The Nikki Ferrell of old would never have put up with the kind of stuff Juan Pablo is subjecting her to now, according to her ex-boyfriend Ryan McDill. The 26-year-old pediatric nurse has stood happily by her man, despite The Bachelor’s refusal to propose or even say he loves her in a public setting. Critics have questioned the relationship of Juan Pablo Galavis and Nikki Ferrell , as many also feel he’s just a jerk. No one is more surprised than Ryan. “Knowing her like I do, I’m surprised Nikki acted like everything was fine during After the Final Rose,” her ex-boyfriend says in the new issue of Us . McDill dated the would-be reality star for a year until last July. That post-finale special was when Nikki Ferrell told host Chris Harrison that Galavis has not said he loves her. The Bachelor fans were up in arms Monday night when Juan Pablo told Ferrell that he wasn’t ready to propose, simply offering his final rose instead. The Bachelor Season 18 Episode 11, the much-anticipated finale of the ABC reality show, is just six days away. How will it end for Juan Pablo Galavis? More accurately, how will it end for Nikki Ferrell and Clare Crawley, the two women remaining by default after Andi Dorfman peaced out one week ago? A new promo/spoiler clip (below) was served up last night during The Bachelor: Women Tell All special, and it certainly doesn’t hint at a happy ending … The Bachelor Season 18 Finale Preview In the new clip, Juan Pablo is seen romantic Nikki Ferrell and Clare Crawley in St. Lucia, complete with kissing and walking on the beach and so on. However, it’s hinted by his mom that he’s not really all that committed, and the promo ends with both Clare AND Nikki in tears. Good times ahead! All of a sudden, Andi Dorfman bouncing when she did seems like an even better move, although this could just be a promo meant to drive ratings. A misleading teaser wouldn’t be a first for a TV show, especially one like this which has made it a calling card over the years. So we’ll have to stay tuned. Earlier today, Teresa Giudice pleaded guilty to a series of fraud charges. According to various reports, she now faces 21 to 27 months behind bars, while husband Joe Giudice – who also pleaded guilty inside a Newark courthouse – could be in jail for up to 46 months. Not long after arriving at this plea bargain, The Real Housewives of New Jersey star released a statement. “Today, I took responsibility for a series of mistakes I made several years ago,” Giudice said. “I have said throughout that I respect the legal process and thus I intend to address the court directly at sentencing. “I will describe the choices I made, continue to take responsibility for my decisions, and express my remorse to Judge Salas and the public.” Teresa and Joe will be sentenced on an unannounced date. The Giudices, meanwhile, are parents to four daughters: Gia, 13, Gabriella, 11, Milania, 9, and Audriana, 5. “I am heartbroken that this is affecting my family — especially my four young daughters, who mean more to me than anything in the world,” Teresa added. “Beyond this, I do not intend to speak specifically about the case outside of court, at the recommendation of my attorney and out of deference to the government and our legal system.” But Teresa is attuned to the outside world, despite her personal woes. Juan Pablo Galavis has been under siege for what feels like … the entire Season 18 of The Bachelor. Ever since he was cast, things went downhill. The negativity that started when he made anti-gay comments regarding the possibility of a same-sex Bachelor really snowballed in recent weeks, however. Sharleen Joynt peaced out of the series, followed by Andi Dorfman , whose epic dumping of Juan Pablo turned the tables and caused quite a stir. Then Monday’s Women Tell All episode aired, and everybody just kept piling it on. How does El Bachelor respond, now that he has his say? Let’s find out. “I think to understand the women I have to take a step back and remember it’s not easy facing rejection,” he says in his weekly People blog . “Before I talk about specifics, I want to write about how it can be difficult when you’re the Bachelor,” he adds, to which Andi is no doubt rolling her eyes. “It isn’t easy to remember all of the conversations or the questions that I ask, but I always tried my best and I wish that the women recognized that.” “I understand it’s a very hard situation, but … the women I had a better connection and attraction with are the ones that I felt fit more into what I was looking for.” “I understood why Kelly wanted an explanation about my gay comments because during my adventure we had talked openly about her father,” he went on. “I told Kelly that I would love to have an hourlong chat with her so that she can better understand what was misinterpreted and what my views are.” The Bachelor Season 18 Finale Preview “I also want to understand her views and experiences. Does she know when and where I learned English? Does she know about all of the times my producer and I would change words? “I respect her opinion, but everyone is not the same.” “Of all the women at WTA, Sharleen and Renee are by far the women who got to know me the most, and I spent the most time learning about their lives.” “Did you get to see that with Sharleen? Clearly you didn’t, and that’s a shame because she is a spectacular woman. She was not feeling it and was always honest.” “I wanted to thank her for always being who she is.” “Renee is clase aparte (in another category). She’s a sweet, loving, caring, smart and affectionate person, but unfortunately my feelings were not there for her.” “At the end of it all, I’m very happy that Renee found someone, and I want to send her my congratulations. When Apollo Nida was arrested for fraud and identity theft, he insisted that his marriage to Phaedra Parks would be unaffected by his legal issues. Yeah, so much for that. According to reports, the two have actually been living separate lives for weeks, if not longer; they haven’t been photographed together since November. Instead of standing by her Apollo Nida’s side as he prepares for trial, Parks has chosen to launch a book tour for her advice guide Secrets of a Southern Belle . Kind of hard to blame her, no? Nida was arrested on January 24. Free on bail, he recently made a trip to South Carolina, where he was spotted partying with other women on Valentine’s Day. Is it all over for the couple? The last time Parks posted a pic of him on her Twitter account was October 26, and even then, she was retweeting an even older photo from a fan. This comes on top of reports from last spring, when an anonymous source claimed to have spent the night with Nida at an Atlanta Holiday Inn in March. Nida and Parks insist that he never cheated and their marriage is fine. Their planned spin-off, however, is likely canceled before it even got off the ground. His trial starts March 25.
