The Bachelorette Preview: WTF is Luke Doing Here?!?

The Bachelorette may finally be done with Luke Parker. But this preview for next Monday night's all-new episode of the ABC series makes one thing unfortunately clear: Luke Parker is not done with The Bachelorette. Despite Hannah sending this sexist loser home this week, the footage featured on this page hones in first on the reaction of Parker's fellow suitors to his rejection. Needless to say, Tyler Cameron, Jed Wyatt and Peter Weber are pretty psyched about Hannah finally coming to her senses. “The Luke P. show's over, boys,” Tyler tells Jed and Peter in the sneak peek, to which Jed responds: “I've never been so stoked to see someone leave.” Hannah also seems more relaxed and content than ever “with Luke out of the picture,” as she puts it, adding: “It allows me to finally look at my other relationships.” One would think this would be the case, until one sees that Luke is on his way back to the mansion, despite Hannah giving him the very clear heave-ho just moments earlier. “Hannah thought there's no way I'd want to be with her after the last thing she told me, and she's sadly mistaken,” Luke says, referring to Hannah throwing in Luke's face the fact that she slept with two other guys on the show. Yes, folks, we're very sorry: Luke will return next week. “This isn't over for me yet. This my heart we're talking about here,” Luke tells Hannah, somehow expecting Brown to welcome him back with open arms we guess. But she does no such thing. “This isn't about your heart,” she screams at him in the explosive trailer. “F-cking leave!” Shortly after Hannah makes this declaration, the other three men surround Luke and tell him to seriously skip town right at that very moment… or else. Things get very close to getting very ugly and physical here. The camera cuts away at this point, however, giving us a glimpse at the upcoming Men Tell All special. On this week's emotional and controversial episode, Luke outed himself as a sexist pig, sex-shaming Hannah as follows: “If you told me you're going to have sex or you had sex with one or multiple of these guys I would be wanting to go home 100 percent.” Because Brown did have sex with one or multiple of these guys, and because Luke doesn't frickin own her, Hannah shoots back: “You're questioning me and you're judging me and feel like you have the right to when you don't at this point. “And I get when you care for somebody that you don't want to think about somebody being intimate with another person. But guess what, sex might be a sin out of marriage, pride is a sin, too, and I feel like this is a pride thing.” And later? After she fully tells Luke off and tells him to hit the road? “I don't owe you anything at this point. Do you not understand that? I have bent over backwards for this relationship, so I don't owe you anything.” Oh, yeah, and she also had sex on the show and “Jesus still loves me,” dude. Just amazing all around. Peter Weber: ANOTHER Bachelorette Finalist Caught Hiding Secret Girlfriend!

Scoot on over, Jed! And make some room for your pal Peter… it looks like he will be joining you in the hot seat this week.  WARNING: The Bachelorette spoilers await. Big ones. It pains me to say, but as fans prepare for tonight’s fantasy suites episode on  The Bachelorette , new allegations have emerged about frontrunner Peter Weber.  *sobs* Pilot Pete, who has successfully made it to the final four on Hannah Brown’s season,  is being accused of breaking up with his girlfriend to go on the hit reality show .  Sound familiar?  Jed Wyatt has been accused of the same douchey crime , but with Peter… well, we just really didn’t see this coming.  The sweet, loveable contestant was called out after his alleged ex-girlfriend, model Calee Lutes, had an interview with Entertainment Tonight where she spoke out about their relationship.  And apparently, he ended things right before going on the dating series. According to Lutes, she and Peter met through a dating app in June 2018, while the Delta pilot was in town training for work.  “We hit it off and decided to continue dating long distance after his month was up,” Lutes told  ET . “It was great, we were crazy about each other.” “Even though we lived on opposite sides of the country, we saw each other often — every week/every other week,” she explained of their relationship. “It was as easy as a long-distance relationship could be.” Lutes also admitted that she and Pete went to Switzerland together in November. Mind you, this was about four months before the show began filming… and Peter is a pilot (!!!) so the fact that they traveled together isn’t at all shocking. Their relationship was “very serious,” according to Calee, and the two even discussed living together.  But two days before Christmas, Weber ended their relationship during a FaceTime call. “He didn’t really have a reason why. I was devastated and completely blindsided,” Lutes recalls. “I didn’t understand why it was so urgent to end things so suddenly.” “I thought there was another girl, so I looked at his recent followers on Instagram, and noticed that a  Bachelorette  producer had recently followed him,” she said. “I didn’t think much of it at the time, but I knew there was something he wasn’t telling me.” Since their breakup, Peter has deleted any trace of their history off of his Instagram account. But the two still kept in touch.  “We still kept in touch after the breakup, and we were trying to see each other again, up until early March, shortly before he left for filming,” Lutes says.  “When I found out about the show, I texted him and told him that he owed me an explanation, but I never heard a word back.” “He absolutely betrayed me,” Lute says.  “He interviewed for a reality dating show while simultaneously planning a future with me.” View Slideshow: Hannah Brown Banged in a Windmill and Twitter Lost Its Mind Following Wyatt’s allegations, who was also accused of cheating on his ex Haley Stevens,  he finally spoke out  saying the cheating claims were affecting his “mental health.”  And while fan favorite Pilot Pete has yet to address the claims, we can’t help but feel for Hannah right now.  Who knows how this show is going to end – cue  Bachelorette spoilers ! –  but one thing we’re pretty sure of is that they will be getting a new casting team for next season… jeesh!  View Slideshow: The Bachelorette Spoilers: Who Gets Exposed? The Bachelorette Spoilers: Who Does Hannah Bang in the Fantasy Suite?

Our apologies to those who may have found that headline a bit crass. And to those who want to avoid Bachelorette spoilers . But folks – it’s fantasy suites week, which means it’s time to send the kids to bed and get straight down to business. Last week, Hannah was introduced to her finalists’ friends and families. (Or in the case of Luke P., a bunch of people he paid off to pretend he’s a decent human being.) Anyway, meeting the parents is great and all, but this week, she’ll make her acquaintance of an even more important influence in the life of her fiance-to-be. It’s a figure who looms (hopefully) large and probably makes many important decisions on her future husband’s behalf. We’re talking, of course, about his ding-a-ling. Now, if you’ve been keeping up with our Bachelorette spoilers , then you already know who receives Hannah’s final rose. But that doesn’t mean he’ll be the only one who gets her flower, if you know what we mean. (If you’d prefer to be surprised, read no further, because we’re about to get all spoiler-y up in here.)   Okay, so now that all the info-phobes have tossed their phones into the nearest body of water, it’s time to tell you that Kevin Spacey was dead the whole movie, and Bruce Willis was Keyser Soze. Just a little spoiler humor! But seriously, folks, we’ve known for quite some time that Luke P. gets sent home in large part because he slut-shamed Hannah  for having sex with one of the other guys. So that’s double good news: Hannah takes at least one finalist to pound town, and it’s not Luke P. We also know that Jed Wyatt proposes to Hannah in the finale , and she accepts. It was later revealed that Wyatt had a girlfriend waiting at home while filming the show, and Hannah has reportedly kicked him to the curb as a result. But that’s a separate issue entirely. During the filming of tonight’s fantasy suite episode, Hannah was still very much smitten with Jed. And so, when previews for the episode revealed that Hannah has sex with someone in a windmill, it was widely believed to be Wyatt. But according to spoiler master Reality Steve, that’s not the case . “In Monday’s episode, you’ll see that Peter is Windmill Sex guy,” Reality Steve writes. “And there is a condom in the room that they joke about since he was the one that had it in the console of his car.” Yes, Peter Weber is the guy who goes full Don Quixote and thrusts his lance in a windmill. (Sorry, we couldn’t resist.) (We’re not ruling out the possibility that Hannah bangs Jed as well, but Peter was the infamous Windmill Guy.) So, that’s where we stand heading into tonight, and given what we know about Jed, that may seem like a bit of a bummer. After all, Peter was a fan favorite from the start, and poor Hannah wound up with a dude who was secretly in a relationship. So in a way, we guess today’s revelation that Peter also had a secret girlfriend is bittersweet. Basically, Hannah would’ve wound up with a cheater regardless. The long and short of it? Steve says it’ll basically be an hour-long Luke-bashing session, which is both totally unsurprising and totally welcome. At one point, Hannah even apologizes to America for allowing Luke to remain on the show for long. Jed Wyatt: Bachelorette Frontrunner Had a Girlfriend the Whole Time!!!

We have been quite suspicious of current contestant Jed Wyatt on The Bachelorette .  But now we are just beyond over him.  After the singer/songwriter boldly opened up to Hannah Brown about why he really signed up for the popular dating show, she thanked him for his honesty. He may not have signed up for the right reasons, as he admitted it was to further his music career, but he now swears that he is completely ready for an engagement. Some viewers may have been able to look past Jed’s shady confession, but for those who still continue to doubt his motives, well good job — you are highly intuitive.  And now that this shocking story has surfaced, I bet we can all agree that he has to go. Apparently, Jed was still in a relationship  when he went on to the show.  Yes, he should’ve been immediately booted out right along with fellow contestant Scott who was also coupled up prior to meeting Hannah.  (AKA their possible future fiance?! What are these men thinking?!)  Wyatt was allegedly four months into a relationship with fellow Nashville-based musician Haley Stevens when he first left to find love  (or followers) on the reality show. Stevens recently told  People about her devastating situation, while giving us all the tea on two-timing Jed.  “We spent the night together the night before he headed to L.A.,” she said, opening up publicly about their romance for the first time.  “He told me [the show] was just an obstacle and we’d be stronger on the other side because of it.” Stevens says Wyatt was completely clear with his motives for going on the show, which he applied to before they started dating.  “He told me [early on] that he had applied,” says Stevens, 26.  “He said, ‘It’s probably not going to happen, but it’s a huge opportunity. I’m only doing this for my music.'” “He only did it for his career,” she said.  Stevens continued explaining that she was under the impression that he just wanted a platform.  “He kept telling me, ‘I don’t want my dad to have to help me pay rent anymore.'” “He said he only wanted to be top five… to be a major player so that it would be beneficial,” she explained. And yes Jed may have already explained all of this to Hannah, but we all know she would have gone total beast mode and thrown him out of the mansion immediately If she knew the real truth.  As for Haley, she wasn’t worried about him dating another woman at the time because he reassured her saying, “It’s not real. It’s acting.” Even after Wyatt got the call in February that he was officially joining the cast of the show, the two took a romantic vacation to the Bahamas, where they said ‘I love you’ for the first time.  According to People , the last time Stevens and Wyatt spoke was right before he began filming.  “He called me when he landed in L.A. He said, ‘I love you, and I’ll call you when I get back,'” she said.  Bachelor rules state that all contestants must give up their cell phones during filming, so Stevens obviously grew nervous.  The poor girl had to read through spoilers and actually suffer through watching the show just to see what was going on with her man.  “I was following along on spoiler accounts, trying to figure out when my boyfriend was going to come home,” she said.  “I bought a homecoming outfit that I was going to wear to maybe pick him up at the airport.” But as Jed and Hannah’s relationship continued to advance, she began to panic. “I was terrified that he would fall in love with Hannah,” she confessed.  “In the beginning, I felt bad [watching the show] because I thought he loved me and was faking dating her.” “But then I thought, my boyfriend could be engaged to someone else”… “Seeing him kissing her for the first time was the worst day,” she explained.  Wow. what a terrible situation for both Hannah and Haley.  Let’s all cross our fingers in hopes that it isn’t Jed who gets down on one knee at the end of this. Devin Harris Weighs in on Douchey Zealot Luke Parker: Is It an Act?

The Bachelor Nation doesn’t have to follow The Bachelorette Spoilers to know that Luke Parker is the absolute worst . We’ve all seen that creepy promo where Luke slut-shames Hannah. Now, Bachelorette castoff Devin is discussing what he saw of Luke behind the scenes — and how the holier-than-thou act may just be an act. Entertainment Tonight spoke with Devin Harris about what Luke Parker is really like. Is he a zealot or just a douche? “He is very fickle and flippy floppy,” Devin assesses. “In terms of the way that he moves throughout the season.” “Weirdly enough,” he remarks of Luke P. “When it was the guys, he’s cool enough.” “But once Hannah becomes involved,” Devin observes. “He becomes very manipulative. … ” He then comments: “I think he has douchey tendencies.” Then he gets into that disturbing scene where Luke talks about keeping “the marriage bed pure,” like a total creep. Devin remarks: “He never spoke about those types of dynamics with us.” “I think that ultimately, if Luke is following a path like that,” he expresses. “It’s important to remember that… God’s accepting.” “He’s an accepting person,” Devin emphasizes. “So I don’t know if really — and I’ll put this out there — I don’t know if it’s a facade,” he suggests. Now that’s a thought. “He’s saying he follows a certain path,” Devin continues. “That’s fine.” “But I don’t think that passing judgment on somebody is the kindest thing you can do,” he states. Devin is correct. He says that this is true “especially in relationships, when it’s about accepting someone’s flaws or challenges.” “That’s how you get to know somebody,” Devin notes. “You accept those because you accept that person.” Devin points out that even Luke P has admitted to acting a certain way on camera. So once again, he brings up that the audience — and Hannah — don’t truly know how much of this is fakery. “I think there is an aspect of facade that he is portraying,” Devin suggests. So which part is fake? What is the real Luke like? What does he hope to gain by acting like a douchey wingnut? Devin admits to being as in the dark as the rest of us, saying: “I guess that’s what we’re all trying to figure out!” Chris Harrison delved into Hannah’s very firm and wisely independent attitude. He quotes Hannah: “‘No matter what you believe, my body, my choice, my life, and if you don’t like it, there’s the door.'” “‘Don’t let it hit you in the a** on the way out.’ That’s how she approaches all the men,” he explains. “She’s very vulnerable and emotional,” Chris observes. “But don’t you dare cross her and question her decisions.” He explains: “because this is her life and you’ve got to respect that.” Now, Chris Harrison has also stated that he thinks that upcoming events will be polarizing among viewers. It may depend upon their views of religion and sexuality. That makes sense — there are lots of opinions within Christian circles, and then a whole spectrum of non-Christian views. But the only opinion that matters at the end of the day is Hannah’s. Like she says, it’s her body. The big question is what Luke could possibly hope to gain from whatever facade he may be putting on. Maybe Devin’s wrong and he’s just a fanatic. Or maybe … he’s fishing to launch a career. Plenty of washed out actors have launched new careers as conservative commentators in recent years. The Bachelorette Recap: Which Luke Did Hannah Choose?

Two Lukes entered on The Bachelorette this week, both hoping to enter Hannah Brown at some point. But only one Luke left. Indeed, the rare Tuesday installment of this beloved ABC franchise produced what amounted to a one-on-one battle for Hannah’s affections, following some serious back and forth between two men with the same first name. Would producers make Hannah choose the stalker-ish one who declared his ever-lasting love for her after about three hours? Or the one who warned her that this guy is a phony who isn’t exactly on the level? This is what it came down to for Brown this week, who jetted off to Scotland while pondering the decision and giving each suitor a forum with which he could trash the other. More or less, that is. At one point, Hannah pulled the two Lukes aside to get them to talk out their differences. The Bachelorette told these fellas, who previously got into a physical altercation on the rugby pitch, that she was irritated with their accusations against each other, along with their perceived dishonesty. “I’m not going to sit here and ever tell Hannah anything I don’t believe,” Luke P. said, adding he didn’t see Luke S. as “a fit” for the woman he wanted to be his wife. Added Luke Parker : “At the end of the day, I told Hannah how I feel. My feelings about you being here for the right reasons haven’t changed.” However, Luke S. wasn’t convinced his rival’s intentions were pure, telling him flat out: “With you, it’s just lie after lie, manipulation after manipulation. I wish Hannah could see what’s going on right now.” The viewers can see, of course. And numerous celebrities can see, having alerted Hannah to all the clear red flags Parker is basically waving high in the air . But Hannah continues to either be blinded by love or lust when it comes to this contestant. Very frustrated by the entire situation, she actually cancelled the night’s cocktail party, calling it a “confusing night” that ended a “hard week” at the subsequent rose ceremony. Announcing she intended to follow her instincts with the evening’s selection, Luke S. made a point to pull Hannah aside for the final time, telling her he intended to send himself home amid the drama. For real! “I would just urge you to keep your eyes open for … I think you know who I’m talking about,” he told her, obviously talking about that other, allegedly conniving Luke. You know, the one who did receive a rose from Hannah. “Luke P. is still here because my heart wants him to be here – my head doesn’t always want him to be here,” Hannah explained to the camera. She added: “It makes it really difficult to know what’s the best decision to make. We know we have chemistry, but there are red flags and I honestly haven’t had time to explore our relationship the way it needs to be explored.” She wants to have sex with him. We think that’s what Hannah is saying here. With Luke S. outta there due to his drama with the overwhelmingly disliked suitor, Jed warned the rest of the men to watch their backs going forward. “We’ll have to be really careful in this,” he told the group. “He will do anything to rise up. He will pull anyone down. He’s not a good dude, he’s proven it over and over again.” This is starting to sound more like Game of Thrones than The Bachelorette, huh? The Bachelorette Spoilers: Hannah Brown Is Engaged! (And We Know Who the Lucky Guy Is!)

Folks, we have good news and even better news: The good news is, Hannah Brown is engaged! The even better news? She’s not engaged to Luke Parker! Once again, Reality Steve has delivered in the spoilers department , and it sounds like everything’s coming up roses for the Beast Mode Bachelorette. In case it’s not abundantly clear, major Bachelorette spoilers lie ahead, so read no further if you wish to be surprised by this year’s finale! There was a lot of speculation over the weekend surrounding photos of Tyler Cameron and Jed Wyatt, who were both spotted partying near their respective hometowns. Since Hannah wasn’t present at either fiesta, and since other females were on hand, many took the celebrations as signs that Tyler and Jed are both still single. But now, Reality Steve is shutting the rumor mill down and setting the record straight: First, he informs his readers that Tyler and Jed were Hannah’s final two bachelors. Then, he tells us in no uncertain terms: “Hannah picked Tyler Cameron and they are engaged.” We’ve known the identities of Hannah’s final four for quite some time, but this is our first official confirmation that Hannah ends up with Tyler C. in the end. So who is the lucky guy who will hopefully be exchanging vows with Hannah in the very near future? Well, he’s a model and former college football player who will have his first one-on-one date with Hannah during tonight’s episode. Tyler had aspirations of becoming an NFL quarterback, but those dreams came crashing down when he came off the bench for Wake Forest during a 2013 game against Florida State. Cameron posted Nathan Peterman-like numbers in his brief outing, throwing three interceptions in the span of just four passes. Those would have been solid stats if the opposing secondary played for Tyler’s team, but alas, that was not the case, and poor Mr. Cameron was condemned to the drudgery of male modeling. Quelle horreur! Anyway, clearly Tyler charmed Hannah, and he’ll have his first chance to charm America tonight. We don’t know much about him, but we know he’s not Luke Parker, which is good enough for us. As for Luke, he reportedly gets sent home for slut-shaming Hannah , which confirms that he’s every bit the douche-nozzle we suspected him of being. Kardashians Trademark "Psalm West" as Kris Jenner Slams Critics of Bizarre Name

We’ve come to expect unusual names from Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. After all, this is the couple who previously gave us North West, Saint West, and Chicago West. But some folks believe the Kardashian-Wests topped themselves when they selected a moniker for their fourth child. ” Psalm West ” quickly became a trending topic when Kimye made the announcement last week. And we probably don’t need to tell you that the feedback was not entirely positive. In fact, many were quick to roast Kim and Kanye for what they viewed as a laughably sanctimonious appellation. But the Kard clan has spent the past ten years operating under a very specific business model that involves turning online hate into cold, hard cash. And so, they won’t let a few million nay-sayers prevent them from cashing in on Lil Psalm’s name. According to TMZ, Kim has already filed to have “Psalm West” trademark protected so that her company can use the name to market a possible haircare line … as well as many, many other products. Those products include — but are not limited to: Entertainment services, personal appearances, skin care, probiotic supplements, toy figures and doll accessories, computer software, clothing, baby bottles, furniture, strollers, beverageware, swaddling blankets. And there’s more: Skin moisturizers, lotions, creams, bubble bath, fragrances, body powders, shower gels, body oils, skin serums, nail polish, nail polish remover, nail care preparations. Pretty random assortment of items, but don’t worry, Kim also protected herself with regard to more age-appropriate products, such as: Puppets, puzzles, toy jewelry, toy cameras, toy food, bath toys, baby gyms, playground balls, electronic action toys, baby bouncers, baby changing tables, baby walkers, pillows, mirrors, cushions, picture frames, and playpens. Believe it or not, the list goes on (and on, and on …) from there. It may seem like an odd move, as Kim and Kanye haven’t marketed any products named after their previous three kids (yet). So is Psalm some sort of golden boy who’s being tasked with carrying the family fortune into the next generation? Not necessarily. Kim and Kanye have licensed all of their kids’ names (though not necessarily with regard to quite so many products). As far as we can tell, it’s their way of ensuring the children will be able to cash in on their names when the time comes — as well as a safeguard against anyone else doing so in the meantime. Elsewhere in the book of Psalms, Kris Jenner got all huffy when someone pointed out how weird the name is, and she pointed out that it’s a biblical reference, because apparently, she thinks all us poors are also dumbs: “The inspiration was the Book of Psalms in the Bible,” Jenner told Entertainment Tonight. “I think it’s just a wonderful way to celebrate how they feel. “And he’s such a blessing, so it’s perfect.” Yeah, but maybe a kids’ name should be more about the kid and less about the fact that his dad was on a religious kick at the time he was born. Demi Lovato Also Thinks Bachelorette Suitor Luke Parker is Full of Crap

Demi Lovato just started watching The Bachelorette for the first time. But the singer has already come to the same conclusion about early front-runner Luke Parker as many an experienced viewer of this franchise. Which is to say the following: Lovato thinks star Hannah Brown should run as far away from this suitor as possible. Heck, jump a fence if she needs to. Just do NOT give this man another rose, Demi says. Lovato watched the episode two of The Bachelorette season 15 one day after it originally aired on Monday, May 20 — and felt the need to pass along a very simple message to Brown immediately afterward. “Hannah, honey, do not trust him!!!!!!” she captioned a clip of the dating series on her Instagram Stories. Why does Lovato feel this way? Because Parker dropped the L Bomb on Hannah this week , like a day after meeting her for the first time. After Luke told Hannah that he’s “starting to fall in love” with her, despite it being extremely early in the season, Lovato’s reaction was clear: “Huh?! How?!” she wrote. “I’m uncomfortable. I’m cringing,” Lovato added. She wasn’t alone in feeling this way. Most observers don’t understand how Parker should say such a thing at this point in the show’s run — unless, of course, he’s just spewing a bunch of seemingly romantic crap in order to end up in a Fantasy Suite with Hannah down the line. In other words: He may be on this show for the wrong reasons. Parker spilled his love-themed tea while on stage in front of many other contestants, setting up quite the awkward situation for all involved. But Hannah seemed to buy it. She had previously given Luke her First Impression Rose and she then crowned him Mr. Right after this week’s group date pageant. “He was the person that I had the first real, indescribable connection with… And if anybody was going to say it, I would more so believe Luke out of anybody,” Hannah said on air, adding this past Monday: “[But] at the end of the night, I started questioning it a little bit too.” She also started making out with Parker a lot, though, so she must have come up with her own answers to those questions. Lovato isn’t the only celebrity who is down on Luke Parker . On his podcast last week, former Bachelor anchor Nick Viall laid into the aspiring husband very hard. “I really f-cking hate him ,” Viall said of Parker, mocking the suitor for saying that God spoke to him in the shower a little while back and told him to stop having so much random sex. “He’s a terrible human being,” Viall added, prior to Tweeting: Luke P seems like the type of guy who is capable of being really shitty and then defends his action by saying ‘Only God can judge me.’ Not true Luke, I’m judging you right now. Hannah Brown Confronts Kelly Ripa: Who Won Their Bachelorette Tête-à-Tête?

Kelly Ripa made headlines this week for saying that The Bachelorette is disgusting . And just 24 hours later, who ended up appearing on Ripa’s talk show? The Bachelorette herself! Ripa, of course, was not saying on yesterday’s edition of Live with Kelly and Ryan that Hannah Brown is disgusting. She was saying that the premise of the series itself is a giant insult to women everywhere… which seems like a very obvious point and yet which has come across as controversial for some reason. “I can’t stand the idea of 25 exceptional women fighting over one ordinary fella, in my opinion,” Ripa said on air, referring to The Bachelor really and adding: “You know how I feel, ladies, we are too special to be arguing over a guy.” Ripa also referred to The Bachelorette as “creepy.” In response to these comments, Bachelor/Bachelorette host Chris Harrison and franchise creator Mike Fleiss both WENT OFF on Ripa. “Look out #BachelorNation Kelly Ripa is coming after you and your ‘disgusting’ Monday night habit,” Harrison tweeted, while Fleiss got far more personal. “Easy, Kelly Ripa,” he wrote. “ The Bachelor franchise pays your salary .” Yikes, right? Granted, this franchise makes a ton of money for ABC – but Kelly’s talk show is in syndication. It generates millions per year for the network on its own. This response by Fleiss drew the wrath of another ABC employee who knows a thing or two dozen about raking in cash for the network. “Okay @fleissmeister… that’s some handle bro!” wrote Ellen Pompeo in maybe the greatest opening to a Tweet in history. The Grey’s Anatomy star then added: “Your show does NOT pay @KellyRipa salary.  Also we don’t attack successful women on our network and men certainly cannot take credit for their success.  “Don’t get me started on your show cuz I’m a savage…. #bachelorsoooowhite.” We absolutely love it. But back to Brown and Ripa… As soon as The Bachelorette sat down opposite Ripa on Thursday morning, the women engaged in a friendly debate about the show. “I’m not sure if they told you backstage, I’m not behind this at all,” Ripa told the season 15 lead, joking: “You seem like a lovely girl. You blink twice, I will get you out of here.” Brown, though, was unfazed. “I’m good,” she said with a laugh. “I’m glad to be here.” “I am very against women fighting over a guy,” Ripa continued. “I don’t believe in it. I think it’s, you know, weird and sets us back. But now, you are in the power position. So, take me through that. How does that work?” Brown obliged as follows: “I didn’t really follow the show, wasn’t a big fan. “But, being a part of the show, it’s not women fighting against each other. Really, some of my best friends came from the show and were really supportive. “When you have a group of 30 people together, there’s going to be people who don’t like each other. That’s simple facts.” Brown, of course, earned her lead role this season after competing to be Colton Underwood’s wife on The Bachelor . “Ultimately, it was one of the most empowering things that I ever have done because I had to push myself and grow as an individual,” she continued. “And I did. And I think that’s why I decided that I wanted to be the Bachelorette and wanted that so bad.” It sounds ot us like a network PR person wrote some solid words for Brown to utter in defense of the show, doesn’t it? We’re not entirely sure how a woman can be empowered on a series built around the concept of a man picking and choosing who he wants to keep and who he wants to send home.
