Source: VH1 / VH1 Many of the people on the Love and Hip-Hop franchise have been open about the plastic surgery they’ve gotten done, but we don’t always get to actually see how they’re affected by the procedures. Usually, we hear post-surgery tales when they’re all nice and healed but Apple Watts took us on her breast implant journey on tonight’s episode of Love and Hip-Hop Hollywood , and it wasn’t pretty. Plastic surgery is big business because it’s popular. However, it’s so popular that people tend to forget that surgery of any kind is a big deal, particularly involuntary procedures done for vanity.  I’m not knocking anyone who gets plastic surgery, but it’s important to research where you’re getting your procedure done. Apple Watts went to a clinic located in a strip mall in an effort to save money.  Luckily for her, the surgery went well, I think, but she woke up in a lot of pain. She mentioned that the pain was worse than childbirth. Um, girl, whet? I’ve had a baby. That pain ain’t no joke, so I can only imagine what it must feel like to recover post-surgery. Anyway, April got the biggest size that she could in relation to her bodily proportions, so she’s not out here trying to look like a circus freak.  According to WebMD , there are two types of breast implants: saline and silicone. Saline implants are filled with sterile saltwater. Silicone gel implants are filled with, you guessed it, silicone. While more women report that silicone gel implants feel more natural, but they pose a higher risk if they leak. Each has its pros and cons that you will go over with your surgeon.  It’s not a procedure that is covered by insurance so you would be coming out of pocket for anywhere from $5,000 to $10,000. There is a lot to consider when getting breast implants, including the aftermath. The preview for next week’s episode shows that April Watts is going to struggle with being addicted to the painkillers. We already know, that’s a huge problem in the United States. We’ll probably get to see April work through it, but you never can be sure when it comes to reality TV. You know how they like to hype things up in the trailer and then when you actually see the episode it’s not as bad as they initially made you think. Anyway, have you ever had breast implants? Jesus Take The Canine: Dog Bites Off 4-Year-Old’s ENTIRE Hand Then Allegedly Eats It

Source: Burak Karademir / Getty No Words A parent’s worst nightmare went down in Utah recently when it comes to children and animals. In a horrific act, a dog bit off a 4-year-old’s hand when the kid stuck their arm underneath a fence, according to Time . The kid was wearing a sock on their arm when they slipped it between the ground and a solid vinyl fence in a backyard on Sunday. According to the Layton Fire Battalion Chief Jason Cook, a husky on the other side bit off the boy’s entire hand AND two to three inches of his arm. The boy’s dad tried to contain the bleeding and comfort his son until emergency assistance arrived. A helicopter ended up flying the boy to a hospital in Salt Lake City, where he had surgery, Cook said. The child is doing well and is expected to survive, according to officials. Unfortunately, authorities weren’t able to find his hand, which brings about horrifying theories of what the dog could’ve done with it. Police think the dog might’ve eaten it. Animal control officials and medical personnel considered putting down the dog to retrieve the possible hand they ingested, but the surgeon said it wasn’t a viable option. The husky is set to be quarantined for 10 days, said Rhett Nicks, director for Davis County Animal Care and Control. Officials have not decided whether the dog will be put down or listed as a dangerous canine. An investigation is underway. Cook said this was the animal’s first reported bite. It’s not determined whether the dog owners will face consequences. The dog was properly fenced in at the house. Cook didn’t know if the boy was right-handed or not, but he said he should be able to adapt since he’s so young. “He’ll kind of grow into his dexterity,” Cook said. “But it’s certainly life-changing. It’s just a sad turn of events for the young, little guy.” Sad. Unfortunate. And brutal.

According to the San Francisco Examiner , pediatrician and youth activist Dr. Nadine Burke Harris was appointed to become the state of California’s first surgeon general. Governor Gavin Newsom on Monday announced the appointment of Dr. Nadine Burke Harris as California's first-ever surgeon general. https://t.co/REW0TLjd7R — KPIX 5 (@KPIXtv) January 22, 2019 On Monday, California Governor Gavin Newsom announced that he had selected Dr. Burke Harris to take on the new role, the news outlet writes. In the position, she will be responsible for examining the pressing health issues faced by people living in the state and implementing effective strategies to overcome them. One of the things on her agenda is providing outreach for young families. Burke Harris, 43, is well-suited for the position as she’s dedicated her career to spreading awareness about health conditions. She founded the Center for Youth Wellness in San Francisco in 2012 as a resource for children who were exposed to toxic trauma and stress at an early age. Harris is at the helm of the Bay Area Research Consortium on Toxic Stress and Health and is a part of several health-focused organizations including the National Academy of Medicine and the American Academy of Pediatrics National Advisory Board for Screening. Burke Harris took to social media to share her excitement about becoming the state’s first surgeon general. “Looking forward to rolling up my sleeves as CA’s first Surgeon General,” she posted on Twitter. “Thank you @GavinNewsom for your bold vision for health for all Californians. #preventscreenandheal!” Her appointment means a lot for representation in medicine. Institutions across the country are trying to empower Black students so that they can follow in her footsteps. According to a report released by the Association of American Medical Colleges, Howard University is the top institution for sending African-American applicants to U.S. medical schools. Ramona Singer might be a little out of touch with reality. The Real Housewives of New York star recently talked to Daily Mail about her dabblings with plastic surgery, and she seems to think it’s something every woman does. Like, a lot. “Most girls my age over 50 have had the complete facelift, the neck lift,” she told the publication. So she must be pretty special, because she denies have any invasive work done to her face. “I don’t really need that,” she said. “I’m into working out and staying fit.” She also believes that the plurality of women have had multiple boob jobs, so for her to get one is no biggie. “Most women have had their breasts done two or three times already,” she explained. “There are girls getting their breasts done at 17,18,20 – it’s crazy. So for me to wait until after 50, so be it. Why not?” If by “most women” and “most girls,” she means “most of the females in the one percent of the richest people in America that I, Ramona Singer, associate with,” that doesn’t actually add up to a majority. While it’s true that plastic surgery isn’t really a huge deal these days, we’d like to see the statistics Singer are referencing when she says “most.” Singer has been up front about enhancing her breasts , although she claims she didn’t really need to. “I went to see Dr. [Sharon] Giese and she didn’t even want to do them. She said, ‘You have great breasts. Prince Performs at Super Bowl Halftime: A True Icon

Following the stunning news that Prince has been found dead at the age of 57, we could have chosen any one of an endless number of iconic performances by the artist with which to remember him by. But one performance in particular stood out among out staff. It took place at halftime of the Super Bowl in 2007, when Prince took to the stage for a unique show that featured his trademark energy, voice… and plenty of rain. In a clip posted by the National Football League on YouTube,, Super Bowl halftime show production designer Bruce Rodgers remembers someone breaking the news to Prince about the downpour. “Prince was like, ‘Can you make it rain harder?’” Rodgers says below. HA! We love it. The musician went on to play a medley of his most beloved songs, such as “Let’s Go Crazy,” “Baby I’m a Star,” and “Purple Rain,” along with Queen’s “We Will Rock You,” Creedance Clearwater Revival’s “Proud Mary,” Bob Dylan’s “All Along the Watchtower” and Foo Fighters’ “Best of You.” Relive this amazing performance below. Dr. Simon Ourian: Kardashian Plastic Surgeon Dishes on the Sisters!

It’s no secret that the Kardashian-Jenner sisters visit the plastic surgeon more often than most people get a haircut. And when they go, they visit the illustrious Beverly Hills doctor Simon Ourian, who’s kept the family looking smooth and expressionless without venturing deep into Michael Jackson extremes (yet). Khloe Kardashian, widely regarded as the “realest” sister, sat down with Dr. Ourian for an interview about how she and her sisters aren’t really that real at all in the physical sense, which she published on her website. “My cosmetic dermatologist, Dr. Simon Ourian, is the truth!!! My sisters and I have been going to him for years for laser treatments and skin care at Epione, and he has seriously made my skin perfect,” she wrote. She entire tete-a-tete reads like a lengthy advertorial, and we’ve got an inkling Khloe got paid handsomely in trade. Koko then asked the doc which sister he likes to work on most. Here’s what he had to say about Khloe, her sister Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner: “That is a hard question because I love all of you and working on you is all about fun. You are very dedicated to anything you are involved in. “You are intrigued by all the new and exciting things we can do and I love the transformation you have had with all your own hard work and a little help from me. “Kim is very detail-oriented and knows exactly what she wants and needs, so when I work on her, it is like working with a colleague and I really enjoy it. “Kylie has become very wise in what she wants to have done and she has been going through an amazing metamorphosis over the past couple of years.” It’s not surprising that he picked these three, because anyone with pupils can see they’ve had the most work done among the clan. We recently learned that Kim visited Dr. Ourian seven times in five weeks this year, and last week Khloe was called out on Twitter for getting butt implants . But Kylie? This girl is just 18 and she looks like an entirely separate human from her 16-year-old self. While Ourian refers to her “metamorphosis” as “amazing,” others find it troubling. So far, she’s only admitted to lip fillers, but you can see from the pics below that Dr. Ourian (or someone) seemed to sculpt her entire face into a brand new masterpiece:

Kris sure does let her daughters start off early with the nip and tucks… Beverly Hills Plastic Surgeon Says Kylie Jenner Had Boobs Done Via RadarOnline reports: Kylie Jenner denied rumors that she got lip injections, but, according to a leading plastic surgeon, that isn’t the only body part that the 17-year-old reality star appears to have plumped up! “Her breasts do not look ‘natural,’ but rather have the appearance of someone who has undergone breast augmentation,” Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Neal Handel, MD, tells RadarOnline.com exclusively. “In recent photos Kylie’s breasts are distinctly larger than they used to be! A photo of her wearing a black bandeau reveals an “unnatural” appearance typically associated with breast enlargement surgery,” says Dr. Handel, who has not treated Jenner. “Kylie has exaggerated upper pole fullness [or a round appearance], and she has much better defined cleavage than before.” “Breast enlargement surgery is usually done with implants — silicone rubber bags that can be filled either with saline (salt water) or silicone gel,” Dr. Handel tells Radar. “The FDA has approved silicone gel implants for women 22 years of age and older. Therefore, Kylie, who is only 17, would be a candidate for saline implants.” However, notes Dr. Handel, some surgeons are reluctant to perform breast enlargement on patients still in their teens because it is possible that breasts will get larger naturally as the patient gets older. As Radar reported, Jenner spoke to E! at last Thursday’s Kylie Hair Kouture about her rumored plastic surgeries, saying, “I’m like whatever, just say what you want.” Do you think Kylie has had her boobs done??
