Justin Bieber Sued for Allegedly Going MMA on Photographer

Justin Bieber is facing a new lawsuit. But here’s the good news, Beliebers: it’s not from any new scandal! In his legal filing, Jose Osmin Hernandez Duran alleges that he was trying to snap pictures of Bieber and Selena Gomez last year in Calabasas when Justin jumped out of his Mercedes and “delivered a martial arts-type kick … in the lower rib cage on the left side of his abdomen.” From there, according to TMZ, the paparazzo says Bieber punched him in the face and pushed him against a parked vehicle. Gomez returned to the scene of the suppose crime a few moments later, grabbed her cell phone and apologized for her then-boyfriend. No word on what kind of damages Duran is seeking – but the suit actually brings up many of Justin’s past deeds, from speeding in his neighborhood to allegedly stealing the SIM card of another journalist.

Kristen Stewart Speaks on Snow White and the Huntsman

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are moving on. Not from each other. But from The Twilight Saga. Pattinson will star in Bel Ami later this year, the first trailer for which was released this week. Stewart, meanwhile, will update a classic fairy tale in Show White and the Huntsman , a possible trilogy that brought the cast together for a panel at Comic-Con this weekend. Snow White and the Huntsman Comic-Con Panel How would the actress describe her version of this well-known character? “She’s got this amazing ability to channel fear, things that people are typically very afraid of, into this really focused, really charged, driving energy,” Stewart said. “She’s also like the people’s leader and… truly doesn’t let her heart cloud her mind. [She] doesn’t let her mind get in the way of doing things she feels strongly about. Also, I get to have a sword and stuff.” Charlize Theron meanwhile, plays the Evil Queen and made us laugh with her description: “She’s dark. She’s a serial killer. I’m pretty much preparing to play a serial killer. I’m trying to ground it and make it something real. Watch out, Kristen.” Show White and the Huntsman comes out on June 1, 2012.

Steven Soderbergh Apparently Not Retiring After All

This just in from the reportedly outgoing Oscar-winner Steven Soderbergh, answering questions at Relativity Media’s panel at Comic-Con : “Matt Damon is apparently as discreet as a 14-year-old girl. I had this drunk conversation with him while shooting Contagion and four days later, I read about it in the paper. And he read it verbatim. Nobody in this economy wants to hear about someone quitting a good job. That kind of got blown out of proportion. And that’s Matt’s fault.” Aha! Cue “Blamin’ Damon” headlines in 3… 2… (And check out all of Movieline’s Comic-Con 2011 coverage here .)

Comic-Con 2009: Old Faces Return for Final Season of ‘Lost’

The Lost panel at Comic-Con is always a big deal, which is somewhat surprising given the relatively small amount of information they actually give out.
