Javi Marroquin and Madison Walls: It’s Over Already!

We hope you can make it through this article in one piece, but Javi Marroquin and Madison Walls have just ended their brief relationship. They were together two weeks … but what an intense two weeks! E! News confirmed the breakup Monday, as did Radar Online , with both celebrity gossip sites saying the two just got along better platonically. Translated: Madison totally broke up with him. She’s introduced her one-year-old daughter to three new guys already, so this is sort of her thing, plus Javi craves female attention like it’s his job. Also … have you seen Madison? Javi’s sticking to the company line publicly, anyway, saying “we just decided being friends is better off” when asked by Radar why they split. Rumors of the duo’s demise began circulating almost as quickly as they got together when they scrubbed each other from social media. Ah, love in the late 2010s. The Real World: Skeletons star was previously in a relationship Tony Raines , with whom she shares aforementioned daughter Harper. Marroquin, meanwhile, was married to Kailyn Lowry. Kailyn is expecting her third child , and has yet to publicly name the dad, a point of contention with Javi (the father of her second son). Before divorcing Marroquin, Lowry insisted she didn’t want more kids, making her surprise third pregnancy sting even more for him. Raines, for his part, says things are all good with Walls, though he expressed his reservations about the couple’s relationship as well: “It was really sudden but with Madison, we have a really good relationship … she’s just awesome with Harper. I am really thankful for that.” “I find it kind of interesting. I’m really happy for her.” “Interesting” isn’t what we’d call a ringing endorsement, but it doesn’t sound like he was too upset (nor does he have to worry now anyway). Raines said of Marroquin, “I’ve seen Javi a few times on the show and as far as I can tell, you know, he’s a military guy and that’s awesome.” “I see how he is with children and that’s very commendable. So, I’m pretty excited for Madison. I think she deserves a good guy and happiness.” “I think with this the sky is the limit for them.” Apparently not, but unlike Javi’s breakup with Lowry, he told Radar that they ended it on good terms, and he’s handling the split “great.” Nor has he wasted any time getting back out there, as he spent the weekend celebrating his graduation from Airman Leadership School. As for Lowry, she’s focusing on welcoming her third child with the mystery baby daddy this summer, and hopefully, with Javi in her corner. They may not be together, but there has been a thaw in the icy relations between them (at least until his or her new books come out). Javi recently clapped back at Twitter trolls who were dragging Kailyn, saying, “At the end of the day that isn’t cool. That’s my sons mother.” “We’ve put everything behind us to raise our son the right way.” That was pretty big news to those who watch Teen Mom 2 online … or anyone who keeps up with Marroquin and Lowry in general. Or something? Anyway, we wish all parties the best, especially the pregnant Kailyn, who was reportedly furious about Javi dating a former heroin addict. It’s not clear if that was true or just a rumor, but no matter. Javi and Madison are single again … at least as of the time this post went live. They move on pretty quickly as we know. Look for new Instagram photos of Javi with his latest blonde girlfriend by early June at the latest.

Kesha’s Head-To-Toe Cat Print Makes Us Want To Join Her Feline Cult

When Kesha announced her intentions to start a cult based entirely around cats, we (naturally) had our reservations. Sure, the idea sounded tempting when she explained it to E! News earlier this month: “So I’m going to start a cult and people can be in it if they like to be cats or play with… Read more »

Dree Hemingway Strips for some Campaign of the Day

Dree Hemingway is Ernest Hemingway’s great granddaughter, a relationship she probably never shuts the fuck up about, you know pretending that she wants to break free from his evil literary genius that provided her the good life spell….but deep down inside…and really anytime a restaurant fucks up her reservations….she goes into the “do you know who I am…”….rant..I can assume it was the same rant that made her a model…a model who gets naked but doesn’t show nipple for obscure ad campaigns….no fun.

Is Paula Deen the Most Dangerous Person in America?

As any viewer of the Travel Channel knows, Anthony Bourdain is not one to hold back an opinion. Typically, it’s related to food. But the No Reservations host expounded on his views in a recent interview with TV Guide Magazine, saying of celebrity chef Paula Deen: “The worst, most dangerous person to America is clearly Paula Deen. She revels in unholy connections with evil corporations and she’s proud of the fact that her food is f–king bad for you… plus, her food sucks.” Deen was not the only well-known personality to feel Bourdain’s wrath (“Does [Rachael Ray] even cook anymore? I don’t know why she bothers. To her credit, she never said she was good at it.”), but it’s safe to say she got the worst of it. What do you think? Is Deen the worst person in America?

DMX Released From Jail

‘It is time to let the Dog out of the kennel,’ rapper’s manager says in a statement announcing the release. By Gil Kaufman DMX (file) Photo: Getty Images It took a week longer than he anticipated, thanks to some jailhouse violations, but DMX was released from an Arizona state jail in Yuma on Tuesday morning (July 19) after serving nearly eight months of a one-year sentence for probation violations . A spokesperson for the rapper (born Earl Simmons) confirmed his release to MTV News and hinted that the end of X’s latest stint behind bars will hopefully mark a new beginning for the troubled MC. “Earl has so much more to offer the world,” manager Nakia Walker said in a statement announcing X’s release. “His latest project has been on hold for so long! It is now time for X to redefine the world of Hip-Hop with his highly anticipated album of inspirational, painful & street accredited rhymes. It is time to let the Dog out of the kennel.” “I spoke to my daughter, I just got off the phone with my wife,” DMX told AllHipHop.com following his release. “I’m going to go see my daughter while the sun is up, then I’m going to be in the studio, man.” Though the Yonkers, New York, native’s music career has been stalled out for much of the past eight years due to legal and drug issues, he has signed a label deal with UMMG (United Music & Media Group), and Walker has promised “extraordinary things happening from rapper DMX over the next couple months that include collaborations with major names in the music industry.” DMX was slated for release last week after serving seven months of his one-year sentence — including credit for 100 days behind bars while awaiting trial — but was held over for an extra week due to several minor infractions, including refusal to submit to a drug test and smoking in unauthorized areas. Mila Kunis Thinks ‘Friends With Benefits’ Relationships Can Work

Co-stars Bryan Greenberg, Patricia Clarkson aren’t so sure. By Amy Wilkinson Mila Kunis Photo: MTV News In spite of the rather raunchy, nearly naked ad campaign for “Friends With Benefits,” the movie’s all-star cast, including Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis, turned up fully clothed at the romantic comedy’s world premiere Monday night at New York City’s Ziegfeld Theatre. But on a hot, sweltering night devoted to celebrating no-strings-attached relationships, the topic of sex came up early and often. So, of course, we had to ask the film’s stars if they thought a friends-with-benefits relationship like the one depicted in writer/director Will Gluck’s July 22 release could really work long-term. “Not in my life because I’ve tried it and failed miserably,” laughed Bryan Greenberg, who plays one of Kunis’ suitors. For the most part, Greenberg’s co-stars were of the same opinion. Jenna Elfman, who plays Timberlake’s sister, said, “I’ve been with my husband for 20 years, so I haven’t first-hand attempted a friends-with-benefits lifestyle.” But she still had her reservations: “I really, frankly, don’t think it’s workable.” “For some people, yes; for me, not so much,” Patricia Clarkson agreed. Even Gluck, the film’s writer/director, admitted he thinks it’s an impossible undertaking. “I think the scenario works very briefly and in college — everyone else is kidding themselves.” The sole dissenter was Kunis, who said it all depends on your definition of “works.” “Sure! I mean, you get upgraded or downgraded; it switches and takes different positions. You get promoted, or you get fired.” Do you think a friends-with-benefits relationship can work? A Tribe Called Quest Say Nas ‘Initiated’ Documentary

But soon, the crew recalls to MTV News, Michael Rapaport took the reins. By Jayson Rodriguez, with reporting by Sway Calloway A Tribe Called Quest’s Q-Tip Photo: MTV News A Tribe Called Quest were approached with the idea of doing a documentary, and they couldn’t have been happier with the producer. Fellow Queens native Nas first introduced the idea of capturing the story of one of hip-hop’s greatest groups of all time. But by the time filming began, Nas receded into the background as actor Michael Rapaport took control of the project. ” ‘I want to shoot a documentary on you,’ ” Q-Tip told MTV News, recalling a conversation with Rapaport. “I had already breached Nas with the guys, and everyone was loving that idea. So I was thinking in my head … It’d be great to have someone we respect tell our story, who’s a part of it as well, and then Mike’s enthusiasm. I spoke to everyone about it. It was some hesitation [about Rapaport’s involvement]. … I think it was because Nas had initiated it.” Jarobi, who joined Sway by phone, added: “The Nas involvement kind of sweetened the deal for everybody.” According to Tribe DJ Ali Shaheed Muhammad, his reservations came from Rapaport not being part of the hip-hop community. “My hesitation was purely from a position that we’re bringing someone from the outside to be a part of the inside life,” he said. “We have to make sure that people understand who this family is and capture it and deliver it the same way we live our lives. It didn’t matter if it was a rapper or not. Nas being part of it is good, ’cause it’s someone from the inside who, from a producer’s perspective, makes sure everything is what it’s supposed to be.” The project has been controversial, with Q-Tip speaking out against Rapaport and the actor still moving forward with the doc, called “Beats, Rhymes and Life: The Travels of A Tribe Called Quest.” Tip said the friction stemmed in part from the group’s lack of control over the story, despite being listed as producers. An e-mail from the production team was inadvertently sent Tip’s way, the rapper told MTV News, detailing plans to silence the group. That was one too many red flags for him. “All of this stuff is going on, and we’re still trying to move forward in good faith, and we see this e-mail, inadvertently, which was a godsend,” he said. “I believe that that was the universe giving that to us and showing us who we were dealing with.” Stick with MTV News all week as we reveal more of our interview with A Tribe Called Quest and their concerns about the “Beats, Rhymes and Life” documentary.
