A Houston pothead learned this lesson in the most unexpected and terrifying way possible. The story, according to ABC13 , goes as follows… “A concerned citizen called 311. They were trying to get into this house to smoke marijuana. We questioned them as to whether they were under the effects of the drugs or they actually saw a tiger. They saw a tiger in this building, this vacant house that’s obviously been abandoned for some time,” said Sgt. Jason Alderete, of HPD’s Major Offenders, Livestock Animal Cruelty Unit. Asking the “concerned citizen” was he high and did he imagine the tiger is funny AF. When authorities found the 350-pound animal she was in a cage far too small for her and there were several packages of meat strewn around. Handlers tranquilized her and got the tiger out the deplorable conditions, she will soon be transferred to a facility equipped to deal with exotic animals. Can you imagine you go to fie up a blunt and you see Shere Khan sitting in the corner!
I don’t really know what they Joan Rivers and Ray Jay spoof sex tape is…but it’s awkward as fuck. I didn’t even crack a smile, but that may be because I am a joke snob and find nothing funny, especially with the state of the world, where laughing seems like something only ignorant assholes do while being a waste of time…or maybe it’s because it’s not funny… I figure if you’re an old bitch with nothing to do, your spoof should at least involve penetration… Joan Rivers is a classic, a legend, funny even when dated…but this hits the mark…next time I’d like to see a little face fuck to justify that Raspy Jewish Smoker voice… TO SEE THE REAL SEX TAPE CLICK HERE
‘The type of music that I make … is definitely underground and Southern hip-hop,’ K.R.I.T. tells RapFix Live. By Alvin Blanco, with reporting by Sway Calloway Big Krit Photo: MTV News Big K.R.I.T. was already buzzing heavy before he signed his record deal with Def Jam, and on September 27 he will release his major label debut, Live From the Underground. The Mississippi rapper checked in to MTV’s RapFix Live from the studio, where he is putting the finishing touches on his album, via Skype. K.R.I.T., one of MTV Jams’ Fab 5 , became an underground rap favorite when he released the free mixtape K.R.I.T. Wuz Here , which played more like an album, in 2009. The project’s soulful rap aesthetic and acclaim earned him a record deal, but the “Country Sh–” rapper is still holding on to his indie roots. “Man, ’cause I’m still underground at heart,” K.R.I.T. told MTV News when asked about his debut’s title. “At the end of the day, the type of music that I make, the type of sound I’m trying to create, is definitely being underground and Southern hip-hop. A lot of people didn’t know I was signed to Def Jam when I dropped ‘Return of 4Eva.’ I signed to Def Jam June of last year. So it’s been a process of working, grinding, proving myself, and just kind of showing people I’m not going to change just because I’m signed to a major.” “Return of 4Eva” was available for free download, and then Def Jam also dropped an EP of the project for sale on iTunes. Late last year, K.R.I.T. hit the road with Curren$y and Smoke DZA on the Smoker’s Club Tour (another tour is planned for this fall, with Method Man headlining). Come September 27, another fellow hip-hop up-and-comer, Roc Nation’s J. Cole , is also dropping his proper debut, but K.R.I.T. sees it only as friendly competition. “End of the day man, I feel like we all got our fanbase and we all just try to make quality music for the sake of hip-hop,” K.R.I.T. said. “And we all friends and cool man, so it’s just about knowing that your partner is going to put his all into his music and that you should do the same. And at the end of the day, we all meet up, and we’re going to do these shows and we’re going to tour and we’re going to have fun.” K.R.I.T., who appeared on XXL magazine’s Freshmen cover with fellow RapFix guest Mac Miller, continued, “It’s really all good man. I’m my worst critic so the music is not going to come out unless I feel 100 percent strongly about the content and the subject matter. I’m just going to do my best, brother.” Part of K.R.I.T.’s best includes handling all the production duties on his album and making sure to include social commentary in his lyrics. The 24-year-old plans to tackle topics like the murder of James Craig Anderson , the flooding of the Mississippi River and the tornadoes that hit Tuscaloosa, Alabama. “I’m really going to try to touch on all those topics ’cause I feel like sometimes just because we’re in Alabama or we’re in Mississippi, things happen and people expect it to be cool and OK, they’ll get over it,” K.R.I.T. said. “But we need help just like everybody else.” Related Videos ‘RapFix Live’ With Mac Miller, Big K.R.I.T., Future Related Artists Big K.R.I.T.
MC plans to drop three albums this year, including the just-released Pilot Talk 2. By Hillary Crosley Curren$y Photo: MTV News Forget releasing multiple mixtapes in one year; what about multiple albums? New Orleans MC Curren$y has done just that, releasing his follow-up to July’s Pilot Talk, appropriately titled Pilot Talk 2, on November 22. “I have no shortage of raps, and there’s no shortage of wack music in the world, so there has to be an alternative,” Curren$y told MTV News. “There’s people who are not so excited about what’s going on with music. A lot of the times, it sounds like the same song’s on the radio all day, even though it’s not. Everything sounds like everything.” The MC, who released his first Pilot Talk LP through Damon Dash’s revitalized Roc-A-Fella label and Island Def Jam, is no stranger to the taxes of an artist’s life. But Curren$y, born Shante Franklin, decided to take his career into his own hands, shying away from radio-friendly songs in favor of smoke-filled grooves like the ’70s-inspired song “Famous” on his newest project. “The fact that everybody gives me so much flak for not conforming lets me know that there’s a need for this,” Curren$y said. “It’s a break from the norm, like, ‘Well, I’m gonna keep on doing this. I should give them two before it’s done.’ Everybody’s like, ‘Ah, if he would just do a song for the radio.’ “I’m trying to show that there’s a way to survive without playing that game, without conforming,” he continued. “So the fact that I could put three albums out not conforming shows people like, ‘Dude, if you think you’re right, you’re probably right.’ Just stick to your guns and eventually it’ll all line up … I am just a living mission statement; I have to do it.” The MC says that he’s planning to release one more album this year, Muscle Car Chronicles, and Pilot Talk 3 will hit shelves possibly in April. Curren$y, along with Smoke DZA, Nipsey Hu$$le and Dom Kennedy, hit the road Thursday for the Smoker’s Club Tour West in Seattle. What do you think about Curren$y’s nonstop album releases? The Sheen family takes a very different approach to rehab than Amy Winehouse. With wife Brooke Mueller checked into a treatment center for substance abuse, Charlie Sheen’s rep has confirmed that his client has also entered a facility as “a preventative measure.” “He will take some time off his series Two and a Half Men ,” the rep added, not elaborating on why Sheen is in rehab. The actor is facing domestic violence charges as a result of his Christmas Day confrontation with Mueller. He’s expected in an Aspen court on March 15. Sheen has reportedly attended rehab programs at least twice before to battle drug and alcohol problems. A source tells People this stint relates to the fallout from the domestic violence case, however. “Charlie is stressed. He’s tired. The kids are on his mind. Brooke’s on his mind,” the insider said. “A lot of things are on his mind. He didn’t want to get a place where he had the urge to get high. He’s not using and he doesn’t want to. He felt like he needed to get away from negative influences around him and clear his head, rest and take a short break.” No word on who is watching Sheen and Mueller’s twin boys, but the safe assumption is Brooke’s mother.
