Britney Spears brought a very special guest on stage with her in Las Vegas last night. The singer stunned those in the crowd by dancing up a storm with Arrow star Colton Haynes, grinding her groove thing with him to her song “Freak Show.” Except Britney didn't seem to know it was Colton Haynes, formerly of Teen Wolf fame. “That was so much fun, oh my God. Thank you for coming up here and dancing with us,” Spears said to Haynes toward the end of her routine. She then asked: “What’s your name? Colton? Give it up for Colton everyone! You’re an amazing dancer, oh my goodness.” It's certainly possible that Spears wasn't aware of Haynes' identity. He isn't THAT famous, after all, even if he just made some news for comments given to Out Magazine about the suicide of his father . Britney's team may have just offered up Haynes as a volunteer and told the artist it was a random fan in the audience. Or Spears could have been joking around. It's hard to tell with her, but you can judge for yourself in the following video. One thing we know Britney was dead serious about? Tributes are pouring in from fans, friends and former colleagues of reality star Diem Brown, who died at age 32 on Friday after valiantly battling cancer. Brown, who starred on several seasons of MTV’s Road Rules and The Real World spinoff The Challenge , is perhaps best known, tragically, for fighting cancer. By the time Diem Brown died , she had been diagnosed with cancer three times, most recently this summer, when it quickly spread and took her life. She had bested ovarian cancer twice before, beginning at age 23. Throughout her recent battle, family and friends were by her side and many posted inspiring, heartwarming messages of support on social media. Brown herself posted a heartbreaking tweet a couple of days ago. ” I NEED PRAyErs and advice my doctors are seemingly giving up but I won’t & can’t rollover. Whatever option I have to LIVE I’m grabbing!” she said. So, so sad. Ed Asner was hospitalized after the 83-year-old struggled to deliver his lines and appeared confused during a one-man show in Indiana last night. He was taken to a Chicago-area hospital for exhaustion and was ” resting comfortably ” on Wednesday, his publicist Charles Sherman tells the media. After conducting an acting workshop, Asner arrived at Marquette Pavilion in Gary, Ind., to play Franklin Delano Roosevelt in the sold-out show FDR . He struggled with his lines and appeared frustrated but was still conscious as he left the stage, apologizing to the audience and promising to return. Ed Asner’s health problems arose soon after his Mary Tyler Moore Show co-star Valerie Harper , 73, revealed that she has terminal brain cancer. We wish nothing but the best for both acting greats.

By Rob Markman Nicki Minaj performs at Times Square Photo: D Dipasupil/ FilmMagic NEW YORK — Not only did New York get a free Nicki Minaj concert Friday night, but the lucky fans in the audience will also be appearing in the video for the DJ Doorly remix of her hit single “Starships.” After the Times Square show , Nicki made her way to the nearby Renaissance Hotel for a meet-and-greet with her fans, then sat with MTV News for a little one-on-one. “All the fans that were in Times Square tonight will get to be in the video, which is gonna be super exciting for them to see themselves,” the hometown star said. “I’m actually really interested in seeing it; I didn’t really know how they were going to make it all happen.” Nokia sponsored the surprise concert and teamed Nicki with DJ Doorly, who came up with his own dance remix for the Barb’s current single from her new album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded. About a thousand or so fans gathered in Times Square several hours before the Young Money rap star took the stage. When she finally did emerge, she delivered a short-but-high-energy set. Nicki set things off with the album version of “Starships” and then performed “Right By My Side” sans Chris Brown. For the finale, Ms. Minaj closed with her 2011 summer hit “Super Bass.” The youthful crowd of locals and out-of-town tourists jumped up and down, rapping along to every word. After Nicki left the stage, the DJ spun the Doorly “Starships” remix and the fans danced, while overhead cameras caught the footage to use in the video, which will hit YouTube on Saturday (April 7). Couple have been together since 2002 and have a 5-year-old daughter together. A rep for Gyllenhaal has confirmed to Usmagazine.com that the couple’s daughter, 5-year-old Ramona, will soon have a baby brother or sister to keep her company. A source said that the actress will “be laying low for a little bit now.” In a previous interview with the magazine, Gyllenhaal admitted it’s not always easy to balance being an actress and being a mom. “I had been so focused on Ramona — and she’s been everything to me — but I’m also an actress. It’s not possible to do it perfectly,” she said. “Being a mom is so present in my mind and my work. It’s the most important thing about me, but next I’d like to play someone who’s not a mother.” Life & Style reported that the couple told friends and family about the pregnancy over the Thanksgiving holiday. Gyllenhaal first had people wondering if she was expecting when she arrived at the Rome Film Festival sporting what appeared to be a baby bump in late October. “Over Thanksgiving weekend, Maggie was telling friends that she’s six months pregnant,” a friend of the actress said. “Her bump is so big!” The friend added, “She’s thrilled to be pregnant! She and Peter have wanted another child for a while. They’re very happy that they’ll have another baby in the house soon.” The couple, together since 2002, tied the knot in 2009 in Italy. As for uncle Jake Gyllenhaal , the friend tells Life & Style that he’s really excited to be an uncle again. “Jake is so happy that she’s pregnant again because he loves kids.
