The D.A.’s office says that Sandusky will become a Tier 3 sex offender which represents the highest level in the state of Pennsylvania. In other words, he is the creep of all creeps. The creep king. Chicago Girl Killed In Gang Shootout Saves 6 Lives Through Organ Donation At this point there really isn’t a whole lot you can say about the gun violence in Chicago except that it needs to stop. There have been debates, panels, town halls, speeches and still, African-American blood continues to run the streets of one of America’s biggest cities. It isn’t often that we even get a glimpse of a silver lining when it comes to this subject, and we’re not even sure if this particular story can be classified as such. But we were taken aback by a Chicago-Tribune report about the violent death of 11-year-old Takiya Holmes. Takiya was sitting in a family van with her 3-year-old brother when Antwan Jones opened fire at rival gang members across the street. In typical fashion, Antwan didn’t hit a single one of his targets, yet happened to hit Takiya directly in the temple. Shortly after she was unplugged from life support on Tuesday, Takiya’s organs were donated to 6 people, one “distant” family member and 5 other strangers. Seven of Takiya’s organs were donated following her death on Tuesday — to a distant relative and to strangers she had never met. Someone received her heart, her pancreas, her lungs and her kidneys. Two recipients shared her liver. While the family’s generosity will certainly not completely ease the pain of losing their daughter in the first place, they are aware of the joy they have brought to others. “It brings us peace to know that she’s living in someone else,” said Holmes, adding that Takiya’s mother and father eagerly agreed to the transplants. “The fact that she extended another person’s life and helped give them quality of life, we can live with that.” It took a lot of courage by Takiya’s family to share their child with someone else. Minorities, and African-Americans in particular, are not quick to donate organs. Though 20 percent of all transplant recipients are African-American — the overwhelming majority of them kidney recipients — blacks make up only 16 percent of all donors, according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Maxwell Morton Found Guilty After Taking Selfie With Body Of Ryan Mangan Thursday a Pennsylvania jury convicted 18-year-old Maxwell Morton of third-degree murder. You may remember reading about Morton on BOSSIP previously, when we reported how he posed for a selfie with 16-year-old Ryan Mangan in February 2015 as Mangan lay dying from a gunshot wound. Morton testified Thursday that he and Mangan were playing with a handgun that he believed was unloaded when he pointed it at him pulled the trigger. Morton said he planned to kill himself next and only took the selfie to document what had happened. According to Associated Press reports the jury in the case rejected arguments from the prosecution that Morton purposely killed Mangan. Morton also testified that while people think he’s a monster, he’s actually a “chill kind of guy.” Morton could be sentenced to a maximum of 40 years behind bars this May. We’ve done a lot of stories about teachers who have been fired and/or imprisoned for letting their students to smash their curriculum cakes to smithereens or doing porn. However, we’ve never seen a teacher who might actually have a valid reason for her freaky past. According to DallasMorningNews , a Texas teacher might not deserve the pink slip she was unceremoniously handed. Resa Woodward, 38, taught sixth-grade science at an all-girls STEAM academy at Balch Springs Middle School before she was removed from the classroom in November. She was fired after her past in adult films was exposed on social media. She is appealing her termination to the Texas Education Agency. Woodward said a controlling and manipulative man forced her into “sex slavery,” according to her appeal letter to Education Commissioner Mike Morath, released to The Dallas Morning News this week. “Young, stupid and afraid, I complied to avoid his wrath,” she wrote. “Only a woman who has been through such a horrifying experience could fully understand, but I’m asking you to understand and re-consider the terrible charges being brought against me, the victim of an abusive past.” Once Woodward escaped from her toxic relationship she became a teacher in both North Carolina and Florida before moving to Texas and earning her Masters degree. In other words, she’s not some freakazoid whore who might get pregnant when your 12-year-old son shoots her club up. According to NY Daily News reports : Vladimir Krull, a 12-year NYPD veteran assigned to the Midtown North precinct, started his abuse of the teen in September 2013, when he kissed her on the mouth, prosecutors said. The jury found him guilty of having sex with her twice — in her home and in his car — and of making her perform a sex act on him in his car after a June 2014. He faces up to seven years behind bars for each incident, and regardless of his sentence, the felony conviction means he’ll be booted from the police force. Krull was ordered held without bail until he’s sentenced on March 6. The New York Police Department said Mr. Krull had been suspended pending termination since then. He was fired on Monday, according to a spokeswoman for the Bronx district attorney. Crazy story right?
