We've certainly seen the toxic mess that was her relationship with Matt Baier. But now that she's currently in the middle of both a criminal case and a custody case stemming from her alleged assault of Andrew Glennon in July, even more things are coming out about her. The Incident So just in case you forgot, Amber was arrested on the morning of July 5th after assaulting boyfriend Andrew Glennon and allegedly chasing him with a machete while he was holding their son, James. 5. Naturally According to Andrew’s story, she was upset because they weren’t able to go see fireworks the day before, and she’d been raging for hours about it. 6. Yikes She beat him with a shoe, which she admitted to doing, and police have photos of bruises and scratches from that, and he even claimed that she attempted suicide by taking a handful of pills that she later threw up after he threatened to call the police. Keke asked: “What were her thoughts about, you know, ‘He’s working with his ex-wife,’ what were your thoughts about telling her that?” What she means by that is whether and when Tarek told Christina, his ex, about Heather. “We were together for a short period of time,” Tarek says of Heather back in July. “And.” he acknowledges. “We got caught with some paparazzi photos on the back of my boat” Tarek emphasizes that this took place “after we had just started dating,” “So I’m like, ‘OK, well, the cat’s out of the bag,'” Tarek explains. He wondered at the time if he should call Christina, who has already remarried to Ant Anstead, to let her know that the news had broken. “‘So, should I tell my ex-wife? Word got out on Wednesday that the owner of Equinox is planning a high-dollar Hamptons fundraiser for the Cheeto-In-Chief himself, Donald Trump. This news lead to outrage online and sparked calls for a boycott of the luxury gym and its associated businesses, SoulCycle and Blink Fitness. Real estate developer Stephen Ross is chairman and majority owner of the Related Companies, which oversees Equinox Fitness. He is set to host a luncheon on Friday, according to the invitation, at which attendees will pay up to $100,000 for a picture with the President and $250,000 to listen in on a roundtable discussion. Imagine the things you could do with $100K…all of them are better than taking a picture with that guy . The Washington Post first reported the news of the fundraiser, sparking some serious online outrage. The news didn’t sit well with a lot of regular folk and celebrities alike who frequent the expensive gym, who don’t want their hundreds of dollars a month used to support Donald Chump. Celebrities like Chrissy Teigen and Billy Eichner were extremely vocal over their thoughts on the matter, with Billy cancelling his membership and Teigen urging her famous friends to do the same. I have been, and will continue to be, an outspoken champion of racial equality, inclusion, diversity, public education and environmental sustainability, and I have and will continue to support leaders on both sides of the aisle to address these challenges.” In addition to that statement, Samantha Bonizzi, a spokesperson for Equinox and SoulCycle, told the publication , “Neither Equinox nor SoulCycle have anything to do with the event later this week and do not support it. As is consistent with our policies, no company profits are used to fund politicians.” She added, “We are committed to all our members and the communities we live in. We believe in tolerance and equality, and will always stay true to those values. And not without reason. She is, after all, a white woman profiting off black culture. She raps with a “blaccent,” which, in her case, is an exaggerated Southern drawl that can’t be found in Australia. When asked about the issues surrounding “speaking black” in a 2013 interview with Complex , Iggy responded, “If you’re mad about it and you’re a black person, then start a rap career and give it a go too.” A few months before that, Iggy faced backlash from fans who’d uncovered some old racist tweets she claimed were jokes. And before that , she had to write an apology for using the phrase “runaway slave-master” in a lyric. If you’ve been reading this waiting to get to the part where Iggy apologizes for all the above—sorry, she’s not sorry. (The most sing-along-able lyric off one of her new songs is “I started to say sorry / But fuck that shit,” so yeah.) But listen, she does get it now. Sort of. She thinks cultural appropriation is subjective, even though she knows that sounds like a fucked-up thing to say. “You could ask one person of the same race, ‘Does this affect you?’ and they will say yes,” she explains. “But another person will say no. They could be from the same place, same everything, but have different perspectives about it.” Then again, can you really say sorry and then keep doing the same shit? (Her question.) “I’m still going to make the same type of music and still be ridiculous and larger than life,” she says. “So I can’t be that fucking sorry about it.” The way she sees it, the reason some people hate her is the same reason a lot of other people love her, so what’s she supposed to do? In fact, she describes her fans as “free thinkers.” As she puts it, “They have to be because if you thought what everybody else thought, you probably wouldn’t be a fan of mine.” Iggy used to feel really defensive about this stuff. “I would hit back and say, ‘What about this that I had to go through?’ because I wanted to talk so much about my experiences of things I didn’t have, and I think it felt like I wasn’t acknowledging that there is white privilege and there is institutionalized racism,” she says. “It seemed to a lot of people like I was living in this bubble or unaware of all these things that people have to experience.” The charitable interpretation is that Iggy understands that the criticism stems from America’s relationship with race and that that history is fucked up. And hey, if that’s how you feel or what you believe, she’s not taking away the fact that it’s real for you. The less charitable one is that she doesn’t care. Either way, she’s going to stop rage-tweeting about it. Welp, what more can we really expect?
Get excited! The Season 10 premiere date for Alaskan Bush People is just days away! The looming premiere made this week a perfect time for Bear Brown to make a very exciting announcement. He has a gorgeous model girlfriend, and he’s excited to introduce her to the world. 31-year-old Bear Brown spoke to People about his girlfriend, Raiven Adams. “We met at my brother Noah’s wedding last year,” Bear reveals. Noah married his now wife, Rhain Alisha, in a small and beautiful ceremony last year. “Raiven was helping her mom, Kassy Michelle,” he shares. “Who was the photographer.” Bear continues: “Her mom has always had a passion for photography.” “And,” he adds. “Raiven helps her out with weddings and other photo shoots from time to time.” It sounds like, when the two of them met, sparks just flew. “We just agreed we both felt a connection,” Bear characterizes. That sounds wonderful! And then he starts getting into why he adores his girlfriend. He explains: “I would definitely say what I like most about Raiven would simply be Raiven herself,” “She is truly the full package,” Bear expresses. “She is like, beauty in every sense of the word,” Bear gushes about his stunning girlfriend. “Inside and out.” “And she is the most awesome and extreme woman I’ve ever met!” he adds. It’s been about four months since Jinger Duggar moved to LA , and it seems the city is beginning to leave its mark on the most rebellious Duggar daughter. Fashion has always been one of Jinger’s preferred modes of expression — she is, after all, the first Duggar woman of her generation to wear pants in public — and it seems she’s keeping the tradition alive by splurging on expensive threads. Several fans have noted that the always-stylish Jinger seems to be forever finding new fashion inspirations on the West Coast. And this week, she made what many consider to be her boldest fashion statement since she first donned a pair of Levi’s in violation of the strict Duggar dress code . Jinger posted the photo below earlier this week, and it’s attracted attention for two distinct reasons. For starters, this is the pic that clued fans into the fact that Jana is currently visiting Jinger in LA . (Jana posted a similar coffee-gram with the same tiled floor in the background, and fans instantly pieced it together because Duggar obsessives are a different breed.) But the biggest commotion had to do with the fact Jinger is rocking some seriously stylish shoes. There’s been no confirmation with regard to the designer, but fans seem convinced that Jinge is sporting a pair of Guccis. “Those look like Gucci shoes. So yeah, priiiiceey! is right. But Jinger might suffer consequences for her the purchase that go well beyond her monthly credit card statement. As you probably know, the Duggars are advocates for ” modest attire .” Typically, this means women covering just about every inch of their skin aside from their faces and hands. But the family is also not big on lavish displays of wealth. It’s an ironic stance, considering Jim Bob has devoted his life to the acquisition of wealth, but that’s how it is. Jim Bob makes the rules and his daughters follow them — and one of the rules at the moment is “dress like you’re poor.” There have already been rumors that Jim Bob and Michelle have disowned Jinger , though to be fair, those reports seem to be based on nothing other than the fact that they have yet to visit her in LA. It may not seem like much, but considering how much time and money the Duggars have to devote to their family, it’s a pretty big snub. She’s reached impressive heights of popularity (over one million Instagram followers!) without ever really being involved in a controversy. Really, think about it… it’s true. You need to search far and wide and try really hard to track down any sort of scandalous situation centered on the Little People, Big World cast member. One time a few trolls tried to mom-shame Tori because they thought her son wasn’t wearing a life jacket out on the water — but they were quickly proven wrong . Now, however, some folks think they’ve done it. They think they’ve tracked it down. They think they’ve come across a photo that is legitimately damaging to the reality, from which they think she’ll never recover. Indeed, they think they’ve caught TORI ROLOFF DRINKING WHILE PREGNANT. And they think this because they only took a quick glance at the Instagram photo below: Here’s the thing, however: Tori may be expecting. And she may be sucking down a beverage in this snapshot. But there’s no alcohol in it. In late June, Roloff was forced to delete an Instgram post in which she wrote about her parenting philopshy after some of followers took issue with her thoughts on raising kids and spoiling them. “If you raise your kids, you get to spoil your grandkids,” the post began. “If you spoil your kids, you’ll end up raising your grandkids.” She continued at the time: “Just a thought. I really think my generation has made it more important to be their kids’ best friend and not help guide and support their kids with boundaries and structure. “I know we’re all doing the best we can, but disciplining kiddos is essential to becoming a good citizen, not a taboo. Spoil with love.” Yes, for someone as sweet and innocent as Tori Roloff, this qualified as polarizing. Tori and husband Zach confirmed in mid-May that son Jackson was on the verge of getting a sibling. They also confirmed the gender of this sibling and the time around which she is expected to arrive. “We are so excited to announce that Jackson is going to be a big brother! We can not wait to meet our sweet baby girl!” they said this spring. We’ve since learned that the baby is due around Thanksgiving. There’s no need to go into detail, because there’s literally a new headline everyday about how Trump and his republican supporters are ruining this country with their bare hands. The 2020 election is underway, and although there are many Democratic candidates that could potentially be a good fit, no one has really blown me away enough to feel like “Yup, That’s her/him. That’s my next POTUS.” So like most millennials who’ve been brought up in the DIY era, I decided to come up with a cabinet of my own — celebrity style. Because hey — if a bigoted, reality star and businessman can run a country (barely) with zero experience, there’s a slew of celebs who would be a much better fit for each position in the Cabinet.
