Stacey Dash will forever be best known for her role in Clueless. To many critics at the moment, however, Stacey Dash is best known for being clueless when it comes to rape. An outspoken Republican , the actress appeared on Fox News yesterday and seemed to blame rape victims for the situations in which they find themselves, saying no one forces anyone to drink and that only those who act “naughty get hurt.” Stacey Dash Sparks Rape Victim Controversy Dash was asked about the University of Virginia’s decision to order sorority members to not attend fraternity parties this weekend, labeling the school’s move as “ridiculous” and then expanding on why. “I think it’s a good thing, for the good girls, to you know… not to be told, ‘stay home, be safe,'” Dash reasoned, adding: “The other bad girls, or the ones who like to be naughty, might go out and play and and get hurt.” As if referring to potential rape victims as “naughty” weren’t controversial enough, Dash cited the behavior of certain women as a cause for sexual assault. “But the other thing about this is, it then blames the alcohol instead of the person who overdrinks,” she said. “So you know, it’s like, the same thing with guns. Butter (2011) has been making the festival rounds for a while now (our Skin Skout saw a screening at SXSW back in March), but the satirical comedy starring Jennifer Garner as a self-righteous housewife and Olivia Wilde as a home-wrecking stripper has just now released a trailer. We’ve got mixed feelings about this one, and here’s why: On the one hand, our Skin Skout reports that, despite the suggestive trailer and “R” rating, Olivia does not go nude in the film, a depressingly typical state of affairs for celebrity “stripper” roles (See also: Closer ). On the other, the trailer doesn’t mention the “good part” of the film, a girl-girl makeout scene between Olivia and Twilight star Ashley Greene . And that’s more than enough to make us melt (in our pants, of course). Apparently Alicia Silverstone chews food and regurgitates it into her 10-month-old son’s mouth to nourish him. We know because she posted a video of this. Alicia posted the video on her blog this weekend – well played once again, Internet – claiming it’s her “favorite” way to feed her son Bear Blu (his real name). “He literally crawls across the room to attack my mouth if I’m eating,” she says, without offering an explanation of why she engages in this behavior. Director Amy Heckerling gave us Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Clueless , so it’s only appropriate that she raise the bar on her brand of socially hierarchical fun with a stark left turn: Vamps , a romantic comedy starring Clueless alums Alicia Silverstone and Wallace Shawn, Sigourney Weaver, and Krysten Ritter, ensconces us in a world of vampires — and not the whiny, blanched ones. Though Heckerling’s reunion with Silverstone is plenty enticing, Weaver’s role as queen of the vampires warrants a few double-takes. The actress, who shot to fame as the ditzy, fashion-forward 16-year-old rich kid in the hit 1995 movie “Clueless,” is pregnant. The star’s rep confirmed to People that Silverstone and her husband of five years, musician Christopher Jarecki, are expecting their first child together. The star has also been spotted tooling around Los Angeles in casual gear, sporting her growing baby bump. Silverstone, who has stayed busy since her “Cher” days appearing in the Broadway play “Time Stands Still” and writing the cookbook “The Kind Diet,” said last year that she has been eagerly anticipating motherhood. “I’ve been wanting to have a baby since I was 2 years old,” she told People. “I’m destined to be a mother.” Silverstone also said she loved portraying a pregnant woman onstage in “Still”: “Wearing a pregnancy suit was so much fun,” she said. “I loved the feeling of pretending to be pregnant and having little arms and legs and this big belly.” In addition to expanding her family, Silverstone has some professional projects on the horizon and will reunite with “Clueless” writer-director Amy Heckerling for the upcoming flick “Vamps.” Silverstone will star opposite Sigourney Weaver and Krysten Ritter as a young vampire with a taste for blood and New York nightlife.
