GA Teacher Killed By Mistress In Murder-Suicide Was Former NFL Player’s Wife Yesterday we told you guys of a Georgia teacher who was kidnapped and killed by her husband’s longtime mistress. Today, we have more details… Via DailyMail The alleged mistress of an NFL player is said to have abducted her lover’s wife and shot her before taking her own life when police caught up to her. Relatives of special needs teacher Sandra Barnett, 58, reported the abduction after becoming suspicious when she was taken from her home in Ellenwood, Georgia, by a black Dodge Durango on Wednesday. The driver, 49-year-old Lisa Brown, had been having a multi-year affair with Sandra’s husband Buster Barnett, a tight end for the Buffalo Bills in the 1980s, according to authorities. Brown drove toward the Alabama border and refused to stop for police, leading to a chase that ultimately ended in both her and Sandra Barnett’s deaths on Thursday. The dramatic kidnapping was triggered when Brown became upset about the Barnetts going on a trip together, Officer Charlene Watson-Fraser, spokesperson for Clayton Police, told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. A friend heard an altercation between the tight end’s wife and supposed mistress over the phone as Brown allegedly stormed into the house with a gun. Yeah… Authorities spotted the car that Buster’s wife was seen being kidnapped in, which eventually led to the high-speed chase through Alabama. The chase ended as Brown stopped in the middle of the expressway and shot Sandra Barnett as well as herself. The alleged mistress, also a school teacher in northern Atlanta, was on probation for another kidnapping in Texas, where in 2013 she had abducted her now 12-year-old child after losing custody. Sommer Brown, 12, was the subject of an Amber Alert in April of that year and it took three days to track down the mother and child. Brown, who also left her teaching job in 2013, was sentenced to eight years probation in March,11 Alive reported. A Texas teacher, Heather Lynn Miller, is facing felony charges after she was allegedly caught in a portable classroom trailer with an underage student. Texas Teacher Accused of Inappropriate Relationship With 14-Year-Old Miller was arrested Sunday night after a campus security guard at Katy Junior H.S. found the 46-year-old with a 14-year-old male during a routine patrol. Miller was allegedly “engaging in an inappropriate relationship” with the student, according to a statement released by the Katy Independent School District. KPRC reports that Miller answered the door to the temporary classroom, telling the guard “everything was fine.” Suspicious, the guard looked past her.
