For the past few months, rumors that Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are getting divorced have been circulating online, and neither party has done anything to put a stop to the gossip. Sure, Joel wished Nicole a happy Mother’s Day on Instagram, but he also called her his “friend” in the post. That sounds like amicable split talk to us. Now, there’s another sure sign of trouble for NiJoel, as Radar Online is reporting that Madden and Richie have put their house up for sale . The Madden family has called the Laurel Canyon crib home since 2009, and sources say Richie has already scooped up a new $7 million mansion in Beverly Hills, but thus far, it looks like she’s the only one moving in. The move is particularly shocking, as Richie spent the past six years putting personal touches on the property, and she’s been known to gush about the house in interviews. Daughter Harlow and son Sparrow have lived there for pretty much their entire lives, so we’re guessing the family’s sentimental attachment to the place runs deep. According to In Touch Weekly reports : In Touch has exclusively learned that Nicole Richie has taken the next step towards ending her four-year marriage to rocker Joel Madden. A source exclusively shares with In Touch, “Nicole recently met with one of LA’s most prominent divorce attorneys and is weighing her options.” The source explains that months of bitter arguments over things like their busy schedules and parenting their kids — daughter Harlow, 7, and son Sparrow, 5 — have proven to be too much for Nicole and Joel. As In Touch previously reported , the couple have been “spending more time apart because all they do is fight when they’re together.” The last thing she wants is a public split with the children involved, but she’s desperately unhappy,” the source shares. Windell D. Middlebrooks, a veteran actor best known for portraying one of television’s better known commercial spokespeople, died yesterday at his home in San Fernando Valley. He was 36 years old. Middlebrooks was found passed out and rushed by ambulance to a hospital, according to TMZ insiders. It is unclear if he was pronounced dead at his residence or at the hospital, but no foul play is suspected at this time. While he was best known for portraying the straight-shooting, white collar pitchman at the center of a number of Miller High Life ads, Middlebrooks was also played roles in such hits TV shows as Cougar Town, Parks and Recreation, Scrubs, It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia and the Bernie Mac Show.
