Lindsay Lohan Says She’s Designing Her Own Island, Appears to Be Serious

Lindsay Lohan may not have a successful movie career at the moment. Or television career. Or singing career. Or modeling career. Heck, you may not have even seen the words “Lindsay Lohan” and “career” or “success” in the same sentence since approximately 2009. But the former actress and constant lightening rod for trouble sat down with Wendy Williams on Friday and said she’s actually very busy. With what , you may be wondering? Well…. “I’m discussing designing my own island in Dubai at the World Islands,” Lohan said with a straight face, adding that it will be called “Lohan Island” and then joking: “I’m out Trump-ing Trump with the name Lohan.” Oh, God. Is Lindsay Lohan going to run for President in 2020? She is, isn’t she? And she’s going to win, isn’t she? Elsewhere in interview, the woman who thinks we’re too mean to Donald Trum p opened up about her family, her relationship status and her life in Dubai. Oh, and about that Mean Girls sequel chatter? Here’s a rundown of other topics the island architect touched on with Williams: Why did she get into so much trouble back in the day? I think everybody has their own path in life. We all go through ups and downs in life. Being in public, a lot of pressure was on a lot. I didn’t know how to have a private life because I was too young, running around too much and surrounding myself with people I probably shouldn’t have been around, there for the lifestyle. I wouldn’t blame anyone for anything in my life. Does she blame her parents for any of her issues? In life, parents have their things together and sometimes the children are immersed in it and you really have to step back and let your parents do what they do and figure everything out for themselves. We all have a great relationship now, so it’s nice,” she added, “it’s much simpler that way. Is she a lesbian? No, I like men. Is she dating right now? I don’t have a man. I don’t want to date anyone right now. I’m in work mode, I like it. I have great girlfriends, people around me, my family. Relationships, I’ve had enough of them. I don’t think, especially in LA you’re always around other actors, and I like being OK with me. When it happens, it’ll happen. Aside from being “stalker-ish” when it comes to making a new Mean Girls, what else is she doing? I really threw myself into working with a lot of children and refugees overseas. I’m going back to Turkey to see them soon. I feel like there’s a lot of love I have to give to children that don’t have anyone and that have lost their parents and don’t have a lot of love and hope in their life. What’s the biggest misconception about her? It is frustrating to me when people always say those partying days and stuff. I was never really a partier. Just because I was seen out at clubs, made some mistakes, they didn’t take the best shots of me. I don’t like to bring up and rehash the past. How does she feel about the future? Whenever people bring up past things I experiences and gone through, like jail, working at the morgue, which is actually really traumatizing stuff. But then it distracts from actually, maybe meeting with people to do Batgirl, doing a Mean Girls 2,’it really distracts people and they only think about the negative. It sounds like Lohan has a solid head on her shoulders these days. That may very well change by the time you read this. But we really do wish the best to Lohan. She’s been through enough. We’re sick of writing about her troubles and we hope they’re behind her. We’d also totally vacation on Lohan Island, wouldn’t you?

Source: Blake Towns / HotSpotAtl.com Clayton County native Derez De’Shon shows zero signs of slowing down this year after a crazy 2017. Last August, he dropped his highly anticipated debut mixtape “Pain” on all major platforms, flooding the streets of Atlanta. Following the release, he teamed up with My Mixtapes and dropped a project titled “Thank Da Streets” as a thank you and to show love to his fans. The tape has been credited with 1.8 million hits on the My Mixtapes app alone. Source: Blake Towns / HotSpotAtl.com The “P.I.L.” rapper consistently puts on for Dirt Gang in his introspective and melodically-based tracks and is known widely to be associated with other superstars such as Cash Money CEO and Rich Gang leader Birdman , Waka Flocka Flame , DJ Envy , super producer London On The Track and many more. De’Shon, being extremely close with Slim Dunkin before his passing in late 2011, almost gave up music at one point due to the loss of his best friend and to put more focus into family matters. However, the extroverted-introvert emcee never once lost sight of the end goal. He knew his friend and fellow music partner would want to see him chase after his dream. Steered in the right direction by manager June Jonez, Derez surrounds himself with like-minded people and is quickly driving his way to the top. De’Shon is a testimony to what the words “real,” “loyal,” and “humble” truly mean. It’s no question the “Hardaway” genius has earned his respect and is being shown endless amounts of love and support along his journey. Be sure to check out “Pain” on all platforms and the video to his latest song “Regret” directed by Major League Films.   Blake Towns Source: Blake Towns / HotSpotAtl.com

Willow Smith Says Growing Up Famous Has Been “Excruciatingly Terrible”

Read this article:

Source: Gilbert Carrasquillo / Getty The young and profoundly talented Willow Smith wants you to know that fame isn’t always what it seems. In an interview with Girlgaze Zine , Willow Smith candidly describes her life in the public eye as, “excruciatingly terrible.” The 17-year-old singer told the mag, “Growing up and trying to figure out your life…while people feel like they have some sort of entitlement to know what’s going on, is absolutely, excruciatingly terrible. And the only way to get over it, is to go into it.” Although Willow and her brother Jaden are both following their parents’ famous footsteps by pursuing careers in entertainment and music, she says having people in your business 24/7  is often damaging for celebrity kids. “I feel like most kids like me end up going down a spiral of depression, and the world is sitting there looking at them through their phones; laughing and making jokes and making memes at the crippling effect that this lifestyle has on the psyche.” Willow’s rise to stardom began at the age of 10 when her popular dance hit “Whip my Hair” crushed the charts in 2010. Now, seven years later, she’s about to release her 2nd album “The 1st” where she touches on growing up from being a teenager to being a woman. IMAGE CREDIT: Getty

Willow Smith Calls Growing Up In The Public Eye “Excruciatingly Terrible”

Willow Smith Isn’t Exactly Glad She Was Born With Famous Parents The Smith family seems to be made up of a clan that’s used to monopolizing on their spotlight. With the huge celebrity of parents Will and Jada, one might assume that their kiddies Willow and Jaden enjoy their time in the public eye, seeing as they are both currently pursuing careers in music, acting, and other entertainment avenues. But just because the famous youngins are embracing their celebrity now, doesn’t mean they they have always been fond of the fact that they never got a “normal” childhood. In an interview with Girlgaze Zine , Willow Smith talks very openly about how her experience having to grow up in the public eye was, “excruciatingly terrible.” The star told the mag, “Growing up and trying to figure out your life…while people feel like they have some sort of entitlement to know what’s going on, is absolutely, excruciatingly terrible. And the only way to get over it, is to go into it.” She also mentions not being able to change your face or your parents, so the only way to get over that hurdle is to put yourself all the way into the mix. Willow then added, “I feel like most kids like me end up going down a spiral of depression, and the world is sitting there looking at them through their phones; laughing and making jokes and making memes at the crippling effect that this lifestyle has on the psyche.” Commenting on how the best way to deal with those times is to just completely immerse yourself into the entertainment industry yourself, it seems like Willow has mastered just that.

Briana DeJesus Throws MAJOR Shade at Kailyn Lowry on Twitter!

At one point, they were rumored to be friends. When Briana DeJesus joined the cast of  Teen Mom 2  for the show's most recent season, Kailyn Lowry seemed to be the only veteran cast member who didn't have a problem with it. That all changed when Briana began dating Javi Marroquin , Kailyn's ex-husband and the father of her second child. These days, Bri and Kail are bitter enemies, and it seems there's no end to their feud in sight. Check out our rundown of the latest shots fired in this increasingly brutal war or words: 1. Briana & Javi: Getting Serious? What started as a fling appears to be developing into a serious relationship. Briana and Javi have been exchanging flirty messages on Twitter, and Kailyn is understandably less than pleased. 2. Kailyn Lowry: Not Having It Kail has moved on from her marriage to Javi, and she’s doing her own thing these days. But it seems she’s not a fan of the way Bri and Javi have been flaunting their happiness (or feigned happiness) publicly. 3. Is It All a Game? Some fans suspect Bri and Javi aren’t serious about their relationship and are only posting about it so frequently in order to get under Kail’s skin. 4. Bri to Javi: Let’s Get Married! For some fans, the final straw was this tweet, in which Bri made reference to an earlier conversation that she and Javi had had about getting married. 5. Briana: Just Kidding About the Marriage Thing In response to disbelief from fans, Bri later clarified that she was just joking about the marriage comments. 6. But the Feud Is Real Shortly thereafter, Briana kept the feud fires burning by calling Kailyn out with some screenshots of a text conversation between Lowry and Marroquin. View Slideshow

Amy Duggar Slams Derick Dillard: Try Being a Nice Person!

Amy Duggar is urging her online followers – and Jill Duggar’s husband Derick Dillard – to extend love and compassion instead of hate. What a novel concept, we know. Jarring. The Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars cast member and niece of Jim Bob Duggar took to Twitter to share an uplifting message: “You might not agree with someone or their lifestyle but you SHOULD be compassionate and show God’s love regardless to everyone.” There’s no doubt what sparked this. Amy’s tweet comes a week after Derick Dillard was fired by TLC following a second, unprompted attack on fellow network star Jazz Jennings. Derick, the husband of Amy’s cousin Jill, has some serious problems with 17-year-old Jazz, the transgender star of I Am Jazz on TLC. Dillard got into it with Twitter user @_mastercthulhu, saying, “I pity Jazz 4 those who take advantage of him in order 2 promote their agenda.” That includes “the parents who allow these kinds of decisions 2 be made by a child … It’s sad that ppl would use a juvenile this way.” “Jazz is being taken advantage of, as part of a larger agenda. I really have nothing against the kid and wish him all the best in life,” he adds. “I just hate seeing him used this way.” Note the inaccurate pronouns as part of Dillard’s attack on Jazz Jennings , which came out of nowhere and wasn’t even the first of its kind. Derick’s outspoken and controversial quotes along these lines had already been causing friction between the Duggars and the network. That tension has now boiled over. After Amy’s message, Der’s Twitter adversary @_mastercthulhu applauded her for being respectful to others, responding: “This is what I was trying to say to Derick. It’s okay that you don’t agree with the trans community, that’s your opinion and that’s fine.” “But you can’t bully and be mean to others this is coming from an atheist! I’m glad you understand what it means to be a good Christian, Amy.” “I have friends that are gay and I still love them as a person,” Amy replied to her new Twitter supporter. “Thank you for following.” Following his initial criticism of I Am Jazz, a reality show which he called an “oxymoron” based on the transgender “myth,” Derick wrote: “No one – women, men, children or transgender persons – should be subjected to any form of exploitation or targeted for discrimination.” “Transsexual and transgendered persons are entitled to the same human and civil rights as others.” “Recognizing these rights, however, does not mean that we must accept that hormones and surgery transform men into women and women into men.” “Or,” he added, “that persons who self-identify as members of the opposite sex, are what they subjectively claim to be.”  “What an oxymoron. A ‘reality’ show which follows a non-reality. ‘Transgender’ is a myth. Gender is not fluid. It’s ordained by God.” Obviously, this set off a firestorm. Some of Dillard’s fans lauded these comments, but his network bosses were far from impressed. TLC released a statement: “We want to let our viewers know that Derick Dillard has not participated in Counting On for months and the network has no plans to feature him in the future.” “We want to reiterate that Derick’s personal statements do not reflect the views of the network,” the statement said in no uncertain terms. It concluded, referencing his target: “TLC is proud to share the story of Jazz Jennings and her family and will continue to do so.” A low-key firing, but pretty direct nonetheless; Jill may be fired from Counting On as well, apparently, based on these comments. Jazz herself responded indirectly to the controversy, not naming Derick specifically but clearly referring to him when she wrote: “In the face of constant ignorance and hatred I prefer to disregard negative opinions and continue moving forward with love.” Sounds like a message Amy Duggar would embrace.
