The Bachelor / The Bachelorette Couples: Who’s Still Together?

The Bachelor's 2017 season came to a close with Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi engaged and totally, utterly, blissfully in love. Or something. Judging by the reaction of fans and Bachelor Nation members, their breakup would be immediate if not sooner. They turned out to be correct. Nick and Vanessa broke up Friday, August 25, after just five months. It turns out he was more into fame and didn't want to move to Canada. We know, who would've EVER seen that coming. At least Nick's latest breakup gave us The Bachelorette season starring Rachel Lindsay. This summer,  Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo got engaged , and while fans aren't hugely enthralled with him, they too seem in love. Will they be the new golden couple for the franchise, a la Trista and Ryan, Ashley and J.P., Jason and Molly and Desiree and Chris? Or another Juan Pablo and Nikki Ferrell, Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray, Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff? Or … Nick and Vanessa? Sorry, too soon. The point is, we can't help but wonder as we ponder the future: Who is living happily ever after? Who is not? You don't need The Bachelor spoilers to tell you that the “made it” list is a lot shorter than the other, though there are exceptions. A final rose does not a future make. Perhaps Bryan and Rachel will surprise, but with this track record, and human nature in general? We're not betting on it. Just saying. Take a look at some notable duos from The Bachelor and Bachelorette and see whether they're still together since the show: 1. Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo are a match made in heaven … or are they? Bachelor Nation seemed to prefer runner-up Peter Kraus, but Rachel went with the smooth (too smooth for some fans’ liking) doctor from Miami at the last minute. If Bryan didn’t watch the finale, which centered primarily on Peter waffling over his willingness to propose and Rachel being hung up on him? Then they might be alright. 2. Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi Look … we wished Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi all the best. That was just the least inspiring public debut from a Bachelor couple since Juan Pablo and Nikki, and it never got much better before they eventually broke up. Come on, people. We were talking about Nick Viall, who was clearly bitten hard by the fame bug, and fell for a girl who didn’t want to be in the “business” or leave Canada, where he had no interest in moving. Just saying. The odds made them a definite underdog from the start, and their five-month relationship proved skeptics correct. 3. JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers are an interesting case, both seemingly over the moon in love and behind the proverbial eight ball since day one. They certainly seem to have weathered whatever storms have been in their path thus far, but it’s still in the “honeymoon” phase, and we can’t shake the feeling that there’s more to Aaron’s little brother than we know – or that JoJo does at this point. Chances they’ll make it to the altar? 50-50. 4. Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell It was a good year, closer to a year and a half actually, which is a long time for any relationship, and Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell recently called out what they deemed as “fake news” that said they had broken up … but they canceled their wedding and just admitted that they broke up. #realnews 5. Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth have looked the part of the happy couple ever since they got engaged in August 2015. But will their engagement actually last and stand the test of time? The show’s track record suggests otherwise … but here we are a year and a half later, so the joke’s on us? 6. Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff just got engaged on The Bachelor season finale in March 2015 … only to break up in May 2015! What seemed like the perfect fit turned out to be anything but. View Slideshow

Rachel Lindsay: I Admit it, I Regret My Choice!

The first and most important news out of The Bachelorette: Men Tell All was, of course, that Dean Unglert is a clear favorite and would be perfect as the next Bachelor. We already knew that, because we have sense. Rachel Lindsay, looking back on Men Tell All and the entire season of The Bachelorette , is admitting that she regrets one decision — and would do it differently if she could. In an interview with Us Weekly , Rachel Lindsay says that if she could go back and change one thing, she would have kicked one of the suitors to the curb way, way sooner: “If I’m just honest, I’m going to be 100 percent honest, I’m just going to say one word: Lee.” That would be Lee Garrett, folks. You know, the one who got slammed for racism. “I would have sent him home sooner.” We should hope so. You might think that the first black lead on The Bachelorette (shameful that it took so many seasons, by the way) wouldn’t be an inviting bride for, you know, racists. But racism and reality television are both much, much more complicated than that. First of all, not everyone goes on reality dating shows to find the love of their life. They can’t all win, and they go into the show knowing this. Getting to appear on another show in the Bachelor Nation or even just getting more social media followers an exposure is an amazing opportunity. So long as they make a good impression. Lee Garrett did not seem like a good guy — we’re not sure what he was hoping for, unless he thought that The Bachelor was going to cast him to court Trump fans or something. As far as the idea of a racist guy trying to win the heart of a black woman goes, well, racism doesn’t make people blind. Having black friends doesn’t mean that someone isn’t racist. Having a black girlfriend or wife doesn’t mean that someone isn’t racist. (And yes, that gets extra screwed up when children enter the mix and one of their parents has all of these prejudices that apply to them, too) So … it’s sadly no surprise that Lee Garrett was competing for Rachel Lindsay’s hand. If you remember from our  The Bachelorette : Men Tell All recap , Rachel Lindsay was part of calling out Lee Garrett for racism. During the special, Lee Garrett  tried to defend his actions, which really didn’t help. During The Bachelorette , he kept getting into heated conflicts with other suitors. Those other suitors tended to have something in common with each other — they were black. Fans noticed. Just about everybody noticed. Lee’s excuse that he was “uncomfortable” and trying to “joke” to excuse his behavior … didn’t go over well. Lee wasn’t only controversial for his actions on The Bachelorette — he also got into trouble for his antics on social media before he even went on the show. Specifically, Lee Garrett’s racist tweets landed him in hot water with fans and on Men Tell All. (Dude, even if you’re going to tweet super offensive stuff for whatever reason, maybe go delete them before you become famous) They weren’t even old tweets that someone dug up — they were from within the last year. There’s just no excuse. Considering what those of you following  The Bachelorette  Spoilers  already know, there are plenty of fans who think that Rachel Lindsay made a bigger mistake than letting Lee Garrett hang around. Not everyone, to be clear. But more than a few. Actually, you don’t even need spoilers to know that  sending Dean Unglert home  before narrowing her suitors down to three was positively foolish. But Lee Garrett had to go, as much because he and she clearly wouldn’t work out as to demonstrate to viewers how unacceptable he was. But, you know, hindsight is always clearer. And Rachel Lindsay didn’t know as much about Lee Garrett at the beginning of the series as she does now. In many ways, if there were viewers who saw some of themselves in Lee Garrett and his excuses, maybe his example served as a wake-up call to them about their own choices and behaviors. Still, we wonder if, in a year or so, Rachel Lindsay won’t have a larger regret about this season. View Slideshow: The Bachelorette Fans to Rachel Lindsay: Do NOT PICK Bryan Abasolo!

Rachel Lindsay Defends Response to Peter Kraus’ Bachelorette Bombshell: Editing, People!

As The Bachelorette spoilers predicted, Rachel Lindsay’s final three men all went to Dallas and Spain with her on the penultimate episode. What no one could’ve predicted was the scrutiny Rachel would face for her response to Peter Kraus’ thoughts on (not) getting engaged. Monday’s dramatic ending of The Bachelorette featured none of the three remaining men being eliminated, but Peter dropping a bombshell. Kraus’ doubts about marriage and uncertainty about the engagement that typically comes at the Final Rose ceremony were a shocker. It’s not that anything Peter said in particular was all that shocking, but in the context of The Bachelorette , such candor is unheard of. To make a long story short, Peter told Rachel that he only wants to get engaged once, because he sees marriage as a given after that. Furthermore, he didn’t know if they were there yet as a couple, despite the fact that things are moving very positively in that direction. Sounds reasonable, right? So what’s the problem? Well, if you ask Rachel … the editing is the issue. Lindsay’s response, as seen on ABC, was basically saying that an engagement wasn’t marriage, and that she’s not looking for a boyfriend. Plenty of fans on Twitter immediately questioned why she didn’t think an engagement is akin to marriage, prompting her to reply. Rachel addressed that as such on Twitter: “This was the chopped and screwed version of my response. Obviously engagement means marriage 2 me. It’s all I talk about.” Some people defended her. One said: “I understand what Rachel means she’s not looking for a boyfriend. She wants an engagement with someone who is sure about her.” Watch The Bachelorette Season 13 Episode 9 Online Another Lindsay fan added, “That has to be so frustrating. I couldn’t imagine saying one thing and it being portrayed completely differently.” Anytime anything happens to anyone who doesn’t like it, they always hide behind editing; Rachel may have a legit gripe here, however. Without a doubt, it’s a popular show with a vested interest in keeping viewers hooked, and that was tailor made for a dramatic cliffhanger. As for Peter’s comments, many viewers applauded him for his honesty, and speaking his mind despite it breaking with show tradition. Rachel’s parents seemed skeptical that one can fall in love and commit to marriage after two months, but rarely does a suitor say this. While tons of people gave Peter props, others were suspicious, accusing him of leaving himself an out or “playing the game” with this. There’s talk (largely due to his high school yearbook comment that he would be The Bachelor) that he wants to be the next Bachelor. He may well get to live that dream. Regardless, however, it’s a bit of a stretch to think he choreographed that scene last night just to give himself some more wiggle room. As for whether this dooms Peter’s chances, Rachel wasn’t divulging any Bachelorette spoilers  (follow the link for those if you like). She did Tweet a finale teaser: “I want somebody who wants what I want AND wants it with me… Stay tuned to see who I found that w/ on the finale 2 weeks!” You can bet that we will. Obdulia Sanchez, California Teen, Livestreams Crash That Killed Sister

Obdulia Sanchez, an 18-year old from California, is under arrest after she lost control of her car over the weekend while filming a livestream for Instagram. Incredibly, and tragically, she continued to film the video after the accident took place … while her younger sister lay dying on the ground. According to The California Highway Patrol, Sanchez lost control of her 2003 Buick, drove the vehicle off the edge of the road and then over-corrected. The car eventually crashed into a barbed-wire fence and flipped over in a field. Authorities estimate that the car was going about 75 miles per hour when it crashed. Most of the incident was captured on Sanchez’s camera. After a gap in the livestream, Obdulia, who was behind the wheel at the time of the accident, can be seen seen leaning over the body of her 14-year old sister, Jacqueline, trying to shake her awake. In the background, another passenger is heard crying and screaming. Obdulia  Sanchez filmed herself singing and gesturing to the camera before a deadly crash that killed her younger sister. Police have confirmed that the two passengers were not wearing seatbelts, and that Jacqueline died at the scene of the crash. Her unnamed friend, meanwhile, survived with a leg injury. “Jacqueline, please wake up. I f-cking killed my sister, OK?” Sanchez says on the Livestream, which appeared online.  “I know I’m going to jail for life. I love my sister… this is the last thing I thought was going to happen to us.” While the surviving broke down in tears alongside her, Sanchez continued as follows: “I don’t f-ckin care though,” she said on camera, adding: “I’m a hold it down. I love you, rest in peace, sweetie.” “If you don’t survive, baby, I am so f-ckin sorry,” she continued, clearly distraught. “I did not mean to kill you, sweetie.” “Sweetie, I am f-ckin sorry. Sweetie, please, wake up!” Obdulia Sanchez was later arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and vehicular manslaughter and remains in jail with bail set at $300,000. The Merced County Sheriff Vern Warnke told ABC affiliate KFSN that the deceased was ejected from the automobile, ending her life. Jacqueline “was in the back seat of the vehicle and allegedly unseatbelted, and upon the vehicle rolling over, it ejected her and killed her.” This shocking and tragic incident comes on the heels of teens in Florida accused of taunting and filming a man as he drowned . Jacqueline Sanchez was supposed to celebrate her quinceañera on Sunday, according to a GoFundMe page set up to help cover the dead teen’s funeral expenses. Nicandro Sanchez, the father of Obdulia and her late sister, talked to this same ABC affiliate and said that he has seen the video. He and his wife Gloria are both aware of what happened and the footage of it, but believe the crash was merely an “accident.” Of the driver, he says: “What I think is she knows she’s done something wrong. Because she knows, and that’s what I feel.” She feels bad for herself, but she killed her own sister.” California Highway Patrol Sergeant Darin Heredia told BuzzFeed News that officials were “well aware” of the video. Officials currently are attempting to determine whether it’s legitimate and, if so, whether Sanchez’s phone use contributed to the crash. If so, it could be used as evidence against her in an upcoming prosecution, depending on what an examination of the video reveals. Neither Obdulia Sanchez nor a lawyer representing her could be reached for comment as of this report. She is expected in court on Wednesday for a hearing.

The Bachelorette Recap: How (Fantasy) Suite It Is … Mostly

Three men. Two roses. The Bachelorette journey of Rachel Lindsay has nearly reached its end. Which men would continue with her on it? The Bachelorette spoilers revealed this ages ago, but now it’s time to see if the predictions prove correct, or if we’re in for an epic twist. Watch The Bachelorette Season 13 Episode 9 Online Peter Kraus, Eric Bigger and Bryan Abasolo are the last men standing on ABC, as Bachelorette spoilers suggested all season long.  But what next? How did the penultimate episode play out? On  The Bachelorette Season 13 Episode 9 , Rachel took the lucky trio home to Dallas – a step typically reserved for just the top two.  There, Peter reveals that he is indeed falling in love with her, and Rachel reciprocates that feeling, even as he’s holding back a little. Rachel’s mom (her dad, a federal judge, is likely not filming for that very reason) asks more than enough questions for the both of them. Both Peter and the Lindsays are questioning the admittedly bizarre notion that getting engaged in two months is normal, and it’s refreshing. When Peter tells her mom that he’s not going to ask for her blessing to marry her because it’s not time yet, well … what can you say? He doesn’t seem to like Rachel any less, he’s just not as swept up in this admittedly ridiculous dating process we’ve come to accept. Eric Bigger, her next suitor, has not met a girlfriend’s family in seven years, and it shows in how nervous he is heading into this date. Surprisingly, it was when he made himself truly vulnerable by talking about his past struggles and emotions that he really got comfortable. Rachel’s mom does give Eric her blessing, even if it seems apparent that things with Bigger have not reached quite the same stage. He’s honest and sincere, though, including when it comes to how slowly things have been building up and how apprehensive he still is. Finally, Bryan Abasolo meets Rachel’s family, and the confidence that Peter believes is fake, arrogant swagger impresses them a lot. Bryan tells them that he truly loves Rachel, but they give him the third degree anyway, at which point Rachel pushes back against them. Can love really happen as fast as this show makes you think? Her family doubts it, even if that bothers her, and it’s surprisingly candid. Abasolo, to his credit, strikes a good balance between the factions, showing his feelings toward Rachel without pushing it too assertively. Then, having already met the family, all three men jet off to La Rioja, Spain, as the Fantasy Suite dates are next up in this year’s timeline. Who will accept that coveted card?! Eric is first up, and at the end of his date, finally manages to tell Rachel he loves her. She returns the favor, and the Fantasy Suite is on. Peter is up next, and if there was any tension beneath the surface of their date in Dallas, it’s no longer beneath anything right now. Oh no. This is all out in the open. Peter’s proposal-anxiety is front and center as he says popping the question is basically an extension of marriage, and he’s getting there. As in not there yet. Rachel cries, obviously not seeing this quite the same way, and we’re left hanging on a cliff until the finale in two weeks. Will she make the right decision? The Bachelorette Spoilers 2017: Final Three, Winner CONFIRMED! Who Does Rachel Choose?!

The Bachelorette is about to begin its 13th season on ABC. While we’ve yet to see a single episode, Rachel Lindsay’s epic journey for love has just concluded with a final rose ceremony in Spain. Customarily, The Bachelor spoilers have already leaked. Hands in the air if you’re surprised … hello? Anyone?! There are no hands in the air because  The Bachelorette spoilers  leaking before the season begins, let alone ends, is a foregone conclusion. It’s even more of a given than the winners of the previous season breaking up, which is really saying something given the show’s history! We apologize for the pessimism in what should be an uplifting time, but we tell it like it is, and they’re batting around .070. Just saying. Anyway, back to the lecture at hand, as Snoop would say: Starting Monday night, more than two dozen guys will arrive at the Bachelor mansion to begin their formal courtship with Chris Harrison. Er, sorry. With Rachel Lindsay. Here’s the full lineup” View Slideshow: The Bachelorette Suitors: Meet Rachel Lindsay’s Men! Soon, she will begin to pare down the field until only a few contenders are left and, eventually, a final rose recipient is selected. To the surprise of no one, Reality Steve (a.k.a. the Soothsayer of The Bachelorette spoilers) has already uncovered the scoop. As a result of his sleuthing, we can confirm who Rachel has already gone on hometown dates with, and who gets cut after that. Moreover, we can tell you who among her final three guys walks away from the finale engaged to the beautiful attorney from Dallas. Ready to find out exactly who the final four are, and whose life will be intensely scrutinized as soon as the season finale airs? The four dudes who make it to hometowns are: 1. Dean Unglert (above). He is a startup recruiter who has his mother’s initials tattooed on his chest. Will he add “RL” next?! 2. Bryan Abasolo (above). Dr. Bryan, as he is sometimes referred to, is a chiropractor who has spoken Spanish since he was a child. Talk about a cool and useful skill set. Will it be part of the whole package that lands him in the winner’s circle, or will it be … 3. Eric Bigger (above). This is a personal trainer who considers himself to be somewhat of a neat freak. We all have our neuroses. Also, he is jacked out of his mind. Like, shredded. Do you even lift?! We’re guessing he does … but seriously, is that an eight-pack!? Goodness gracious. 4. Peter Kraus (above). This is a business owner who has a fear of heights, according to his oh-so-revealing ABC biography. A quartet of worthy contenders, to be sure, so you know when it came down to the final three, Rachel had a tough decision. Which three to take on overnight dates (read: take into the Fantasy Suite for sexiness), and which one to send home alone? Dean Unglert, according to Steve, is eliminated, at this stage, but rest assured, he’ll be off to  Bachelor in Paradise. Phew. That leaves us with a final three of Eric Bigger, Peter Kraus and Bryan Abasolo, all of whom meet Lindsay’s family in Dallas. So, the million dollar question: Who will win the final rose, and become Rachel’s fiance at season’s end (if she picks one)?! Bryan Abasolo. Rachel is engaged to Bryan Abasolo. It’s still not clear who made the final two, or where the exit of the third-place finisher occurred, but Bryan wins, and proposed in Spain. As always, in Reality Steve’s own words, this is a lock. The man’s track record speaks for itself. Yes, he has been wrong before, but very rarely so, and he’ll cheerfully admit when he is. He’s simply spot-on accurate almost always. So between now and early August, when we expect the season finale will air, expect a whole lot of rumors, half-truths and misdirection. Maybe there will in fact be a mammoth twist that blows The Bachelorette spoilers above to smithereens at the last second. We just wouldn’t bet on it. View Slideshow: Rachel Lindsay: The Bachelorette Star in Photos! Granted, as those who follow this stuff religiously know, Steve initially told us Peter Kraus would take home the final rose, not Bryan. That prediction? Well, it’s now been amended . We’ll have more episodic details, spoilers and specifics about how everything plays out once they become available next week and beyond. We’ll also update this with any twists or inaccuracies that need correcting or addendums. Again, though, we don’t anticipate the former. As for whether love will last for Ms. Lindsay? We would not bet on it, that’s for darn sure. Which is not a knock on Rachel, but simply a commentary on the show and its track record.  Please, prove us wrong, Rachel and Bryan! Prince William Gives Rare Interview, Opens Up About Mother’s Death

We’re approaching the 20th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death. On August 31, 1997, the beloved Royal icon was killed in a car accident after a high-speed chase with a paparazzo who was in full pursuit. It was a true tragedy, one that caused the world to stop, collectively mourn and react in sheer shock and sadness. Diana, of course, left behind two sons, both of whom have grown into widely-respected, very handsome and charitable adults. But neither has spoken out very much about the most painful experience of their lives; both Prince Harry and Prince William have remained relatively quiet about the fatal incident. Until now. Giving an unusually rare and raw interview with British GQ, the Duke of Cambridge is featured in a lengthy cover story this month. He sits down with Alastair Campbell for the July issue of the magazine and talks openly about this impending anniversary… what it’s been like without his mother today for himself and his loved ones… and how he’s managed his grief in the public eye. “I am in a better place about it than I have been for a long time,” Prince William tells the publication of the horrible accident. He goes on to explain that he is now capable of talking “about her more openly [and] more honestly and I can remember her better, and publicly talk about her better.” The father of two (a three-year old named Charlotte and a two-year old named George), William adds: “It has taken me almost twenty years to get to that stage. I still find it difficult now because at the time it was so raw.” The hardest part, explains the Prince, is the fact that his mother has never met his wife or his children. “I would like to have had her advice,” he says, adding painfully. “I would love her to have met Catherine and to have seen the children grow up. It makes me sad that she won’t, that they will never know her.” The 34-year-old – who took time to honor the Manchester bombing victims last week – went on to note that unlike some people, his grief almost seem magnified due to the public nature of his unique position in British society. “It is not like most people’s grief, because everyone else knows about it, everyone knows the story, everyone knows her. “It is a different situation for most people who lose someone they love, it can be hidden away or they can choose if they want to share their story.” But William has clearly grown into a responsible, intelligent, benevolent adult. He’s a husband and a father and, by all accounts, a very good man. “I could not do my job without the stability of the family. Stability at home is so important to me,” he says. “I want to bring up my children in a happy, stable, secure world and that is so important to both of us as parents. I want George to grow up in a real, living environment, I don’t want him growing up behind palace walls, he has to be out there. “The media make it harder but I will fight for them to have a normal life.” View Slideshow: 15 Things You May Have Missed From Prince William & Kate Middleton’s Royal Wedding This issue of British GQ goes on sale on Thursday, June 1. It’s an intimate portrait of William’s life, one that gives readers a glimpse into his typically private world. We strongly recommend you pick up a copy.

The Bachelorette Recap: DeMario-MFG No He Didn’t!

With Memorial Day kicking off the unofficial start of summer, a seasonal tradition – The Bachelorette Season 13 – is back and in full swing. (And  The Bachelorette spoilers  already tell us who wins … so don’t click the link if you don’t want to know how it all plays out). You sure as heck don’t need spoilers to tell you this much: Watch The Bachelorette Season 13 Episode 2 Online Rachel Lindsay’s journey for love will not be drama-free or eye-roll free with this collection of dudes vying for love (and screen time). Honestly, this has got to be hands down the craziest crop of guys ever assembled on the hit reality TV franchise … for better or worse.  Case in point: DeMario Jackson . The shenanigans this guy pulled – which are not over yet, after last night’s cliffhanger – may well go down as the most brazen in history. We’ll get to that shortly … but DMJ will not be who Rachel Lindsay picks this season, we’ll go ahead and spoil that for you right here. Not even Bachelor superfans Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis could save this underwhelming crew from itself, but due credit for trying. The group date task was a “husband material” obstacle course that put the guys to the test … and tested viewers’ patience, as well. One lowlight? Lucas “Whaboomed” in front of Ashton and Mila, which at least made Rachel feel so sorry for him she gave him a kiss. That strategy can’t work over the long haul, can it? In any event, the group date rose went to Dean, who also got a first kiss with Rachel. Peter Kraus then got things very much back on track with a one-on-one date in which he and his gap tooth charmed Rachel to no end. He is one to watch this season. Peter got the rose, and it’s almost a surprise he didn’t earn a whole bouquet based on how wonderful their date was from start to finish. Lindsay’s second group date Monday night was with Will, Jamey, Diggy, Alex, Adam, Lee, Matt, Eric, Josiah, and yes, DeMario Jackson. DeMario was the guy that Rachel’s friends warned her about in The Bachelorette season premiere . Oh, the foreshadowing by producers! The group date featured a cameo from Kareem Abdul Jabbar and some bad basketball, though DeMario showcased some hoop skills. Life skills are a different story, however. After the game, a girl named Lexi approached Rachel while the guys were in the locker room, revealing herself as … DeMario’s girlfriend. To hear Lexi tell it, the two were dating for about seven months until he just disappeared and stopped answering her texts and calls. She had no idea what had happened to him until she saw him meeting Rachel on The Bachelor: After the Final Rose special in March. If you recall, one of Lindsay’s many franchise firsts was that she met some of her men on the finale of Nick’s season. DeMario included. Well, Lexi was PISSED, and Rachel did her best to handle the awkward situation with class as she retrieved DeMario to explain himself. He did not do a very good job. Trapped in lie after lie, he pretended not to know Lexi at first, then called her “psycho,” then dismissed the relationship as merely sexual. Then he pretended that he had mailed Lexi’s keys and broken up with her in person, though her texts proved this was not the situation. In a cringe-worthy moment, he admitted that they had enjoyed “sexual intercourse,” but the situation isn’t as bad as it looks. Or something. He asked if they could talk off-camera because this was “some personal life stuff,” but Rachel wasn’t having that for one second. “I believe you want to be here, I just don’t think you want to be here for me,” she told him after he insisted he wanted to be there. “Let me tell you something: I’m not here to be played. I’m not here to be made a joke of, which is what I feel like you’re doing right now.” “So I’m really going to need you to get the f–k out. I don’t like being f–king embarrassed, and I can’t even look at you right now.” Dammmmmmn! Eventually, he left in shame; Josiah ultimately got the rose and Rachel did some more kisses in as the other guys expressed sympathy. The silver lining, as she noted, was that as bad as DeMario was, the other guys really stepped up afterward to prove their true intentions. In the closing moments, however, DeMario decided that he simply could not depart without having one last conversation with Rachel. Security agreed … to bring in the venerable Chris Harrison to decide if he should in fact be allowed such a privilege after his conduct. As the credits began to roll, the other guys got wind of hisreturn and rushed outside because DeMario “needs to get his ass whooped.” Now that’s a cliffhanger.
