The X Factor Winner: Who Came Out on Top?

The X Factor Season 3, mercifully, has come to an end. And the finale represented everything strange and uneven about the competition, lowlighted by an odd montage to departing judge Demi Lovato (an admitted substance abuser) that featured her often taking swigs from a cup and defying Simon Cowell. The punchline? Demi drinks Annoying Juice. Lovato’s reaction, as caught on camera in a candid moment? “That’s f-cked up,” she said to Kelly Rowland. But… oh… right: there was also a winner to crown. Carlito Olivero was eliminated first, leaving it down to Jeff Gutt and the adorable twosome Alex & Sierra. And the champion is… ALEX & SIERRA!!! “Thanks for not making fun of my weird faces all the time,” Sierra said, shocked, soon after hearing the news. So, hey, at least the show got the winners right. Or did it? Do you agree with the outcome? Did Alex & Sierra deserve to win The X Factor?   YES! No, it should have been Jeff! No, it should have been Carlito! View Poll »

Lilit Avagyan and Reggie Bush Welcome Baby Girl!

Sorry, Kim Kardashian . Your ex beat you to parenthood. Sources confirm that Reggie Bush is the proud new father of a baby girl born, as Lilit Avagyan gave birth to the couple’s first child Monday. She weighed in at 8 pounds, 9 ounces. These two have been together for about 18 months and announced Avagyan’s expecting state in October. Bush, of course, dated Kardashian for many years before she married Kris Humphries and then got knocked up by Kanye West . He signed a four-year deal with the Detroit Lions this offseason and appears to have moved fully on from the reality star. Except that Avagyan does sort of look like her. Either way, hey: congratulations Reggie and Lilit!

Rory Bushfield Wins Splash!

Rory Bushfield has won the first (and presumably last) season of ABC’s Splash. Spoiler alert? Hope you didn’t have that DVR’d and waiting for you tonight. The three finalists – Bushfield, Nicole Eggert and Drake Bell – went all in Tuesday. After the first round of dives left Bell eliminated by the judges’ scores, Eggert and Bushfield dove one final time for the win, decided by an audience vote. It was Bushfield, a Canadian-born skiing champion, who emerged victorious. An impressive dive by the 29-year-old, featuring two and a half front flips and entering the water head first, was enough to seal the deal over Eggert. Not as impressive as Katherine Webb bikini photos , but close.

Ashley Hebert: The Next Bachelorette?

She’s still alive as one of three finalists on this season of The Bachelor. But has Ashley Hebert already been tapped to star on The Bachelorette this summer? According to Reality Steve’s Twitter . For those unfamiliar with Steve, he is the WikiLeaks of Bachelor spoilers . No one knows how this stuff gets out, but it ends up on his blog and he is good. How on Earth was a contestant who isn’t even eliminated yet named the star of the sequel? We have no idea, and we obviously can’t confirm this now. But odds are still pretty high that Ashley Hebert , the perky dental student and pride of small town Madawaska, Maine, will be the next Bachelorette . If true, it’s not shocking she didn’t win The Bachelor . Brad has stronger connections with Chantal O’Brien (the rumored winner) and Emily Maynard. What is surprising is that Emily, with stunning looks and a touching story that seemed destined to land her the starring role, is not The Bachelorette . Just the same, Ash is no slouch herself. She’s down-to-earth, smart, fun and cute as they come. What do you think of the move? Vote below … Would Ashley make a good Bachelorette?
