But child support and federal taxes are two of the worst kinds of debt, and the couple’s financial issues may soon become serious legal woes. “All their debts, which just keep growing and growing, have put them so deep in the hole that it seems there may be no way out,” a source close to the couple tells Star magazine. “But what’s truly scary is how much they owe the government. Having their money actually seized shows just how serious their problems are. Tori’s running out of options, and the walls are closing in.” The tabloid spoke with a New York criminal prosecutor who’s prosecuted numerous cases in which wealthy debotrs wind up incriminating themselves with fraudulent claims: “Should Spelling continue to default on paying back the back loan in full, plus interest, the courts have discretion on punishments in situations like that,” attorney Brooke Camhi tells Star . “While not the likely outcome, jail time certainly would be an option afforded to the court. At the moment this is not a criminal case. But if there is any kind of fraud happening, Tori could do time…” Yes, it seems Tori is not under immediate threat of criminal prosecution, and she’ll likely find a way to keep out of court. (We really can’t overstate how wealthy Tori’s mother is.) Her husband’s situation isn’t quite so encouraging. It seems like every time you turn around, Tori Spelling is facing another lawsuit for not paying someone an enormous amount of money. And, well, that’s because it’s true. For the past several months, Tori and her husband, Dean McDermott, have been hit with one lawsuit after another, all because they are absolutely incapable of being responsible with money. We know that they’re in trouble with the IRS , since they reportedly haven’t paid taxes in years. Last July, we learned that they owed the government over $700,000 in taxes, just for 2014. In addition to their IRS issues, Tori and Dean have been sued by their credit card company , American Express. Twice. Back in October, Tori was ordered to pay her overdue balance of nearly $38,000, and then in November, she was sued for an additional $87,000. On top of all that, Dean owes his ex-wife, Mary Jo Eustace, thousands of dollars in unpaid child support. He owed her so much money that he nearly went to jail over the case. Oh, and they also have five children, including a brand new baby they welcomed in March. Sounds like things can’t get any worse, right? If you think that, you obviously don’t have enough faith in Tori Spelling’s ability to fail. Now, in addition to the tax stuff, the credit card lawsuits, and the serious issue with the child support, Tori and Dean owe their bank $220,000. What a nightmare. A terrifying but completely preventable nightmare. Tori and Dean have been dealing with City National Bank for a while now, since they neglected to pay off a $400,000 loan from 2010. They still owe $185,714 on the loan, as well as around $3,000 extra in interest and late charges. The bank also sued for an additional $17,149, which is the amount Tori overdrew back in September. Remember back in college when you overdrew your account by a few dollars and freaked because of the overdraft fees? These are obviously lessons that Tori has never learned. Tori and Dean were required to come to court on May 22nd to respond to the lawsuit, but they didn’t, and that’s how the bank got their $220,000 default judgement . It’s hard to calculate exactly how much debt these two are in right now, but it’s probably safe to say that it’s a whole, whole lot. Those storage units hardly seem worth it now, huh, Tori?
Beverly Hills, 90210 went off the air 17 years ago. Which makes us feel VERY old. But try telling that to Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth. Two of the drama’s original cast members, these two women continue to hold a grudge against a former colleague as if the series just ended yesterday. Last Friday evening, Garth and Spelling appeared in a RuPaul’s Drag Race sketch based on the smash hit drama for their best known. In the segment, Garth’s character was critiquing a contestant played by Thiessen’s 90210 vixen, Valerie Malone, when Garth refused to even say Thiessen’s name. “As Ti … how do you say it?” Garth joked, at which point Spelling jumped in replied: “Just say, ‘That which we don’t speak of.’” The actresses then laughed, as Garth agreed: “Yes, we know her as ‘That which we don’t speak of.’” Wow. Who knew Thiessen was akin to Voldermort in the eyes of these actresses? Thiessen came on board 90210 as the replacement for Shannen Doherty, after that controversial actress departed the series as Brenda Walsh in 1994. Back in 2012, Thiessen told Howard Stern that she and Garth “had a falling out and we grew apart,” adding that she was the one who was “hurt” and not wanting to delve into any more details. When it came to Spelling, however, Thiessen explained that she was very close to Tori’s her first husband, Charlie Shanian. When the couple split in 2005, it basically ruined her friendship with her ex-co-star forever. “It was a hard situation for everybody. We were close with Charlie [Shanian] … my best friend was Charlie’s roommate. It was hard,” Thiessen told Stern in the same interview. In the many, many years since Beverly Hills, 90210 went off the air, Spelling has mostly made news for pumping out numerous kids and going through a multitude of marital problems with second husband Dean McDermott. She may even be broke . But Spelling has remained close to Garth, even starring for one season with her on some show titled “Mystery Girls.” Thiessen, meanwhile, has enjoyed the most professional success of these three actresses. She starred for five seasons as Elizabeth Burke on the USA Network his White Collar and who could ever forget her turn as Wilhelmina “Billie” Chambers on the former Fox drama Fast Lane. Okay, fair point: most people have likely forgotten about it. We’re yet to hear from Thiessen’s rep in regard to any sort of response to Spelling and Garth’s latest diss. But we somehow doubt she’ll comment. She’s likely moved far past this feud. Indeed, the actress and husband Dean McDermott have confirmed to the world that they are parents for the FIFTH time, with Spelling have just given birth to a baby boy. And his name is… … Beau Dean McDermott! Born at 1:48 p.m. on Thursday, the child weighed in at 5 lbs., 12 oz. and measured 18.5 inches long. “We are over the moon in love with baby Beau,” Spelling told People soon after becoming a mother once again. She added: “He is a true blessing and his brothers and sisters were overjoyed to meet him! We are all truly grateful for our big beautiful and healthy family.” Spelling and McDermott’s latest addition joins a quarter of siblings. They are: Finn, 4 Hattie, 5 Stella, 8 Liam, 9 Moreover, McDermott has an 18-year-old son named Jack from his previous marriage. Along with the above statement, Spelling shared the following previous photo on Twitter, writing as a caption: “We are so excited to announce the birth of the newest member of the McDermott family! This time around, the viral photos were snapped at some kind of winter-themed “prom” that the artists didn’t merely attend… but won Prom King and Queen at! Kind of weird, no?
