It sounds like Colt was a huge factor in her misery “You all know how my marriage started, ” Larissa says, referring to how Colt seduced her online but how life with him was nothing like she had expected and how his demeanor was suddenly much less charming — especially when cameras were not rolling. 6. As previously reported rumors swirled that Fetty’s ex-girlfriend Alexis Skyy “lied” about the paternity of her child and her daughter was actually the offspring of her “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood” costar Solo Lucci, who fueled the rumors himself. Alexis was “humiliated” by the rumor and put an end to it by showing the results of a negative paternity test. She captioned the now-deleted post; “I have been humiliated, I have been disrespected, i have been harassed non f—ing stop about not knowing who my child’s father all because of Michael Dorsey AKA Solo Lucci continuing to spread this lie. I’mma always love Lai Lai, I was there when she was born, I was there for her doctor’s appointments, me and her mother fell out but that ain’t got nothing to do with the baby,” said Wap. “When I feel like I want to be there, I’m going to be there. The ladies; Robyn Dixon, Monique Samuels, Karen Huger, Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Boalch Darby, and Candiace Dillard are sitting down with Andy Cohen to hash out their issues after what’s been called their “breakout season.” During the reunion, the hot topic is (of course) Ashley’s hubby Michael Darby who was criminally charged with sexual assault for allegedly grabbing the butt of a crew membe r named Orville Palmer but was CLEARED of the charges due to insufficient evidence. Ashley’s castmates clearly aren’t buying that Michael’s innocent and even their husbands are joining in to express their doubts. Karen Huger’s hubby Ray says flat out that he thinks Michael’s guilty. Not only that, the ladies once again bring up Michael allegedly saying that he’d “suck the d***” of one of their husbands and former friends Monique and Candiace clash. Just a little over two years ago, Zooey Deschanel welcomed baby #2 — now a precious little toddler named Charlie Wolf. She and Jacob Pechenik have been married for four years. Now, the pair of them have split and released a statement. On Friday afternoon, Zooey Deschanel and Jacob Pechenik released a statement to Us Weekly . “After much discussion and a long period of contemplation,” the solemn and very formal statement begins. “We have decided,” they share, that “we are better off as friends, business partners, and co-parents.” “Rather than life partners,” Zooey and Jacob continue. This statement comes from them, but it reads exactly like what a publicist would write. Which may be what happened. Zooey and Jacob may be going their separate ways, but they don’t want anyone getting the idea that this is less than amicable. They’re still a team — but no longer a union. The statement affirms: “We remain committed to our business, our values, and most of all our children.” “Thank you for respecting our privacy at this time,” they conclude. That is a bit of a surprise. Some famous couples break up after weeks or months of rumors. Some split without warning. In 2008, Zooey became engaged to Death Cab For Cutie lead vocalist Ben Gabbard. The two married on September 19, 2009. However, it was not meant to last. On November 1, 2011, they went public with their separation. It wasn’t even two months later that Zooey filed for divorce. The December 27, 2011 filing cited “irreconcilable differences,” which is just legal speak for “nobody tried to kill the other but we’re done being married.” It was nearly a year before that divorce was finalized. Divorce is just a miserable process. Zooey and Jacob began publicly dating in August of 2014. At first, he almost seemed like a rebound for her after her breakup with writer Jamie Linden. On January 17, Jacob proposed to Zooey — and she said yes. This came just days after the couple had announced Zooey’s pregnancy. The 17 is also Zooey’s birthday, making it extra special … and easier to remember for her future husband. (A very pragmatic choice!) The two were married in private (and in secret) in August of 2015. Their daughter, Elsie Otter, was born in July of 2015. Just about two years later, in May of 2017, their son, Charlie Wolf, was welcomed into the world. Elsie is four years old. Charlie is two years old. Zooey also converted to Judaism — Jacob’s religion. Some fans are already clamoring to know if she’ll stick with her soon-to-be-ex husband’s faith, but we recommend giving her some breathing room. This is not Zooey’s first divorce, but divorcing when you share two children is a huge deal. Even when a divorce is totally amicable, deciding upon custody matters can tug at each parent’s heartstrings. Things can get contentious. And let’s not forget that even the most amicable divorces can sometimes turn acrimonious very quickly. Kids are a big deal. Money is a big deal. And sometime the human mind doesn’t know how to feel about someone you once loved unless it’s to hate them. We wish the entire family the best of luck with this difficult transition. Ladies Attend Karen Huger’s Fragrance Launch In Season Finale “Real Housewives of Potomac’s” Gizelle Bryant questions whether frenemy Karen Huger has more than her prototype perfume bottle in our exclusive clip. Bryant’s questions add fuel to long-time speculation from other cast members that the Grand Dame’s perfume line is nothing but smoke and mirrors. Source: Jacopo Raule / Getty Zazie Beetz Speaks On Her “Cat Wash Routine” In Lieu Of Showers If you’ve ever been caught in the middle of a huge crowd at a concert or any other event, you’ve probably never thought to yourself, “these people 3 inches away from me definitely shower too much.” Despite that, Atlanta and Joker star Zazie Beetz thinks that Americans shower too much–which is a routine she admittedly doesn’t subscribe to. In a recent interview with Into The Gloss , the actress gives some insight into why she isn’t a fan of hopping into the shower everyday like the rest of us. “I actually think Americans shower too much. I like a cat wash—I do my face, my armpits, and my… intimates. I’ll use cocoa butter to moisturize. Nostalgic and functional—and it smells wonderful. Sometimes I use Sabon’s body scrub, but most of the time I just make my own with brown sugar and an oil, or brown sugar and honey. That’s quick and easy. I don’t use any perfumes… they’re so expensive. For years, I have been saying that I want a scent, because I love when you smell somebody and think, ‘Ah, you smell like you.’ But I kind of do have a scent—it’s just from the products I use, and not from perfume.” The German-born entertainer also says that she recently decided to transition into a skincare routine using only natural products. Beetz says that the recent environmental crisis inspired her to switch to a beauty regimen that was more sustainable–but she’ll always keep a container of Palmer’s cocoa butter on deck. Zazie also spoke on her daily workout regimen and how it changes depending on what role she’s playing at the time: “When I was Domino in Deadpool , I was on this really intense workout regimen. In the morning I would do two hours of fight training, which was essentially mixed martial arts plus stunt work. Then, in the afternoon, I would do two hours of weightlifting. That was five days a week, four hours a day, for months. I didn’t have much of a workout routine before, and such an abrupt shift was traumatic for my body.” She didn’t say whether or not her showering increased when she was working out for four hours a day, but we can only hope there was more than a “cat wash” happening after those intense sessions. Either way, a lot of the actress’ fans didn’t seem to love the news that she’s not getting clean very often and the idea that Americans “shower too much” isn’t exactly taking off. The Duggar gals are firmly in the spotlight this summer, between Jinger’s rebellious move to LA , and that pile of babies on the way. But we haven’t entirely forgotten about the (admittedly less interesting) Duggar boys. Lately, fans have been wondering why these guys can’t seem to hold down a job unless it’s working for Jim Bob. It’s weird, right? With a family this large, you’d expect its members to have all kinds of careers. Basically, in the Duggar family, the men work, and the women get married and have kids. It’s like a rule, and they’re apparently very into it. It all goes back to the family’s religion. They’re devout followers of the Institute in Basic Life Principles ministry. The Duggar way of life stresses family ties, so much so that they basically disowned Jinger for moving away. So it’s not surprising that the men like to keep their jobs in the family when possible. And let’s not forget Jim Bob’s many business holdings. The man has a successful real estate business, a car lot, and several airplanes, not to mention a hit reality TV show about his life. Jim Bob would obviously have no problem finding a job for every man in the family. He’d probably put the kids to work too, if it weren’t for those pesky child labor laws. Of the boys who are old enough to work, Joseph, Josiah, and Jason Duggar are all apparently going into real estate. They’ll be following in the footsteps of Jim Bob, who began his career in real estate. Jim Bob reportedly still makes good money for the family through his real estate business, despite shifting his focus to Counting On . Hopefully the real estate game will be kind to Joseph, Josiah, and Jason. Jim Bob’s older boys weren’t exactly successful in their own careers. Josh Duggar, the eldest, had a brief but disastrous stint in politics. For two years Josh was the executive director of FRC Action, an organization that lobbied on behalf of the conservative hate group, Family Research Council. He was brought on board because the FRC assumed his fame would help their message appeal to kids. But as we now know, it was actually kids who appealed to Josh. In 2015 it came to light that Josh had molested five underage girls, and his family had helped him cover it up. 19 Kids and Counting was cancelled, and so was Josh’s career. Josh returned home in disgrace and now works at a used car dealership owned by his father. Josh’s younger brother, 29-year-old John-David, has a less loathsome story, though the bar is low. John has his pilot’s license, but he’s never quite reached the heights of success with it. Apparently he mostly uses it for flying his huge family around, instead of making an actual living as a pilot. John is also a constable in Washington County, Arkansas, though this is reportedly an unpaid volunteer position. So what is he doing for money? Perhaps he and Jim Bob have some kind of arrangement? We wonder what kind of benefits come with being the Duggars’ unofficial sky chauffeur. It seems like the Duggar family patriarch is happy to put his kids to work for the family, even if it’s not an actual position. The only exceptions seem to be for Jim Bob’s sons-in-law, who married into the family and don’t yet work for Jim Bob. Ben Seewald, who’s married to Jessa Duggar, is regularly blasted by fans for being unemployed. Jill’s hubbie Derick Dillard is also unemployed, but since he’s in law school, he has a pretty great excuse. Jinger, the “rebellious” one, married a minister. Truly wild stuff, huh? But her husband, Jeremy Vuolo, used to be a professional soccer player, which actually is pretty cool. So overall, the Duggar guys are all either unemployed, working in the church, or working for Jim Bob. What’s going on with the Duggar men? It would be unfair (and possibly untrue) to dismiss the Duggar boys unilaterally as clods who couldn’t make in the real work force. But it’s worth mentioning that the IBLP strongly discourages its members from seeking a college education. After all, during their education, they might be exposed to a viewpoint that isn’t shared by the church, God forbid. In fact, IBLP instructs men to avoid working for secular companies or employers. Men in the church are also discouraged from taking orders from a woman, even in a professional capacity. And this is what’s at the root of this whole trend of Duggar guys just working for themselves. They have a feverish obedience to fringe religious beliefs that prevent them from working for non-Christians or even women. We hear about the women in this community being opressed, at least from an outsider’s perspective. But this way of life doesn’t leave a lot of choices for the men either, and we can see that in the careers these guys have chosen. It’s either work to serve your family, work to serve your faith community, or don’t work at all. But the family is always growing, and several more Duggar boys have yet to reach working age.
