Florida Man Stabs Roommate Over Towels An argument regarding a dirty bathroom towel ended in a drunk Cape Coral man slashing his roommate with a box cutter. Via News Press : Police arrested John Kevin Herrick, 54, on a charge of aggravated battery using a deadly weapon, the Cape Coral Police Department said Friday. On the way to the home, about 7:30 p.m. Thursday, officers heard from a dispatcher that a man had cut his roommate and ran away. As they investigated, officers found that Herrick, who police said was intoxicated, and his roommate were arguing about the towel, but the shouting match turned physical when a box cutter fell out of Herrick’s work belt. “Herrick began slashing his roommate’s legs with box cutter when the tide of the fight turned against him,” police said. Then he ran. Emergency personnel took the roommate to an area hospital. When Herrick saw the ambulance, he went back home. Police arrested him and took him to Lee County Jail where he remains with a bail of $100,000. Herrick has been in jail twice before on drunk driving charges, most recently about 10 months ago. You can’t be serious!

Earlier today, we reported that Marilyn Manson was punched in the face while enjoying some gourmet cuisine at a Denny’s in Alberta, Canada. Sadly, the culprit was not longtime Manson rival Courtney Love , but some unidentified Canadian who, we’re guessing, was made to feel a like a real hoser and threw his mittens to the floor, hockey-style, before the fight. Initial reports stated that someone in Manson’s entourage had called a woman at another table a “b-tch,” and an argument broke out that quickly turned physical. Now, Manson is refuting that claim and insisting that he was actually the victim of a violent attack from a lone psycho. According to TMZ, Manson says he was sucker punched by a man who then threatened to detonate a bomb at his next concert. Scary stuff. And we’re not talking about the kind of scary that’s made Manson his millions. Sources close to the 46-year-old rocker say that he plans to return to Alberta in order to press charges against his attacker. Reps for Manson claim that in addition to throwing a punch, the guy elbowed Marilyn’s makeup artist in the face. Come on! It’s not bad enough this woman has to apply an inch-thick layer of pancake makeup to a middle-aged man’s face for a living? Now people are dropping ‘bows on her at Denny’s, too?! Therese Serignese says Cosby drugged and raped her in 1976, and Linda Traitz alleges he tried to drug her and then sexually groped her in 1970. The latter two women joined the suit after it was filed, and together, the women all argue that Cosby has branded them as liars through his representatives. They are seeking an unspecified amount of money for compensatory and punitive damages, and perhaps just as importantly, to make their case publicly. Their lawyers have also claimed that the civil action allows the women to have their allegations heard since criminal statutes of limitation have expired. Cosby has denied wrongdoing and hasn’t been charged with a crime. He has, however, axed or postponed more than 12 shows on his comedy tour amid allegations by numerous women that he sexually abused them. His team’s statement that it will ask for the lawsuit’s dismissal came in a status update filed jointly by Cosby’s lawyers and lawyers for the three women. The sides have been in talks this month to resolve a number of issues related to the lawsuit, according to the filing, even though they have yet to settle it. Cosby’s motion to dismiss will deal with “any issues that by that time have not been resolved through conference” between the sides, says the brief. Lawyers for the accusers would have until March 20 to file a reply to the motion to dismiss. Cosby’s lawyers would then have until April 8 to respond to that. More than two dozen women have made similar claims against Cosby, although these three and Chloe Goins are among the few to pursue legal options. According to police records, Jenelle was booked at 3 pm yesterday and spent an unknown period of time in a South Carolina detention center before being freed on $237.00 bail. Shortly after her release, Jenelle responded to concern from fans and criticism from haters by retweeting a friend who had attempted to clarify the incident online: “Yall chill she paid a speeding tick 3 days late in 2013 & license was just suspended recently & she had no idea. It’s cleared up. It’s all good.” While things may be “cleared up,” they’re almost certainly not “all good.” Jenelle is fighting for custody of her 5-year-old son Jace, and this latest scrape with the law is unlikely to help her case. Last week, Nathan Griffith flirted with Stevie Ryan on Twitter and extensively trash-talked his fiancee, Jenelle Evans, in the process. After the message exchange went public, we assumed that would be it for the troubled couple, but astonishingly, Nathan and Jenelle are still together . Given what we’ve seen of Jenelle’s notorious temper, we find it a bit strange that she and Nathan were able to weather this storm so easily. And it seems we’re not the only ones: In response to tabloid reports that Griffith had publicly apologized to Jenelle, Stevie decided to set the record straight: “Jenelle, deleting his Twitter is not apologizing,” Ryan tweeted to Evans today. It’s a good point, though we’re sure Griffith did his fair share of groveling in private. Friends say it’s not so surprising that Jenelle decided to give Nathan a second chance, as she’s setting the bar pretty low these days: “Nathan never cheated on Jenelle,” one insider tells Radar Online. “He just made her mad, that’s all. This week on Teen Mom 2, Kailyn Lowry finally tied the knot and Chelsea Houska graduated from beauty school, but obviously Jenelle Evans made the headlines. Getting arrested for failing a drug test will typically do that. Leah Messer also had a heartbreaking fight with her husband, Jeremy Calvert, making for a memorable Teen Mom 2 Season 5 Episode 10 for all four stars. Jenelle Evans ‘ legal problems ironically took place in an episode where she was headed to court because of prior heroin charges, and cut a deal to avoid jail. Nathan Griffith had a feeling something might have been amiss, though, and not just because Courtland Rogers shows up creeping in the parking lot. Just as Jenelle’s plea deal is accepted, the judge blindsides her with a drug test, which she fails (marijuana) and leaves her shaking win abject terror. Later, Nathan shows up at Jenelle’s mom’s house to share the news that Jenelle has been arrested. Barbara Evans, Jenelle’s mom, is flat out furious. Barbara admits that she’s glad Jenelle went to jail, and warns Nathan that she’ll ruin everyone’s life (his included). At least she didn’t blame him … After 48 hours in jail, the Carolina Hurricane is cut loose to serve eight months of unsupervised probation, so nothing TOO bad came out of this somehow. There’s more drama in store for her, though. When she gets home, she finds that Nathan was talking to another girl on Facebook and starts flipping out, despite his claims that she’s just a friend. It results in a huge fight, despite the fact that Nathan got her flowers, fixed up the house, went to Barbara’s straight from jail, then picked up Jenelle. In the end, Jenelle calms down and seems to realize that his actions didn’t warrant that kind of freak-out. They hug it out and things appear to be okay. Well, relatively speaking of course. With Jenelle Evans, the next big blowup is always just around the corner and there’s no telling what might trigger it. We really hope she can mitigate this. Otherwise … those poor kids. 🙁 The big day is here for Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin. Legally married for a while, they are about to make it official in front of their friends and families. When the moment finally comes, it’s son Isaac who walks Kailyn down the aisle. Now that is about the sweetest thing you’ll see on any show out there. Kailyn and Javi wrote their own vows to each other. During the vows, Isaac asks Kailyn if she’s happy, and she tells him yes. He is just the cutest little guy. She looks gorgeous in her gown and Javi looks great in that tux. We’re happy for them. They even got their first kiss just about perfect. CONGRATULATIONS! Chelsea Houska, in order to graduate from business school, had to complete 600 hours of classes and training. That’s not a small feat for the single mama. In order to celebrate, Chelsea’s adorable daughter Aubree and her mother and father, Mary and Randy Houska, come to watch Chelsea’s graduation. While waiting for her aesthetician license to be approved by the State of South Dakota, Chelsea gets proactive and goes on a job interview, and she gets the job! Way to go, girl! Chelsea starts her new job, Aubree is in daycare full time, and we don’t even have to talk about Adam Lind for a week! This is the best! Leah Messer‘s husband Jeremy Calvert got that lucrative job offer in New Mexico, which would be one thing if he hadn’t turned down another opportunity locally. She knows this, of course, because went through his Facebook messages, which you don’t need Teen Mom 2 Season 5 Episode 10 to tell you is a major no-no. Leah is clearly upset about Jeremy going away for work again, but snooping on him does not help her cause. They’re fighting more than ever, it seems. Later, Jeremy is packing for his job in New Mexico while Leah wrangles her kids. Despite her best efforts, Jeremy leaves for the job, and she is not happy. She and Corey Simms, meanwhile, remain amicable and committed to co-parenting, but maybe talking about their relationship issues isn’t the best idea. Miss an episode? Want another look? With Jenelle Evans, the next big blowup is always just around the corner and there’s no telling what might trigger it. We really hope she can mitigate this. Otherwise … those poor kids. 🙁 The big day is here for Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin. Legally married for a while, they are about to make it official in front of their friends and families. When the moment finally comes, it’s son Isaac who walks Kailyn down the aisle. Now that is about the sweetest thing you’ll see on any show out there. Kailyn and Javi wrote their own vows to each other. During the vows, Isaac asks Kailyn if she’s happy, and she tells him yes. He is just the cutest little guy. She looks gorgeous in her gown and Javi looks great in that tux. We’re happy for them. They even got their first kiss just about perfect. CONGRATULATIONS! Chelsea Houska, in order to graduate from business school, had to complete 600 hours of classes and training. That’s not a small feat for the single mama. In order to celebrate, Chelsea’s adorable daughter Aubree and her mother and father, Mary and Randy Houska, come to watch Chelsea’s graduation. While waiting for her aesthetician license to be approved by the State of South Dakota, Chelsea gets proactive and goes on a job interview, and she gets the job! Way to go, girl! Chelsea starts her new job, Aubree is in daycare full time, and we don’t even have to talk about Adam Lind for a week! This is the best! Leah Messer‘s husband Jeremy Calvert got that lucrative job offer in New Mexico, which would be one thing if he hadn’t turned down another opportunity locally. She knows this, of course, because went through his Facebook messages, which you don’t need Teen Mom 2 Season 5 Episode 10 to tell you is a major no-no. Leah is clearly upset about Jeremy going away for work again, but snooping on him does not help her cause. They’re fighting more than ever, it seems. Later, Jeremy is packing for his job in New Mexico while Leah wrangles her kids. Despite her best efforts, Jeremy leaves for the job, and she is not happy.
