Paul John Vasquez, Former Sons of Anarchy Actor, Dead at 48

Paul John Vasquez, a veteran actor likely best known to television fans for his role on Sons of Anarchy, died of a heart attack on Monday night, according to multiple news outlets. He was 48 years old. “This news has come as a surprise to us,” a representative for Vasquez People Magazine, adding somberly: “Our hearts are heavy. He was a kind, creative and loving man. He will be missed.” According to TMZ, Vasquez was at his father’s home in San Jose when he suffered the apparent heart attack. He did found him unconscious and called the paramedics, but they were never able to revive him. The cause of death has not yet been made official and remains, as of this writing, under investigation. You very likely recognize Vasquez, even if you weren’t able to immediately place him upon seeing his face. The actor enjoyed a number of small roles on a number of very populr TV shows, such as Sons of Anarchy, How I Met Your Mother, NYPD Blue and CSI: NY. He appeared on the FX drama in 2011 for two episodes as the character of Angel Ganz and is actually the second Sons of Anarchy player to have been found dead in recent months. Back in June, Alan O’Neil – who appeared at various times on the final two seasons of this series – was discovered dead by his girlfriend , although no foul play was suspected The L.A. County Coroner’s Office spokeswoman previously said that O’Neill, who portrayed Hugh on the critically acclaimed program, died of sequelae of chronic ethanol (alcohol) overconsumption. Vasquez, meanwhile, was born and raised in San Jose, California. After graduating college in 1988, he moved to Los Angeles in order to pursue acting as a full-time living. Prior to his sudden passing, he set to star in the short Thug Alley, as well as Spody Gets His Gunz, two projects which he actually wrote. The actor was also scheduled to appear in the action thriller Lone Wolf. Vasquez made his small screen debut the same year in the show Private Eye, contining from then on to establish himself as a character actor over the next few decades. We send our condolences to his family members, friends and loved ones. May Paul John Vasquez rest in peace .

Ashley Williams Reveals Miscarriage, Sends Message to Women Everywhere

Ashley Williams has opened up about something as personal as it gets for women: A miscarriage. In a detailed and emotional essay for The Human Development Project, The Jim Gaffigan Show star talks with fans about how she found out she miscarried during a trip at Whole Foods with her son Gus, who was nearly two years old at the time. Williams also delves into what transpired after this tragic incident. She says she realized a great deal about herself as a result of the miscarriage and has a message for others who have suffered the same experience but felt they couldn’t discuss it. “My (still bloated) gut feeling is that something even more painful silences us  – the fear that we, as women, are failures,” writes Williams, who miscarried eight weeks into her second pregnancy. “Procreation, the driving purpose in our constructed notion of womanhood, is broken by this sudden trauma.” What would the 37-year old like to tell other women in her situation? “You are not broken. You did nothing wrong. You are strong, you are brave, and there is hope.” That feels worth repeating, in old: You are not broken. You did nothing wrong. You are strong, you are brave, and there is hope. In her moving essay, the actress – who played one of Ted Mosby’s major love interests on How I Met Your Mother – explains that she was shocked to learn she isn’t alone. Not by a long shot. Most of her friends have also suffered a miscarriage. “Medical confirmations of the lost pregnancy from OBs, chiropractors, and my acupuncturist use jargon that feeds more self-sabotaging thoughts that I am deficient,” Williams writes. The words tossed about in her presence included:  Abnormality … Defect … Incapable … Incomplete … Not viable. You can imagine how painful those are for someone who just miscarried to hear. So Williams wants to change the conversation. “I stand here in front of you, [needing] to normalize my miscarriage,” she concludes. “And I’d love to hear about yours. “I believe it will allow me  –  and us  –  to gather hope and strength. As we talk, let’s add some of these words into our lexicon: Survivor … Strong … Abundant … Mother … Hope . About one in four women have miscarried at some point in their lives. Williams want them all to form a movement. “I invite you to start, with me, a vocal army of the 25 percenters who can normalize miscarriage in the social sphere. I was right there next to you at Whole Foods, bleeding out of my shorts. “Now I’m well. I’m a survivor. Healed, I will try again.” View Slideshow: 26 Stars Who Have Suffered a Miscarriage Amen, Ashley Williams. That’s an unfair double standard.” On struggling with her decision to come out, Ellen says, “I felt scared about people knowing. I felt awkward around gay people; I felt awkward about not being myself.” Since coming out, Ellen has eagerly embraced her role as a gay rights icon. The Dixie Chicks "Wrecking Ball" Cover: AMAZING!

When Miley Cyrus isn’t busy smoking weed with Wiz Khalifa , she occasionally gets down to writing and recording music. And some of it is pretty good. The Dixie Chicks: Wrecking Ball Cover Take Miley’s hit “Wrecking Ball,” for example. The singer’s breakup ballad tore up the charts when it was released in August and now a country-fied cover version by the Dixie Chicks  is going viral and wowing YouTubers.  You may remember the Dixie Chicks, George W. Bush controversy from several years back, and while the band has been flying low on most folks’ radar since then, it seems they’re still drawing crowds and taking country music to interesting new places. Miley may be closer to the hip-hop world these days, but as the daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus, she’s no stranger to country. Maybe she’ll join the Chicks on stage at some and help them re-imagine “We Can’t Stop” or “Party In the USA.” Okay, probably not, but at least she know she’s got some fans amongst older musicians. Just a few months ago, Miley was best known for dropping jaws during the VMAs. Now, against all odds, she’s actually beginning to gain as much attention for her work as for tongue-wagging antics.

Drake Bell Blasts Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande & Lady Gaga as "Repulsive": Why?

Justin Bieber suddenly has company. The singer, who has so often felt the wrath of Drake Bell, is once again the focus of this young actor’s ire. But he isn’t alone this time. In an extended interview with BuzzFeed, Bell goes off on Bieber, Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga, mostly in regard to how they don’t call out their fans for engaging in unruly behavior. According to Bell, Bieber (who Bell has called a ” little sh-t “) and Gaga “don’t come out and say, ‘I love having you as my fans, but you shouldn’t be acting this way.'” “They just eat it all up,” he adds, “and I think it’s repulsive.” Bell would also love to see Justin Bieber deported . With Bieber so often in the news these days, his supporters have been on the attack against the singer’s critics – and Bell can’t stand how Justin encourages their antagonistic responses. “Justin Bieber just tweets, ‘Yeah, Beliebers, go hard’ when they’re attacking somebody,” Drake says. ” Ariana Grande fans told Perez Hilton that he and his son needed to die and get cancer, and she just fed it. It’s disgusting.” Bell wishes A-listers would “get on a pedestal” and explain to their fans how “to treat people.” But he isn’t holding his breath for this to happen any time in the near future. Bieber is “going around telling kids that as long as you have enough money and swag, you can do whatever you want,” Bell laments, adding: “Instead of working to change the world, [he’s saying,] ‘Work to get as much money and power as possible because then you can do whatever you want and no one can say anything to you.’” “I just think that’s a gross, awful, terrible message.” What do you think, readers? Does Bell make some good points? Or is this all very easy for him to say when, let’s face it, the actor himself has no fans? Drake Bell SLAMS Justin Bieber Deport Justin Bieber!
