Kansas City Adams Mark Worker Files Complaint After Supervisor “Lynched” Slave Doll In Entrance To Her Office This is just crazy the isht people think they can get away with these days… According to KSHB Kansas City reports : Jaysyn Craddock is a front desk assistant at the Adam’s Mark Hotel. He explained to 41 Action News that he was working on July 21, when his supervisor hung the black doll from the noose and asked him to come and look at it. “So she looked at me and said, ‘Look what I hung up,’ in a giggling way and she asked me, ‘Does this offend you?’ She didn’t say ‘I’m sorry,’ she said ‘Does this offend you?’ And I didn’t say anything. I was just so upset that I went back to helping people and she left it up until the end of the night,” Craddock said. Later, Craddock and some co-workers complained to the front desk manager. “It’s embarrassing. It’s humiliating. Like I felt like that no actions were going to be taken, because our front desk manager spoke to all of us individually and she asked us if we wanted to speak to the person who hung up the doll and we all said yes. She said something to us individually; but she said after you speak with my supervisor, I don’t want to hear anything about it,” Craddock added. Adams Mark Hotel later fired the supervisor. A statement from the hotel said the supervisor “hung a slave doll using a plastic bag as a noose and displayed the doll in an employee common area.” A photo of the doll has been circulating on social media sites since July 22, according to the attorney. Craddock’s attorneys have filed a complaint with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. If the EEOC gives them the green light, Craddock’s attorneys will be able to sue the Adam’s Mark Hotel for harassment. The hotel has since released the following statement: “This isolated incident is completely inconsistent with the values and culture of the Adam’s Mark Hotel Kansas City. This disturbing occurrence took place late Tuesday evening, July 21st. When brought to the attention of management the following day, an investigation was initiated. Immediately following the investigation, the employee was terminated, Friday, July 24th, prior to the start of their next shift. Via NY Daily News reports : A woman tried to swipe a stack of frozen dinners from a Texas Walmart by threatening a store clerk with HIV, police said. Dallas police arrested 25-year-old Diamond Lawrence Thursday after she allegedly attacked an employee in a bid to give him the virus and make off with $11 worth of stolen food. Lawrence made it outside the store with her tiny plunder when an employee asked her to come back, NBC Dallas-Fort Worth reported. That’s when she told the worker she had HIV and said “I can infect whomever I please,” police said. She struck the worker and scratched his neck, attempting to draw blood and expose him to HIV, police said. Then, she told him, “You’re welcome.” Medics said the worker had no bloodily fluid exchange with Lawrence, meaning he’s safe from the virus. While Wal-Mart doesn’t prosecute for stealing such a small amount of goods, Lawrence was arrested on two outstanding warrants: one for public intoxication and a second for an invalid driver’s license. She’s being held in the Dallas County Jail on $1,500 bail. If she’s stealing food, it seems likely she was hungry and in need — BUT that’s no excuse for trying to infect someone else with HIV.
