Taylor Swift’s Mound of the Day

Taylor Swift wears 1950s style bathing suits, it’s one of her trademarks, she even sings about them, because she’s a self involved narcissistic cunt that was created by you, every last one of you, who buys into her bullshit….even though SHE WORE A BIKINI THE OTHER DAY The nice thing about one-piece bathing suits, is not that they may make asses look fucking weird, It’s that when you’re long torso like Taylor Swift, shit jacks up in your pussy so hard, you’re forced to show the world your massive pubic bone mound, something that is erotic to some of us who like cumming on skinny girl mound…but scary to others who see nothing but a mini muff gut… Either way, you can see it from a distance…and I guess these are the trials and tribulations of being skinny…and this whole thing has been fascinating enough for me to want to kill myself. Roger Ebert Says This NYC Blizzard Short Film Should Win an Oscar

We’ve gotten some nifty time-lapse videos of the East Coast blizzard, but in terms of capturing the beauty, hardship and sheer scope of the weather, Jamie Stuart’s snow-covered, New-York-shot ode to the Soviet montage is the end-all. Roger Ebert is already calling for the film to receive an Academy Award because of its quality and technical profiency as well as its “role as homage.” Indeed, Stuart’s short Idiot with a Tripod does an admirable job paying tribute to Dziga Vertov’s 1929 silent classic Man With a Movie Camera while still capturing the trials and tribulations that people (and dogs) endured at the hands of the snowstorm.

Why Did Natalie Portman, LeAnn Rimes, More Celebs Get Engaged?

Relationship expert Amy Laurent sizes up recent string of engagements, including Reese Witherspoon, Jessica Simpson and Lily Allen. By Kara Warner Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied Photo: Pascal Le Segretain/Getty Images With the number of newly engaged and/or married celebrity couples recently announced, it is obvious that something is in the air. Within the last two months alone, there have been eight celeb engagements and one marriage. The engagements thus far: Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth, Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied , LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian , Ginnifer Goodwin and Joey Kern , Lily Allen and Sam Cooper , Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson , Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo and Tony Romo and Candice Crawford . And the marriage: Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky . So why the sudden flurry of committed coupling? According to relationship expert and professional matchmaker Amy Laurent, we can chalk it all up to the phenomenon known as “mistletoe syndrome.” “Around the holidays people get more in the mood, more romantic,” Laurent explained to MTV News of the term coined by her friend, artist Annika Connor. “Those are the times when people start re-evaluating their relationships. [It occurs] in November, December, January, and we see a lot of marriages, a lot of engagements,” she said. “And then there is withdrawal after the syndrome wears off, come Valentine’s Day, February, March.” Regarding the growing list of engagements, Laurent said she feels confident that all the couples in question have taken the plunge for the right reasons and not from the effects of mistletoe syndrome. “The thing I really like about Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo, they’ve been dating for about four years. They’ve stayed strong,” she said. “There was a brief breakup in 2009, but they got back together shortly thereafter, and it didn’t really last long. The signs are all there that they can last through the trials and tribulations. …They are going to survive the test of time. Nick has been married before. It’s not something he’s jumping into. She’s 30, he’s 37; it seems like a strong relationship.” For Simpson and Johnson, Laurent said she is definitely rooting for them. “She’s really come into her own,” Laurent said, citing Simpson’s prior relationships and periods of time in which she was single as the proper learning experiences she needed to be ready for the right one. “That’s why I think it’s all about timing. I think she learned from those experiences,” Laurent said. “Now I feel like she’s in the right place for it at the right time. Again, it’s all about timing. She’s definitely someone I’m rooting for.” Laurent also had a rosy prediction for Portman and Millepied. “I have so much respect for her. She is in such a good space right now with her personal life and her professional life,” she said. “If you look at her history, she’s been able to balance her life and succeed in Hollywood without getting wrapped up and becoming a Lindsay Lohan. She’s been able to successfully keep down to earth and stay somewhat private. She’s made good decisions all along, I don’t think this is going to be any different.” Finally, with regard to Rimes and Cibrian, Laurent said that the fact that the couple has survived the tabloid storm of scrutiny (they were criticized when they started dating after allegedly cheating on their former spouses) should bode well for them. “The fact that they’ve come this far to me says that there is a true relationship, a true bond,” Laurent said. “And there is something to be said about how they’ve overcome the trials that they’ve been through,” she added. “I think it’s something real, I think they have a good chance.” What do you think of all these newly engaged celebs? MTV’s ’16 And Pregnant’ Credited For Decline In Teen Pregnancy Rates

Eighty-two percent of teens say the hit series helps them understand the trials of parenthood, according to a new report. By James Dinh Chelsea on “16 and Pregnant” From the chaotic family dynamics to the aftermath of childbirth, MTV’s hit show “16 and Pregnant” has illustrated that teen parenthood is not always an easy journey. These candid glimpses inside the trials of young parents apparently are making a mark on youth across America, as the series is being credited with helping to spur a decrease in teen pregnancy. According to a new government study, U.S. teen birthrates have plunged dramatically in 2009 after a five percent increase from 2005 to 2007. And a report by National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy recognizes “16 and Pregnant,” specifying that 82 percent of teenagers credit the hit show in helping them understand the challenges that come with unexpected parenthood. Bill Albert, a spokesman for the National Campaign, believes that “16 and Pregnant” helps broaden insight into teen pregnancy. “Entertainment media is one of the nation’s favorite punching bags, but we have to acknowledge that when we’re talking about teen pregnancies media can be and often is a force for good, and that is particularly true when it comes to shows like ’16 and Pregnant.’ ” While “16 and Pregnant” has received some media criticism for its apparent glamorization of its subject, Albert stands by the findings of the survey. “Some critics say these shows glamorize teen pregnancy, but our survey data shows that’s not the case,” he points out. “That not only do they not glamorize it, but teens who have seen it suggest it makes the realities of teen parenthood more real to them.” Teen pregnancy leveled off in 2008, but rates declined by six percent the following year — a record low, according to a study from Centers for Disease Prevention and Control released Tuesday (December 21). The decrease cut across all ethnicities and races, with Hispanic teen pregnancy percentages dropping by 10 percent. Not only does Albert think “16 and Pregnant” is a useful showcase for teens, but the spokesperson also believes the program can aide parents in educating their children about the reality of unexpected pregnancy. “What you see on TV, as a parent, isn’t always exactly what you’d want your teen to know or say or see, but it does deflect the conversation from, ‘What are you doing?’ to more of an abstract, and that can be a good way to start conversations,” he explains. “The fact is, this is not your parents’ sex talk, not a one-time white-knuckle conversation, but this should be an 18-year conversation that you’re having with your kids.” Do you think “16 and Pregnant” has helped with the decline in teen pregnancy?
