Kelly’s transition from an international celebrity to a jailed accused pedophile has been anything but smooth. That’s according to court papers that the feds just filed in connection to his child sex abuse case, which reveals details of his life in prison – including the fact that he went through three different cellmates in less than two weeks. R. Kelly has been locked up since July in two simultaneous federal sex abuse cases where prosecutors alleged that he preyed on young women and girls for several years with impunity. He has pled not guilty and has been held without bail pending trial. Since being locked up, the feds described R. Kelly as being a nightmare inmate who has defied staff orders at least once and waffles between wanting to spend his days in general population and in housing for special needs prisoners. U.S. Attorney John Lausch said Kelly himself initially chose to stay in the special housing unit when he first arrived at Chicago’s Metropolitan Correctional Center because of perceived threats and there being “too many people” there.

There’s usually a pretty good chance that when you run off on the plug, they can’t call the police without snitching on themselves, too. But in the animal world, things are a lot different, so Holston didn’t get so lucky. According to reports from TMZ , Corinne Oltz, the operator of Wild Animal World in Florida, is claiming that one of her porcupines named ‘Pickles’ went missing before turning up in Tarzann’s possession. She says that she has been trying to get ahold of the popular animal Instagrammer for a while, but still hasn’t had any luck. Now, she’s suing for $5,000 and wants the money to come either from him or from the owner of the property. Like we mentioned before, this isn’t the first time TheReallTarzann has been in the spotlight for some issues with the law. This adds to the growing list of legal issues popping up involving the social media influencer, as he was arrested for burglary and battery less than a month ago. Source: Scott Dudelson / Getty Rapper Accused Of Lying To Illegally Obtain Firearms Rapper Kodak Black is set to plead guilty to federal weapons charges next week, BOSSIP has learned. The troubled artist is set to admit his guilt in open court next week that he lied in order to illegally purchase guns during what’s known as a “change of plea” hearing in the case, according to court documents obtained by BOSSIP. Although he initially pleaded not guilty, Kodak’s about-face likely means he’s struck some kind of plea deal with federal prosecutors to end the case, though it was unclear Friday. We’ve reached out to Kodak’s lawyer, Bradford Cohen, for comment. The feds nabbed Kodak – who has changed his legal name to Bill K. Kapri – back in May at the Rolling Loud Festival, moments before he was set to take the stage. They raided his tour bus, and he’s been held without bail ever since. Kodak’s current charge of making false statements in connection with the acquisition of a firearm carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison, three years of parole and up to $250,000 in fines. Besides the gun charges case, the prosecutor in his South Carolina rape case asked a judge to revoke his $100,000 bond because of his repeated arrests. A high school girl accused Kodak of sexually assaulting her following a concert in Columbia in 2016. The judge in the rape case has yet to rule on the prosecutor’s request.
Source: Robert Alexander / Getty Mississippi Man Sues Police For $1 Million Over Bloody Beating Another day, another cop abusing his power to inflict injury on a Black body. A Mississippi man, Wesley Logan, was beaten bloody by Water Valley police officers during a traffic stop and now he’s suing the city for $1 million. Logan says he was asked to get out of his car after approaching a roadblock and the officers in question began to beat him because they believed he was going to run away according to WREG . “We could’ve been burying him, and thank God we’re not, but it still hurts, and I’m not the only one who feels that way,” father Wesley Logan said. The lawsuit was filed against the county, the city and several police officers and deputies. “Enough is enough. It is time that black men be given the benefit of the doubt, just like white men,” his attorney Carlos Moore said. To add insult to injury, Logan has been charged with driving on a suspended license, resisting arrest and simple assault. Yalobusha County Sheriff Lance Humphreys says that Logan charged at the officers twice and was hit with a stun gun, but not beaten. Thing is, there’s video. Press play on the graphic clip below. Kelly’s lawyers have put the blame on the disgraced singer’s alleged victims as they mount a bid for him to be let out on bail. In a letter to the judge July 30, lawyer Douglas C. Anton characterizes the five “Jane Doe” witnesses in Kelly’s federal racketeering case as “disgruntled groupies” who only came forward because of “groupie remorse,” and an overzealous Cook County, Il prosecutor, according to the letter, which was obtained by BOSSIP. The lawyer says Kelly’s legal team will show “how these groupies sought out Robert’s attention, even fought each other for it, voluntarily contacted him, came to his shows, pined to be with him and how Robert would spend his time and even become friends with, and care about these groupies and fans who were dying to be with him,” the letter states. The attorneys said the government’s characterization of R. Kelly as the head of a “criminal enterprise” was false, and that the “Pied Piper” was simply running a tight ship on tour. And as for those tours, the “Honey Love” singer’s lawyers contend that the way Kelly ran his “fan experiences” were for the protection of the fans – who were both male and female. Kelly is set to appear in Brooklyn Federal Court on Friday for his first appearance in the racketeering case, where he is scheduled to be arraigned. His lawyer said Kelly’s two girlfriends – who have been dubbed his “alleged sex slaves” – will be in the courtroom to support their man. Kelly is also facing another, a simultaneous federal case in Illinois for child porn charges . The judge in the racketeering case has yet to rule on granting Kelly bail.
Source: Prince Williams / Getty Reality Star Exes Embroiled In Custody Dispute Over Toddler Daughter Bonnie Bella Stevie J has pleaded with a family court judge to throw his ex Joseline Hernandez behind bars after he says she violated a court order by deliberately denying him the chance to visit their daughter during a trip to Miami last weekend. The former “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star filed in court papers July 29 to have Joseline put in contempt of court after she allegedly purposely kept their daughter Bonnie Bella Hernandez away from him after he flew to Miami to spend time with the girl under a court order. We exclusively revealed that Stevie sued Joseline for full custody of the tot , arguing that he was more financially and emotionally stable. He also asked the judge to force Joseline to pay him child support. But in her answer, Joseline said that she’s doing the best she can to raise Bonnie, even though her income had gone down. She said that she’s never kept him away from the girl and asked a judge to make him start paying her 20 percent of his income. Stevie and Joseline were in court last week over access to the almost-three-year-old girl, and the judge issued a temporary order where he’d have visitation and one overnight in Miami from July 28 to Aug. 11. Under the order – which was obtained by BOSSIP – Stevie was supposed to take Bonnie to school, hang out with her in class and then drop her back to Joseline’s at 7 p.m. He was also supposed to have unsupervised visitation on weekends. Both Joseline and Stevie also had to agree to submit to drug testing as part of the temporary order. Stevie said he and his family flew to Miami in the hopes of rekindling his relationship with Bonnie, who he said he hadn’t seen or spoken to for six months because Joseline froze him out of her life. But Faith Evans’ husband said Joseline thumbed her nose up at the court by keeping Bonnie home from school and eventually stopped Stevie from seeing her altogether, his court docs state. Stevie wants the judge to step in and put Joseline in jail for her refusal to let him parent Bonnie. He is also seeking an emergency court hearing, for Joseline to reimburse him for his Miami trip as well as his lawyer’s fees. Joseline has not responded to Stevie’s allegations.

Officers from the Leonia, NJ Police Department pulled the “Breathe” rapper over May 24 after spotting him behind the wheel of a 2019 black Rolls Royce that didn’t have a front license plate, according to police. During the stop, the police learned that Fab’s driver’s license was expired and he didn’t have the car’s inspection. The only reason why his Rolls wasn’t towed by the cops was that another person – possibly on/off partner Emily B. – arrived on the scene and agreed to drive the vehicle away. Although he wasn’t arrested, cops issued him with two summonses, and he is supposed to appear in court in September, according to municipal records. We’ve reached out to Fabolous’ lawyer for comment. This latest incident raised fears that he could jeopardize the terms of his March 2019 plea deal, where he admitted “harassment” of Emily B and her father. However, BOSSIP can reveal that Fab’s latest interaction with law enforcement will not affect his plea deal. His deal, which included 12 months in a pre-trial intervention program, had a “no conditions” provision, meaning that if he got in trouble it would not change his deal.
Source: Jeff Hahne / Getty Rapper Appears By Phone In Court Over Toddler Son’s Care After Autism Diagnosis A judge has denied Flo Rida’s baby mama’s request for more child support for their son’s expenses related to his autism therapy but ruled that the rapper must timely reimburse her for out of pocket costs. Lawyers for both Flo Rida and his son’s mother Alexis Adams were in court Friday where Adams’ lawyer asked for a child support increase in order to pay for their son’s medical needs and ongoing therapy after doctors diagnosed the boy as being on the autism spectrum earlier this year. Adams’ lawyer Ava Gutfriend argued that the insurance that the boy currently has doesn’t allow for out of network coverage, dental visits and ophthalmology, leaving Adams to pay the difference out of pocket, which she said can run into thousands of dollars. And when she’s given the receipts to Flo’s legal team, he’s taken up to a year to pay her back, Gutfriend said. But Flo Rida’s lawyer Howard Felcher said the “Welcome To My House” rapper never has never been in court for violating the support order and covered “100 percent” of his son’s needs. In the end, the judge said the lawyers should confer and come up with a system where Adams submits the boy’s unreimbursed medical bills to Flo Rida and he has to pay it in full within a set period of time. Both sides are due back in court in the fall.

Just ask Nas. The legendary Queens MC is back on the hook for old tax warrants out of New York that have been lodged in his new home of California, BOSSIP has learned. New York State’s Commissioner of Taxation and Finance registered the judgments in Los Angeles against the “If I Ruled The World Rapper,” earlier this month, according to court papers obtained by BOSSIP. The liens total a whopping $42,497.64, according to the New York State Division of Taxation. Nas’ alleged debt stems from income he earned in 2011 and 2012. The state clearly doesn’t mess around when it comes to collecting its due, and Nas’ court papers say that his wages, money and property could be seized without warning if he doesn’t address it. Nas had not yet officially responded to the cases as of July 25.
