#!t because according to NYDailyNews , Robert has been suffering panic attacks that sent him to the hospital since Surviving R. Kelly dropped last weekend. On top of that, a Chicago judge granted an emergency motion for the city to enter Robert’s studio to inspect it for potential building code violations. The thought is that he might have converted the space into a residential space without proper permits to house the women he is allegedly keeping. All this happened because of an anonymous call to the city about people possibly living on the property when it has only been zoned for commercial use. It might seem like a small thing but at this point, provided thee isn’t enough evidence to convict him on sex predator charges, it might take things like this to find a way to get him into a courtroom. We can only hope Robert has more and more panic attacks every single day thinking about all the women and children he has scarred with his sick crimes.

Kelly dominated the news and social media conversation this past weekend and a LOT of bozos, losers, apologists, and ashy types out to cape for Robert and shame the victims. Well, let it be known that airing out Robert’s disgusting decades of behavior wasn’t in vain. Not in the least bit. According to TMZ, Fulton County District Attorney’s Office has opened an investigation into sexual abuse claims made by one of the women who managed to escape R. Kelly’s clutches. Sources close to the situation say this new look into R. Kelly’s alleged crimes is directly influenced by doc. Police are reaching out to numerous women who have horror stories about the R&B singer and it is confirmed that they have already spoken to escaped Kelly’ victim Asante McGee. Joceyln Savage’s family is also cooperating with the police. It is said that after Surviving aired, detectives received an overwhelming amount of phone calls with pertinent information. We hope to GOD that something comes of this.
They say that love happens when you least expect it, and that was definitely the case for Jessica Share who recently met her daughter’s biological father and ended up falling in love with him. Share and Aaron Long have been dating for a little over a year now, but their genetics were introduced nearly 13 years ago when Jessica chose him as her sperm donor back in 2005. GMA reports, Long was a sperm donor in the mid-90s, and in 2005, Share selected his sperm to have her daughter with her female partner in Ohio, saying she was initially attracted to his sperm donor profile. Share and her wife split up a couple of years ago, and at around the same time she says her daughter started poking around on the DNA testing site 23 and Me. There, Alice connected with her biological father, who soon began talking to her mother. After Share and Long met, the rest was communal home history. Jessica, Aaron and their daughter Alice all live together in Seattle along with Jessica’s other children. No word on how many of the kids Aaron may be the papi of.

Kitti is one of Kelly’s former girlfriends and recounted the abuse she allegedly suffered during her relationship. We can only hope and pray that R. Kelly is formerly charged and convicted of his many, many *alleged* crimes one day.

According to NY Daily News reports Middle School 118 teacher Patricia Cummings is under fire for her unorthodox teaching methods. Students say about two weeks ago the teacher, who is white, had students in multiple seventh-grade classes lie on the floor as part of a lesson on the Middle Passage, where Africans were kidnapped and brought to America during the slave trade. “It was a lesson about slavery and the Triangle Trade,” said one of Cummings’ students, who asked to remain anonymous. “She picked three of the black kids,” the boy said, and instructed them to get on the floor in front of the class. “She said, ‘You see how it was to be a slave?’ She said, ‘How does it feel?’ ” When a girl on the floor made an uncomfortable joke and said she felt fine, Cummings stepped on her back, the student said. “She put her foot on her back and said ‘How does it feel?’” the student said. “ ‘See how it feels to be a slave?’ ” Cummings was removed from the classroom for several days after the incident, but returned to class and was in school Thursday. Cummings, who makes $68,934 a year, was reassigned away from children later in the day after the Daily News contacted the city Education Department about her controversial lesson. “While the investigation has not been completed, these are deeply disturbing allegations, and the alleged behavior has no place in our schools or in society,” said Education Department spokeswoman Toya Holness. MS 118 Principal Giulia Cox declined to comment. Cummings students say she delivered the lesson after showing a video of slaves being beaten, tortured and thrown over the side of a ship. “She had students lie on the floor,” said another kid who was in one of the lessons. “She was measuring the length and width to show how little space slaves had in the ship. It was strange.” Cummings declined to speak with the NY Daily News when contacted. If your child was one of her students, how would you want the situation handled?

More black girls are scarred for life just as they are coming into their womanhood and sexuality,” said Odeleye in an exclusive interview with theGrio. “There is a pariah in our community that we all know about, yet we all have continued to stand by and do nothing. McKayla Maroney rose to fame in the 2012 London Olympics when she won both gold and silver medals. She also became virally popular when memes of her now-infamous “not impressed” face became everybody’s favorite thing online. Early this morning, McKayla revealed that while she was winning medals and enjoying celebrity, she was suppressing a dark secret.
