Source: Hannah Foslien / Getty The NBA has gone through several stylistic changes over the decades, with athletes introducing their own flair to the standard uniforms at various intervals. However, those expecting the so-called “Ninja-style” headband accessory to gain traction will be disappointed to know that the league is banning the look ahead of the season. ESPN reports : Several players — including the Miami Heat’s Jimmy Butler, the New Orleans Pelicans’ Jrue Holiday, the LA Clippers’ Montrezl Harrell, the Minnesota Timberwolves’ Karl-Anthony Towns and the Brooklyn Nets’ Jarrett Allen — regularly wore the headgear a season ago. The NBA never had a formal process to approve the headgear, and allowed players to wear it during the 2018-19 season because, spokesman Mike Bass told ESPN, “We didn’t want to cause a disruption by intervening midseason.” The NBA notified teams in May that the headbands wouldn’t be a part of this season’s approved uniforms. The NBA’s competition committee discussed the headwear as part of its meetings in Chicago on Monday. A source told ESPN that some members expressed concerns on safety, including the looseness of the headwear. Yeah, we don’t want any player to get injured by an errant headband on the court (insert sarcasm). — Photo: Getty
Source: Jon Kopaloff / Getty Fans Really Aren’t Buying The Supposed Benefits Of Kylie’s New Skincare Line Kylie Jenner’s new skincare line, Kylie Skin, has everyone talking–but not all of the chatter surrounding this launch is for the right reason. It goes without saying that Kylie’s line of makeup is one of the most successful in the industry, but when the youngest KarJenner sister announced that she was coming out with a line of skincare products, people weren’t exactly on board. It’s a lot like that time her sister Kendall Jenner announced she was the new face of Proactiv–people simply don’t believe that million(or billion)aires use the same products on their faces that us regular folk do. And even if they do use the same face wash, those expensive facials and other treatments are probably doing a lot more for them than the Cetaphil, so it’s probably better not to take their skincare routine to heart. Following Kylie Skin’s initial backlash–and some additional criticism for releasing a “walnut scrub” that many skincare experts deemed harmful–the biggest slack Jenner has caught regarding this launch is for a video she posted of her washing her face. View this post on Instagram morning and night A post shared by Kylie Skin by Kylie Jenner (@kylieskin) on May 29, 2019 at 5:35am PDT As seen in the clip above, not only does Kylie wash her face for a total of 7 seconds, but when she dries it off, a huge streak of foundation is left on the towel–a pretty clear indication that she didn’t do a great job of cleansing her makeup. This can be seen as one of two things: Either the product doesn’t actually work, or the filming of that video was Kylie’s first time actually using her own product. Both are pretty bad ways to have your company represented. With the release of this latest video, people all over social media are clowning Kylie for not knowing how to wash her face–and the jokes are absolutely endless. From quips about Kylie washing her face like someone who can afford a new one to her whole skincare launch being a scam, check out the funniest takes on Ms. Jenner’s brand new line and the accompanying promos. Sis the towel still has foundation left on it… — S (@Powerinthehair) May 29, 2019 Kylie Jenner is doing skincare tutorials with filters and her foundation is still on after she washed her face. Scam today. Scam tomorrow. — Morgan Jerkins (@MorganJerkins) May 29, 2019 Imagine buying face wash from someone who doesn't even know how to wash their face properly. — Thato (@Mahaliah) May 29, 2019

Last August, he dropped his highly anticipated debut mixtape “Pain” on all major platforms, flooding the streets of Atlanta. Following the release, he teamed up with My Mixtapes and dropped a project titled “Thank Da Streets” as a thank you and to show love to his fans. The tape has been credited with 1.8 million hits on the My Mixtapes app alone. De’Shon, being extremely close with Slim Dunkin before his passing in late 2011, almost gave up music at one point due to the loss of his best friend and to put more focus into family matters. However, the extroverted-introvert emcee never once lost sight of the end goal. He knew his friend and fellow music partner would want to see him chase after his dream. Steered in the right direction by manager June Jonez, Derez surrounds himself with like-minded people and is quickly driving his way to the top. De’Shon is a testimony to what the words “real,” “loyal,” and “humble” truly mean. It’s no question the “Hardaway” genius has earned his respect and is being shown endless amounts of love and support along his journey. Be sure to check out “Pain” on all platforms and the video to his latest song “Regret” directed by Major League Films. Blake Towns Source: Blake Towns / HotSpotAtl.com
Just yesterday, I was talking about how much I loved Lily Donaldson and her tasty coconuts , and then she goes and shows them off at the Paper Towns premiere in New York, right on cue. So now I’m wondering if the same thing will happen if I write about how much I love the British hottie’s booty… Hey, I figure it’s worth a shot, right? Cross your fingers. Photos: WENN.com
Last week, Cara Delevingne responded to Vogue’s article claiming her sexuality was “a phase,” telling the mag that it is not a phase at all. This week, the 22-year-old supermodel and actress is opening up about her sexuality, letting people know that she is changing, but she understands her sexuality as it is right now. Delevingne told People that she is constantly changing . “I like to be spontaneous and live in the moment,” the star of Paper Towns said. Her stance on being bisexual follows the same “live in the moment” attitude. “I haven’t made a concrete decision about anything,” she said. “Every day, I change. Every day, I’m discovering new things about myself.” But that doesn’t mean her sexuality is a phase or act. Rather she recognizes that she is still learning about her self, including her sexuality. If she is discovering new things about herself, then maybe one day she will think of her sexuality differently. But as of now, she identifies herself as bisexual. She doesn’t plan on keeping her sexual orientation a secret. “I want to be as open with people as possible,” she stated. “There are a lot of things people don’t know about me, but I just want to be honest.” Her honesty about her sexuality serves as a positive example for young people still trying to understand their own sexuality – that it is a complicated part of our identity that takes time to understand. Currently, Delevingne is dating model and actress St. Vincent. She even took her to the Paper Towns premiere on Tuesday in New York City. View Slideshow: 28 Bisexual Celebrities

Missing Elderly Georgia Couple Found Dead This is truly a sad story . Via NYDN : The search for an elderly Georgia couple that went missing after trying to buy a vintage car on Craigslist came to a tragic end after authorities pulled the couple’s SUV from a rural pond and found two bodies, each shot in the head, Monday in a patch of woods nearby. Police positively identified the dead as 69-year-old Bud Runion and his wife, 66-year-old June Runion, one day after their missing 2003 GMC Envoy was pulled from a lake near McRae on Monday, the Telfair County Sheriff’s Office said. Ronnie Adrian (Jay) Towns, 28, has been charged with murdering and robbing the couple, authorities said Tuesday afternoon. Police believe the couple headed to the rural town from their Marietta home Thursday afternoon in search of a 1966 Ford Mustang they’d offered to buy on Craigslist. Towns allegedly lured them to McRae with the promise of the car, which he never had, authorities said. Towns was originally charged Monday with giving false statements and criminal attempt to commit theft by deception. The missing car was found near property owned by Towns, officials said. He’s due in court Tuesday. SMH! Some people are truly evil . After taking what he wanted from them, What reason did he really have to shoot the poor couple???
Over 100 People Declared Missing Following Washington Landslide A catastrophic landslide that took place over the weekend in Washington has resulted in over 100 missing residents with a current death toll of eight people. via CNN A list of those reported missing following a landslide in rural Washington state includes 108 names, emergency officials said Monday. But that doesn’t mean all of them were killed in Saturday’s disaster north of Seattle, Snohomish County Emergency Management Director John Pennington said. The official death toll remains at eight with seven others hurt, he said. Until Monday, the number of people unaccounted for was reported to be 18. The landslide covered about a square mile and was caused by groundwater saturation tied to heavy rain in the area over the past month. It affected the towns of Oso, a remote community of about 180, and Darrington, a town of about 1,350. The affected area includes 35 traditionally built houses, 13 manufactured homes and RVs, and a cabin, Pennington said at a news conference. Authorities have worked feverishly to find survivors. Wherever you stand on the High & Low scale, meticulous attention to craft and detail separates the journeymen from the true artists. This week, we get a tribute to an American auteur that most reflects his exacting eye — which, at one point, drove him into bankruptcy — along with highlights from a comedy series devoted to watching dreadful movies over and over again to find the humor therein. HIGH: Francis Ford Coppola : 5-Film Collection (Lionsgate; Blu-Ray $39.99) WHO’S RESPONSIBLE: A quintet of films from legendary American filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola (although two of them are Apocalypse Now ). WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT: This collection features the original and “Redux” versions of Apocalypse Now , along with critical fave The Conversation , late-career curiosity Tetro and elaborate musical One from the Heart — a film so lavish and expensive that it helped to bankrupt Coppola’s ambitious American Zoetrope film studio. WHY IT’S SCHMANCY: The Godfather trilogy is owned by another company and thus absent here, but the films on display capture, in miniature, the breadth of what makes Coppola such a singular filmmaker. They’re all passion projects to some extent, and while some of these movies have their detractors, none of them represent Coppola collecting a big studio paycheck in return for mere competency behind the camera. (See Jack or The Rainmaker for that sort of thing.) From the technical and emotional nitty-gritty of The Conversation to the Vegas- vu-par -MGM spectacle of One from the Heart , this set captures a fascinating slice of American film history. WHY YOU SHOULD OWN IT (AGAIN): One from the Heart makes its Blu-Ray debut here (file it next to The Criterion Collection’s recent hi-def release of another infamous budget-buster, Heaven’s Gate ), and three of these films come loaded with plenty of extras. All you get with both Apocalypse Now movies is a Coppola commentary, but fans probably already own the elaborate Apocalypse Now “Full Disclosure Edition” released a few years ago by Lionsgate. LOW: Mystery Science Theater 3000 : XXV (Shout Factory; DVD $59.97) WHO’S RESPONSIBLE: Four films deserve and receive mockery by Joel Hodgson, Mike Nelson, Trace Beaulieu, Kevin Murphy, Frank Conniff, Bill Corbett, Mary Jo Pehl, J. Elvis Weinstein and the rest of the crew. WHY IT’S FUN: Mystery Science Theater 3000 took audience interactivity to new heights by hilariously “riffing” through some of the worst movies they could find, and now these DVD collections both capture the original episodes in all their glory while also enhancing them with new extras. For MST3K ’s 25 th edition from Shout Factory, we get young Ann-Margret minxing up John Forsyth in Kitten with a Whip ; the mind-bending Operation Kid Brother , starring Sean Connery’s brother Neil as (wait for it) the brother of a secret agent; Jack Arnold’s Black Lagoon sequel Revenge of the Creature , featuring Universal contract player Clint Eastwood ; and Robot Holocaust , which makes the other three films featured here look like The Magnificent Ambersons by comparison. The show was consistently funny over the course of a decade, and this collection features a great mix of genres (not to mention some of the most watchable movies they ever targeted). WHY YOU SHOULD OWN IT: All four of these are great episodes — and at the moment, this is the only way you can get Operation Kid Brother (aka OK Connery , aka Operation Double 007 ) on DVD in the United States. There are also new introductions by Hodgson and Nelson, and a doc on Arnold’s years at Universal. If you order directly from Shout Factory, they’ll throw in a bonus DVD of all nine chapters of Radar Men from the Moon riffed by the Season One cast, including one previously unreleased chapter and a new intro by Weinstein.
