Arie Luyendyk Jr.: Dragged by Bachelor Alumni Over Failed Relationship!

Be warned, folks — there are some The Bachelor Spoilers in this post. Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s explosive choice — and then his jaw-dropping and frankly horrifying decision a few weeks after the finale was filmed — have been aired. Now Bachelor alums Jordan Rodgers and Sean Lowe, each living happily ever after with the women they fell in love with on television, are weighing in. And throwing shade. The Bachelor ‘s finale was a wild ride last night, with viewers pulled along a roller coaster of emotions. Probably the most commonly expressed reactions on Twitter were shock, horror, and disgust. All directed at Arie Luyendyk Jr. Some directed at ABC. But former stars who found love on camera and kept their relationships intact are speaking out. During the broadcast, Jordan Rodgers tweeted: “WOW!!! The drama is UNBEARABLE!! … San Antonio’s is only up 1 over Memphis with 9 min to go in the 3rd Quarter.” As fake-outs go, that one is fine. Rodgers later commented on how he found love with JoJo Fletcher and won Season 12 of The Bachelorette . “I mean….some llamas and a cool breeze would’ve been nice, but 120 degrees and some smelly armpits was our story. Wouldn’t change a thing! (Except some stronger antiperspirant) #babe” JoJo faced a tough choice, but she chose Jordan and it looks like things have worked out just fine for them. They may not be married yet, but they’re happily cohabitating in Texas. Any Bachelor finale is a time to reflect on how he found love on television, but he has to be thanking his lucky stars that he and JoJo haven’t ended things at all — and especially that they haven’t ended things like Arie did with Becca Kufrin. Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici are a shining example that yes, you really can find lasting love on camera. These two have been married for three years and have a young son together. Sean took to Instagram to reflect on the season … and to promote ethically sourced diamonds. “Well, Arie’s crazy season has come to an end (kinda) and the finale of course reminded me of my time on The Bachelor when I proposed to Catherine in Thailand.” And they’ve been together ever since. “That moment on bended knee, placing the diamond ring on her finger was one of the very best moments of my life.” Here comes the plug that had him tagging his own post with “#ad.” “Catherine would have married me regardless of what kind of ring I gave her, but knowing she has an ethically sourced real diamond that she can pass down to our future daughter is pretty special.” Honestly, you can’t blame the guy for seizing the opportunity to make a little Instagram cash. Catherine got in on the action, too. She wrote: “They said our love wasn’t real. They said we couldn’t make it, and over 4 years (and almost 2 babies!) later, here we are.” Her post was also an “#ad” … and a Throwback Tuesday. “Throwing this Tuesday back to that magical moment, and this beautiful ethically-sourced diamond engagement ring.” Arie picked Becca Kufrin. The season and contest and love story were supposed to be over. Instead, after a few weeks, Becca endured the worst Bachelor heartbreak when Arie changed his mind. Arie called ABC and had their cameras come witness him as he ended his relationship with Becca and went running back to the runner-up, Lauren Burnham. Amazingly, Lauren — who was noted for being fairly quiet all season — took him back. Becca, in the mean time, was left devastated. It almost defies belief, but it appears that Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham are still together . That said, some wonder if Arie will have yet another change of heart in a few weeks or if Lauren was the one he should have chosen at the finale. However, some wonder if Arie is any more committed to Lauren than he was to Becca. Bekah Martinez, one of the Bachelor Nation’s favorite contestants this year and notably the youngest, exposed Arie’s DMs to the world. Was he just reaching out to his ex … or was he fishing to see if she was still interested? If so, how many other women has he messaged? The Bachelor / The Bachelorette Couples: Who’s Still Together?

The Bachelor's 2017 season came to a close with Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi engaged and totally, utterly, blissfully in love. Or something. Judging by the reaction of fans and Bachelor Nation members, their breakup would be immediate if not sooner. They turned out to be correct. Nick and Vanessa broke up Friday, August 25, after just five months. It turns out he was more into fame and didn't want to move to Canada. We know, who would've EVER seen that coming. At least Nick's latest breakup gave us The Bachelorette season starring Rachel Lindsay. This summer,  Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo got engaged , and while fans aren't hugely enthralled with him, they too seem in love. Will they be the new golden couple for the franchise, a la Trista and Ryan, Ashley and J.P., Jason and Molly and Desiree and Chris? Or another Juan Pablo and Nikki Ferrell, Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray, Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff? Or … Nick and Vanessa? Sorry, too soon. The point is, we can't help but wonder as we ponder the future: Who is living happily ever after? Who is not? You don't need The Bachelor spoilers to tell you that the “made it” list is a lot shorter than the other, though there are exceptions. A final rose does not a future make. Perhaps Bryan and Rachel will surprise, but with this track record, and human nature in general? We're not betting on it. Just saying. Take a look at some notable duos from The Bachelor and Bachelorette and see whether they're still together since the show: 1. Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo are a match made in heaven … or are they? Bachelor Nation seemed to prefer runner-up Peter Kraus, but Rachel went with the smooth (too smooth for some fans’ liking) doctor from Miami at the last minute. If Bryan didn’t watch the finale, which centered primarily on Peter waffling over his willingness to propose and Rachel being hung up on him? Then they might be alright. 2. Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi Look … we wished Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi all the best. That was just the least inspiring public debut from a Bachelor couple since Juan Pablo and Nikki, and it never got much better before they eventually broke up. Come on, people. We were talking about Nick Viall, who was clearly bitten hard by the fame bug, and fell for a girl who didn’t want to be in the “business” or leave Canada, where he had no interest in moving. Just saying. The odds made them a definite underdog from the start, and their five-month relationship proved skeptics correct. 3. JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers are an interesting case, both seemingly over the moon in love and behind the proverbial eight ball since day one. They certainly seem to have weathered whatever storms have been in their path thus far, but it’s still in the “honeymoon” phase, and we can’t shake the feeling that there’s more to Aaron’s little brother than we know – or that JoJo does at this point. Chances they’ll make it to the altar? 50-50. 4. Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell It was a good year, closer to a year and a half actually, which is a long time for any relationship, and Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell recently called out what they deemed as “fake news” that said they had broken up … but they canceled their wedding and just admitted that they broke up. #realnews 5. Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth have looked the part of the happy couple ever since they got engaged in August 2015. But will their engagement actually last and stand the test of time? The show’s track record suggests otherwise … but here we are a year and a half later, so the joke’s on us? 6. Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff just got engaged on The Bachelor season finale in March 2015 … only to break up in May 2015! What seemed like the perfect fit turned out to be anything but. View Slideshow

The Real Housewives of New York Season 9 Episode 1 Recap: Talk of the Town

It would not be a Real Housewives of New York City premiere without a good old cheating claim to get the drama started.  On The Real Housewives of New York City Season 9 Episode 1 , LuAnn De Lesseps was shocked to hear about a new cheating claim about her fiancé, Tom D’Agostino.  When the episode got underway, we picked up with Bethenny Frankel who opened up about her divorce from Jason Hoppy. Plot twist: It was finally over! Bethenny revealed she got her apartment sold within 24 hours at the price she wanted for it. That’s practically unheard of but pretty great for Bethenny.  We then switched gears to LuAnn, who was still excited about her wedding. If you watch The Real Housewives of New York City online , you will remember the string of cheating allegations against Tom.  She opened up to her good friend Dorinda Medley about the wedding during a stroll in Central Park. She also dropped the bomb that she only wanted positive energy at the event.  That probably ruled out the likes of Bethenny and Sonja attending.  “The group is fractured,” Dorinda acknowledged to the camera. “I hope that as a group, we can get past it, but when it comes to Sonja, I just don’t know.” Dorinda revealed that Sonja had been trashing her at any given opportunity.  “It’s not going to end well if she keeps it up,” Dorinda claimed. LuAnn dropped the bomb that Ramona Singer had called Tom’s ex-girlfriend in the middle of the night to try to get dirt on him.  That’s desperation right there.  View Slideshow: Ramona Singer And Her Eyes: 13 Ramotional Moments Later, Dorinda stopped by Carole’s apartment, and they got talking about the drama from the previous season.  “I feel bad that we really got off-track,” Dorinda said. “It hurt my feelings.” The ladies then decided to keep things “light and bright.” The best part of the season premiere was when Ramona and LuAnn met for lunch to hash out their issues.  “I heard it through the grapevine through friends that you’ve been stirring things up and being negative about Tom and I,” Luann said. “Why would you go and call people that Tom knows and try to find out stuff about him and his past?” Ramona blatantly lied, saying she was not seeking the information and that people were offering it up to her. She claimed it did not matter because LuAnn wanted to be kept in the dark about the past.  Ramona then revealed that Tom was on a date with one of his ex-girlfriends. LuAnn seemed in denial and thought this other woman was trying to ruin her nuptials.  View Slideshow: Real Housewives All Stars: Who Should Be Cast? “Why would she want to lie?” Ramona asked. LuAnn tried to reasons with Ramona, but Ramona was too concerned about LuAnn’s future to care.  “I know what I have,” Luann barked. “I am strong as a woman.” “You should advise your husband-to-be that it’s a very small city,” Ramona warned. “It’s a very small city. Tell him to reel it in.” LuAnn then urged Ramona to be happy for her.  “I toast to your marriage, and I hope you don’t fall on your face with him,” Ramona said. “I’m afraid he’s going to hurt you.” Something tells us there’s a lot of drama on the way for these two! JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers Vacation In Fiji: See The Pics!

Are JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers actually going strong? The Bachelorette duo had their PDA on for some Instagram pictures of a romantic getaway to Fiji, but are they for real? Given the never-ending rumors about the state of their relationship , it’s difficult to understand what story JoJo and Jordan are selling to keep the dough coming in from their stint on the reality series.  Both JoJo and Jordan hit up Instagram to share pictures of the vacation, and they looked like they were having an awesome time.  The picture above looks like an ad campaign for some sort of his and her swimwear line. Right? It is pretty crazy how many people thought these two would be over within. It’s now been over a year since they first met and they seem happier than ever.  Their wedding is still very much on the horizon, but could they still go the way of the flip phone? The thing about Bachelor Nation couples is that they can appear to be smiling for the cameras, but then you hear about their relationship ending a few days later.  Hopefully, we’re wrong, and they will make it down the aisle. Hey, the franchise would probably look like the worst way of finding love if another couple bit the bullet.  Ever since meeting on The Bachelorette Season 12 last year, it has been as clear as day there was something between Fletcher and Rodgers.  But rumors can ruin a relationship. Will they be able to defy the odds and live together for a long and prosperous relationship? The producers are probably hoping so.  There were rumblings that the pair could be getting a televised wedding late last year, but nothing every materialized.  They have been less prominent in the media since The Bachelor Season 21 debuted. That could be attributed to Corinne Olympios hogging all the Bachelor Nation spotlight.  What do you think about all of this? Sound off below! Aaron Rodgers: Estranged From Family Because of Olivia Munn?

Last year, we reported on rumors that Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers had cut ties with his family , including his brother, Bachelorette Season 12 winner, Jordan Rodgers. It was Jordan who first told the media that Aaron was not on speaking terms with his parents and siblings. The rumors disappeared from the tabloids for several months, but now just like Mr. Discount Double-Check in the playoffs, they’re back and better than ever. Okay, maybe not “better,” so much as significantly more detailed. The story’s no less sad, but now we might know a little bit more about how it all began. And as it turns out, the Rodgers haven’t been feuding for very long. The latest comes from a new report published by Radar Online. A source close to the family tells Radar that it was an argument between Jordan and Aaron’s girlfriend, Olivia Munn, that led to the burning of the bridges. Aaron and Olivia began dating in the spring of 2014, and apparently it wasn’t long after they became an item that she and Jordan butted heads: “Olivia and Aaron’s brother Jordan had a huge blowout fight a couple years back in LA. Jordan accused Olivia of using Aaron to boost her fame and status,” says the insider. “The fight started over Jordan accusing her of not allowing Aaron time to spend with his family and escalated from there to Jordan calling her fame hungry.” It’s a bit of an odd accusation as Munn was famous in her own right well before she started dating Rodgers, but it seems the confrontation had a lasting impact: “A lot of the family hates her,” the insider says about Munn. For quite some time, no one on either side of the conflict spoke about it with the press, but last week Aaron and Jordan’s father, Ed Rodgers, spoke about the feud in an interview with the New York Times, stating that he believes fame has changed Aaron for the worse. For his part, Aaron has declined to comment, but sources say he’s focusing on football these days and won’t be “crying to Oprah” about his family situation any time soon. Radar’s source says that Olivia and Jordan are both still angry, and it seems unlikely that their disagreement will be resolved any time soon: “She can be really combative,” says the insider. “Jordan had told Aaron before the final fight that she wasn’t good for him. It seems like she will do anything to keep him from his family simply because they don’t like her.” Aaron’s Packers will square off against the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC Championship Game on Sunday. Jordan Rodgers Finally Breaks Silence on Aaron Rodgers Feud: It’s Not My Focus!

Watching JoJo Fletcher get engaged to Jordan Rodgers last night on the season finale of The Bachelorette , all we could think of was: What does Aaron Rodgers think about all this?! While we’ve heard Aaron Rodgers comment , basically via “no comment,” last night was Jordan’s first night in public with his new fiancee. In other words, the first time someone could hit Aaron’s little brother with the million-dollar question of what the hell is up between them. It’s been a weird confluence of factors for weeks: Jordan’s lack of relationship with Aaron has become a major focal point of his story. This has been the case on and off the reality show on which he’s starring … and he seems incredibly uncomfortable talking about it. They don’t speak (the last known photo of them together, below, is 4-5 years old and also features Kevin from The Office for some reason). Jordan simultaneously loves the position he’s in, and attention he gets, from being Aaron’s brother, yet wishes he weren’t at the same time. In a way, it’s the perfect contradiction, and summation of the season: From the onset, JoJo seemed both intensely drawn to and turned off by Jordan, fittingly the subject of major tabloid speculation throughout. The handsome, smooth-talking jock, Jordan was an early favorite. But … he was also the bad boy that the other guys loved to hate, whose ex put him on blast , and whose famous brother won’t talk to him . Despite a late charge by Robby Hayes – whose downfall may be that he shares many of Jordan’s bad boy qualifies – JoJo picked Rodgers. Is she now regretting it? She’s putting on a good front, but … On the After the Final Rose special airing immediately after the finale, Fletcher spoke about the hard times she and Jordan have endured. Facing claims from tabloids that couldn’t be refuted without giving away The Bachelorette spoilers , JoJo and JoRo were in a tough spot. They were not, however, in a new one whatsoever. This happens every season, it’s just that Jordan Rodgers’ personal drama is SO BAD that it became a national story in and of itself. If anything, the fact that they’re struggling with it is either an indication of that, or the relative strength of their relationship (or lack thereof). But we digress. Back to the subject at hand here: Regardless of how long for this world these two hotties may be as the franchise’s new Golden Couple, host Chris Harrison finally went there. “About the rift with your brother Aaron, has anything come of that?” Harrison said, putting it all out there point blank as Jordan squirmed. As you can see above, their faces said it all. Jordan tried to dodge the subject, which he clearly doesn’t want to touch with a ten-foot pole, talking about how he’s moving to Dallas for JoJo!  Pressed a second time, a visibly awkward JoJo shot daggers at Harrison with her eyes and said simply, “It’s not the focus for us right now.” And there you have it. It being jack s–t. Why did JoJo pick Jordan Rodgers (hopefully not for the Packers tickets)? Will the love these two share last a lifetime, or fizzle fast? And … again, what in the heck played out between Jordan and Aaron Rodgers, and what does the Super Bowl MVP think of all this? The Bachelorette Recap: Dear Mr. Fantasy Suite …

Who was sent home … at the beginning, and the end of last night’s show? Were The Bachelorette spoilers on point, or was there a major twist? Watch The Bachelorette Season 12 Episode 9 Online These were the questions on  The Bachelorette Season 12 Episode 9 , which picked up in the wake of last week’s rose ceremony cliffhanger. A cliffhanger that was indeed a heartbreaker for one suitor. Despite Luke Pell’s last ditch effort to proclaim his love for JoJo Fletcher and keep his run on the ABC show alive, he was sent home. “I started to struggle not knowing where you stood,” JoJo told Luke, who would bawl in the limo. “I just can’t believe I squandered it away.” “I had no idea that I wasn’t saying enough.” “I feel like a person that’s been hit by a train,” he added. “I thought we had a future together. I woulda been ready to propose to her today.” Laying it on a little thick, don’t you think, Luke? Don’t get us wrong, we thought Chase McNary would be shown the door before Pell. Would Chase stand a prayer against the top two? We say the top two because Jordan Rodgers and Robby Hayes were the clear favorites to earn Fantasy Suite cards and a trip to the finale. That’s exactly what happened in beautiful Thailand. Just about the only thing that could keep Jordan and JoJo off of each other was the fact that kissing wasn’t allowed in an ancient temple. They didn’t stay there for long, we’re guessing. Still, despite their chemistry and connection, JoJo can’t help but wonder if there’s something about Aaron Rodgers’ brother she’s missing. “I want to trust him, but if I trust him it scares me a lot to feel like I could possibly have my heart broken,” Fletcher said of her #1 suitor. “I’m hoping at some point all those fears go away.” Don’t hold your breath, from what we’re hearing. Aaron Rodgers vs. Jordan Rodgers: Timeline of a Football Family Feud! He says all the appropriate things, though, which is part of the issue with this guy. So smooth. Probably said this to Brittany Farrar too: “In the past month, ever since I told you I love you, when I think about that wedding day, when I think about getting on a knee, it’s with you.” Robby Hayes would not be happy to see this. He was confident that he and JoJo would end up together, even though he and  Hope Higginbotham broke up about 45 seconds before this season. We kid … and yet not. Rumors of Robby Hayes cheating would be a huge story this season if Jordan Rodgers’ past weren’t even shadier. Yet Hayes, like Rodgers, says all the right stuff: “I want you to know that I’m not like the guys in your past. I’m not gonna say those three important words and then cop out early and walk away.” JoJo’s take? “There’s a way that he looks at me that makes me just know that what he’s saying is true, and I trust him, and I believe him.” Bottom line? Chase had no shot at moving on. View Slideshow: The Bachelor & Bachelorette: 27 Most Stunning Exits Even though he told JoJo he was “100% in love” with her, she knew what she had to do and tried to let him down as easily as she could. It didn’t go well. “Now, I’m shattered,” he said. “So now love equals gets the f–k out? That was so f–k terrifying for me to say, and now look at where I end up.” Fortunately, after being sent home, he surprised Fletcher at the rose ceremony – not to beg for another shot, but to smooth things over. Actually a nice gesture from a good guy. One who just didn’t have the same connection with her as Jordan Rodgers and Robby Hayes. So among those final two men, who do you think will prevail and claim the final rose, and will JoJo regret it within a week or even less? Melania Trump RNC Speech: Ganked from Michelle Obama?

The Republican National Convention kicked off from Cleveland on Monday night. And it didn't take long for this Donald Trump lovefest to generate its first scandal. From Willie Robertson or Scott Baio ? Not really, even though the #NeverTrump crowd likely was not a fan of anything these “celebrities” had to say. Rather, the first scandal of the week came courtesy of The Donald's wife, Melania Trump. “From a young age my parents impressed on me the values that you work hard for what you want in life; that your word is your bond and you do what you say and keep your promise; that you treat people with respect,” Melania said on stage. “They taught and showed me values and morals in their daily life.” Sounds great and inspiring, right? The sort of thing a First Lady-to-be would say in such a circumstance? Melania went on to add: “That is a lesson that I continue to pass along to our son, and we need to pass those lessons on to the many generations to follow. “Because we want our children in this nation to know that the only limit to your achievements is the strength of your dreams and your willingness to work for them.” Again, good stuff. But plagiarized stuff? Critics were quick to note similarities between Trump's speech here and Michelle Obama's 2008 speech at the Democratic National Convention. Barack and I were raised with so many of the same values: that you work hard for what you want in life; that your word is your bond and you do what you say you're going to do; that you treat people with dignity and respect, even if you don't know them, and even if you don't agree with them , Obama said eight years ago. She continued at the time: And Barack and I set out to build lives guided by these values, and pass them on to the next generation. Because we want our children – and all children in this nation – to know that the only limit to the height of your achievements is the reach of your dreams and your willingness to work for them. Speaking to Matt Lauer on MSNBC prior to the event , Melania said of her upcoming speech: “I read once over it and that's all. Because I wrote it with as little help as possible. I'm excited.” This is what Donald Trump said about his wife's speech on Monday night and what he said in 2008 about that of Michelle Obama: Was Melania subconsciously influenced by Obama? Did she outright gank her material? Listen and watch the speech below and decide for yourself.
