John Nash And Wife Killed In Car Crash US mathematician John Nash, who inspired the Oscar-winning film A Beautiful Mind, has died in a car crash with his wife, police have said. Via BBC : Nash, 86, and his 82-year-old wife Alicia were killed when their taxi crashed in New Jersey, they said. The mathematician is renowned for his work in game theory, winning the Nobel Prize for Economics in 1994. His breakthroughs in maths – and his struggles with schizophrenia – were the focus of the 2001 film. Russell Crowe, who played him, tweeted: “Stunned… My heart goes out to John & Alicia & family. An amazing partnership. Beautiful minds, beautiful hearts.” The film’s director, Ron Howard, also tweeted his tribute to the “brilliant” John Nash and his “remarkable” wife. Alicia Nash helped care for her husband, and the two later became prominent mental health advocates. The two were thrown from their vehicle, police said. Media reports said the couple may not have been wearing seatbelts when they crashed. Their taxi driver, and a passenger in another car, were also injured. Rest in peace to this beautiful mind and his wife!

SMH: Married Couple And Twin Sons Found Dead One Week Before Boys’ First Birthday

This is so sad. Husband, Wife And Their Babies Found Dead These poor parents and precious babies! Some people are just pure evil. According to KSWO: A husband and wife and their infant twin sons, a week away from celebrating their first birthdays, were found dead at their home on Monday after police were asked to check on them. Authorities released few details about the deaths, but a relative said the couple had experienced marital problems. Arlington police Chief Frederick Ryan said police weren’t looking for any suspects and there was no reason for the public to be alarmed, but he didn’t elaborate. “We’re quite certain that the community is safe and people can go out and go about their business this evening,” he said. An officer found the bodies in the two-family home in a quiet residential neighborhood in Arlington, just northwest of Boston, around noon. Authorities did not say how long they had been there. “This is obviously a very troubling, very tragic situation,” Middlesex County District Attorney Marian Ryan said. Ryan identified the dead as Scott Jones and his wife, Mei Kum Jones, both 43, and their sons, Colt and Cameron, who would’ve turned a year old on Nov. 26. Prayers go out to their families. Chinese Couple Getting It In Against The Window Plummet To Their Deaths After Glass Gives Way

Talk about going out with a bang! A couple in China getting freaky against a window suffered a fatal fall when the glass gave way. Via UK’s The Sun reports : A COUPLE are believed to have fallen to their deaths when a window they were having sex against gave way, say reports. The horrific accident allegedly happened in China when the glass pane shattered. The tragic man and woman are then understood to have hurtled to their deaths. Eyewitnesses said the couple both fell to the ground as they clinched on to each other. A source in China said: “With the two of them holding each other tight, they fell out of the building”. Shocking photos in China appear to show the couple on the ground under sheets. Blood is splattered near their bodies on the pavement. Medical staff and what appear to be police officers can also be seen examining the scene. The man and woman are thought to have fallen out of an apartment in the city of Wuhan, central China. Local sites suggested windows in the building were of poor quality. This is sad as hell. Wonder if their families would be able to sue the building owners? Do they have the same abundance of civil litigation over there as here, anybody know?

Tracy Morgan did not go home with any Emmy Awards last night, but the actor confirmed on the red carpet that he was a winner before even arriving at the event. That’s because the 30 Rock star is engaged to Megan Wallover! Morgan confirmed to Ryan Seacrest that the agreement was actually reached “six months ago,” while Wallover said the couple was in San Francisco when the comedian got down on “bended knee” and didn’t pop the most important question via any kind of crazy antic. Enormous news out of the world of scripted drama today: Tamra Barney and Eddie Judge might be getting married! “We’ve talked about marriage and we want to get married,” Tamra told Radar Online of her relationship. ““It’s an insane amount of love; I have never said term ‘soul mate’ before, but we are!” The bond between Barney and Judge got off to a rough start, as Tamra’s ex-husband, Simon, says he was friends with Eddie when Tamra first started doing him. She denies this. “Within the next year we’ll be married,” predicts the reality star, adding that her four kids all approve of Judge. “Eddie is one of the best things that’s ever happened in my life; he’s understanding, he’s caring and he just really has a big heart.” The irritating Real Housewife also says she and Eddie might adopt a child. The Real Housewives of D.C.: Canceled!

The Real Housewives of D.C. has not been renewed for a second season, according to Radar Online . Now if someone would just tell the cast members. The fifth installation of the hit reality franchise arrived with great hype last year, thanks in large part to White House party crasher Michaele Salahi . The downside, however, was that it pretty much sucked from day one. “The show just didn’t do well and it wasn’t worth airing another season,” a source said, noting that the cast still has not been officially told about it. “No one has been contacted yet and told that the show is canceled.” Perhaps, to borrow one of our favorite Office Space quotes , Bravo just decided to halt filming with no notice and “let things work out naturally”? In any case, Miami is also on the chopping block. The latest spinoff has done so poorly in the ratings, producers are scaling back, not expanding. “After DC failed in the ratings and Miami just bombed, they realized they can’t just start a show anywhere and it will succeed,” the source said. The flagship Orange County, Atlanta, New Jersey, New York and Beverly Hills housewives look safe for now. Safe, pompous and oh-so entertaining.

Wendy Williams: Ungrateful, Sued

Talk show host Wendy Williams is being sued by a concert promoter who claims her conduct at a paid appearance “was best described as … ungrateful.” According to the lawsuit, Williams was supposed to make a two-hour appearance at The Pool at Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City, N.J., but peaced out early. The suit claims Williams, who was also supposed to take the mic on state but did not, “disappointed fans who came out expecting her to host the party.” SO ungrateful. Almost as much as the judges after her Dancing With the Stars debacle this week. Yikes, 14 points, that’s pretty terrible … DWTS Week One – Wendy Williams & Tony Dovolani Furthermore, she allegedly demanded four bottles of champagne and two bottles of wine at her cabana, where she and her husband asked to be left alone. When part of the gig is mingling with guests, probably not the best move.
