In fact, he’s quite aggressive about his lack of caring, which kinda makes it seem like he cares. Here’s what Kit Harington told Esquire: “How I feel about the show right now is quite defiant. I think no matter what anyone thinks about this season — and I don’t mean to sound mean about critics here — but whatever critic spends half an hour writing about this season and makes their [negative] judgement on it, in my head they can go f–k themselves. ‘Cause I know how much work was put into this,” He went on: “I know how much people cared about this. I know how much pressure people put on themselves and I know how many sleepless nights working or otherwise people had on this show,” the London native said. “Because they cared about it so much. Because they cared about the characters. Because they cared about the story. Because they cared about not letting people down.” He continued: “Now if people feel let down by it, I don’t give a f–k, because everyone tried their hardest. That’s how I feel. In the end, no one’s bigger fans of the show than we are, and we’re kind of doing it for ourselves. That’s all we could do, really. Two days after welcoming their first child into the world , Meghan Markle and Prince Harry debuted the still-unnamed little boy at St. George’s Hall in Windsor Castle (where they had their royal wedding reception). The famous couple had previously announced it would not pose with the infant outside of the hospital immediately after birth, somewhat bucking Royal tradition. But the small wait has now been made worthwhile because this tiny guy is just such a cutie patootie. And his parents look so very happy! Hannah Brown's season of The Bachelorette begins in just over a week, but we already know so many The Bachelorette Spoilers . As the countdown to Season 15 continues, ABC has released a new teaser trailer. The video shows off tears, fears, some sidebutt, and Hannah confronting one suitor over having a girlfriend . “You know that Bachelorette drama you can't wait for?” the voiceover asks as the teaser trailer begins. Offscreen, an unseen man's voice yells: “Hannah!” Hannah Brown herself looks around, clearly wondering where her suitor is at that moment. “Well Monday, May 13, it all starts happening,” the voiceover teases. Then we see Hannah walk into a room and, very authoritatively, tell one man: “We need to talk!” On night one, the teaser reveals, she takes aside one of her suitors for a very serious talk. “You have a girlfriend,” Hannah accuses. With editing and these brief takes, it's hard to say what is in context and what is not. But we already knew that two of Hannah's suitors were sent home right away . It looks like she's giving Matt D the boot on camera. We see a lot of reaction shots with zero context. The trailer also shows Hannah in a steamy makeout session at one point. In another clip, she's sobbing onto the shoulder of an unidentiifed man. Also, she admonishes a group of suitors to “stop,” though we have no way of knowing the topic at hand. Another suitor cautions others to “don't ever objectify a woman.” Speaking of objectification, it looks like the guys play some rugby … while wearing kilts. This is The Bachelorette , you you know that there has to be some fanservice for the viewers at home as well as eye candy for Hannah. Even in the teaser, you see a lot of thigh and some sidebutt. So enjoy that. It looks like people may have had a little bit too much fun, as one moment shows an ambulance arrive, presumably to cart someone away. Don't put yourself in the hospital for reality television or impress a woman. And don't put somebody else in the hospital for those reasons, either. “I need to know it's real,” Hannah says at another moment. We also hear Hannah refer to someone or something as “freaking psycho.” Speaking of bonkers things, Hannah says one hell of a line. “I want somebody to fight for me,” she says. “That's what I deserve.” She may have missed her calling as a warlord's daughter, watching men fight to the death for her amusement. Hannah Brown, visually speaking, is this interesting blend of Taylor Swift and Melissa Ordway. In terms of personality, she's hard to pin down. She's … well, she's not nuts , but she has some eccentric moments. Producers wouldn't have picked her if they didn't think that she could be an entertaining leading lady. On May 13, we'll all find out if they were right to hand off this role to Hannah. For now, the countdown to the premiere continues.
You’d be hard-pressed to name an episode of a scripted television series that was more hotly anticipated than Game of Thrones ‘ “The Long Night” with its 85-minute depiction of the Battle of Winterfell . With expectations so absurdly high, we suppose it was inevitable that some fans would find themselves disappointed after the dust settled. Viewers complained that the low lighting combined with the frequent jump cuts made it difficult to follow the action. Others griped about the writing, arguing that more top-tier characters should have been snuffed out, both for the sake of believability (they were battling a massive army of zombies, after all) and for the emotional payoff (the previous episode seemed to set the stage for several tearjerker send-offs). (Sure, Theon and Jorah bit the dust, but was anyone harboring a strong emotional attachment to either character?) While those critiques are certainly valid, defenders of the episode pointed out that viewers had never previously witnessed anything of its kind. Many reminded the haters that it’s a freakin’ miracle what this show has been able to accomplish over the course of its eight seasons, and in just three weeks’ time, we’ll never again have the pleasure of dissecting and arguing over a new episode of GoT. Needless to say, there’s unrest in the kingdom. And there’s only one person who could possibly unite these warring factions at this crucial time. We’re talking of course, about the Mother of Dragons, the Breaker of Chains, the Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea herself — Emilia Clarke. Clarke appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live Thursday night, and she issued an unexpected proclamation to GoT obsessives: Apparently, nothing we’ve seen up to this point can prepare us for what lies ahead in episode five. “Episode five is bigger,” Clarke said in response to Kimmel’s queries about the Battle of Winterfell. “Episode five is, I mean, four and five and six, they’re all insane, but like… Find the biggest TV you can.” Obviously, actors always hype their upcoming projects on talk shows, but we know better than to question the Khaleesi. If Emilia says the best is yet to come, we’re inclined to believe her. Of course, raising expectations means setting the stage for further butthurt disappointment, but this show is well accustomed to dividing its fanbase.
Luann de Lesseps may have a problem with alcohol. But she definitely has a problem following the law. About a year and a half after the Real Housewife of New York was arrested for getting wasted and kicking a police officer , evidence has surfaced that prove two things: Luann is still drinking. And she’s violating her probation while doing so. Before we delve into Luann’s latest misdeed, let’s take a look back, shall we? On December 23, 2017, the long-time Bravo star was arrested in Florida for acting very drunk and very disorderly in a Palm Beach Hotel room. According to multiple reports at the time, she screamed at officers that she would kill them prior to being taken into custody and charged with four felonies: Battery on a law enforcement officer; resisting arrest with violence; two counts of corruption by threat. Luann was in the aforementioned city for the first time since getting married there to Tom D’Agostino Jr., from whom she got divorced just seven months later. And she blamed that entire situation for the way she acted, saying in a subsequent statement: I want to offer my most sincere apologies to anyone that I might have offended with my behavior. This was my first time in Palm Beach since my wedding and being here brought up buried emotions. I am committed to a transformative and hopeful 2018. Somehow (read: because she’s rich), Luann struck a plea deal last August, pleaded guilty to a lesser [misdemeanor] count of battery, as well as the original trespassing and disorderly intoxication charge. As part of this plea deal, she agreed not to drink alcohol for a year. And she has failed to live up to this end of her bargain. According to newly-released court documents, Luann reported a relapse to a Florida supervising officer on April 23, 2019. After failing a court-mandated test, the reality star “dmitted to drinking 2 glasses of mimosas after a performance she had in Chicago,” the legal paper reads. Once these results were in, de Lesseps was told she could “immediately enroll in outpatient treatment” to essentially make up for her drinking-related probation violation… but she “declined due to her touring schedule.” Luann was also “given the option to be fitted with alcohol ankle monitoring device,” but she said the device would be too “intrusive” while performing. Elsewhere, The Florida Department of Corrections issued a statement that made it clear Luann has not been fulfilling her Alcoholics Anonymous requirements, either. Reads this statement: This is the second notification of other state violation that has been submitted. The subject has failed to provide sufficient documentation of completed AA meetings which she was ordered to complete 2 AA meetings per week. At the time of this writing [April 24], only 5 have been received. It appears to affiant that the subject is not serious about her sobriety or the orders of this Court. As stated on previous notification, the subject has used her unlimited travel as a reason to be noncompliant with her conditions of supervision. Back in February, we also confirmed that Luann has not been performing her obligatory community service . It’s almost like she’s a wealthy person who thinks she is entitled to act in any way she wants, consequence free. The court has not made a decision on how to proceed with her case, but as of now, her probation is scheduled to be over on August 28. And Luann swears she is taking this whole thing seriously, lying completely to Page Six in a statement that reads as follows: I take my sobriety very seriously and like many in my situation, it is a daily struggle. I remain committed to doing whatever it takes to continue living a healthy sober lifestyle.
As you’ve likely heard by now, former Real Housewives of New Jersey star Joe Giudice is being held in an ICE detention center , where he currently awaits deportation to Italy. Giudice’s appeal was denied last week, which means it’s looking more likely than ever that he’ll be shipped off to the country where he was born, but knows very little about. Sure, Juicy Joe committed tax fraud , and it’s never a good idea to stiff the government of a country where you’re a semi-lawful visitor. Still, many believed the father of four and husband of Teresa Giudice After all, one doesn’t often see well-connected white guys who have lived in this country for most of their lives being booted out of the U.S., but it seems the judge in Joe’s case decided to adhere to the letter of the law. There’s not much that can save the 46-year-old now — outside of a presidential pardon, that is. Yes, a phone call from OG tri-state reality TV mess Donald John Trump is about the only thing that can rescue Joe from being shipped off to the Mediterranean. Seemingly aware that desperate times call for desperate measures, Joe’s 18-year-old daughter Gia Giudice has posted a petition on Change.org in which she asks readers for their electronic signature in hopes of capturing the president’s attention. Gia describes her father as “a businessman, a husband, father to four young women all under the age of 19, son, brother, uncle and friend to many” and notes that he was “found guilty of NON Violent offense.s” “He knows nothing of Italian culture, laws, societal norms, he has no immediate family and will not be able to secure work in this foreign land,” Gia writes. “My father is not a danger to society, he is a warm loving man and I beg you sign our petition to give my father a second chance at being part of our lives and giving back to the community we live in once a again.” In case it’s unclear to any of her fans, Gia outlines exactly what’s at stake: “My father is there for us in every possible way a father could be. He has always been our handyman, our confidont, our cheerleader, our challenger and most importantly our protector,” she writes. “This would rob us of my father screaming from the stands at our graduations, meeting our future husbands for the first time, of walking us down the aisle, of being there when his grandchildren come into the world.” Gia concludes with a direct plea to President Trump: “We request that our President, Donald J Trump, review our petition and pardon my father to relieve him of this life sentence the courts are bestowing on him,” she concludes. “Yes in Italy he will no longer be incarcerated but will he ever be free if kept from his family and be able to be a productive member of society?” This is not the first time that Gia has pled her father’s case , and it’s likely her last chance. It’s been close to three months since Kristoff St. John died at the age of 52 . But his loss is still being felt by those in the entertainment industry, most notably those who worked with the actor closely. With a multiple-episode arc having kicked off yesterday in honor of St. John, a number of The Young and the Restless stars have taken to social media to once again pay tribute to their late friend. This tribute began with many individuals on the series learning about the passing of Neil Winters, the character St. John inhabited for decades. This news was first learned by his son, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), who was seen crying as he came down the stairs. Hamilton later revealed the death to his sister, Lili Winters (Christel Khalil), although fans were unable to hear the conversation due to somber music that started to play. As of this writing, viewers have not yet been informed just how Neil died on the series. On Thursday, however, former veteran cast member Shemar Moore will stop by in order to mourn his character’s close pal and his very good friend in real life, teasing the appearance on Twitter as follows: Our @youngandrestlesscbs farewell to my BROTHER and BEST FRIEND Kristoff St. John begins Thursday, April 25… It looks and sounds very much as if Neil’s funeral will air tomorrow. It will be attended by Moore and other alums of The Young and the Restless, such as Christel Khalil and Eileen Davidson. Following St. John’s passing on February 3, an awful development caused by hypertrophic heart disease due to alcohol abuse , Moore was among the cast members and fans who openly mourned the actor on Twitter and/or Instagram. “I lost my brother yesterday,” Moore said at the time , continuing as follows: “I never had a brother, but you were my brother. You showed me the way. You were my mentor, you were my inspiration. You showed me what true talent was. “You showed me what humility was. I love you. I hate this. I love you, but I’m going to celebrate all your good.” Speaking to People Magazine that same month, Moore said that St. John was “truly the closest thing to a brother and a brother’s love and a brother’s mentorship that I’ve ever known.” He added: “He didn’t have to embrace me the way he did. When I came in and was trying to find my way and he saw how scared I was, he saw how nervous I was. “He saw my six pack and all that, but he just saw me and he embraced me like a brother. If he hadn’t embraced me, I would have never got my sure footing in the beginning days.” Elsewhere this week, along similar lines, Daniel Goddard shared a picture of himself with several of his co-stars from early March, when they attended the funeral for St. John. In the caption, the actor asked followers to share their favorite Neil storyline from the show — or to post stories of meeting St. John in anticipation of The Young and the Restless episodes to come. The responses were overwhelming. And beautiful. “He was an amazing man. Getting to meet him at the hospital was an honor and a privilege,” one fan wrote. “He congratulated me for being a young surgeon and told me how proud he was of me, and that meant the world to me.” St. John lost his son to suicide in 2014 and talked openly about the pain, something many other fans referenced in their own tributes to the star. “I admire his openness when discussing the loss of his son,” one follower explained. “To allow strangers access to that pain in the hope of helping others. Ever since the nationwide college admissions scandal news broke a few weeks ago, a majority of the attention paid to this illegal scheme has focused on Lori Loughlin. This has likely been the case for two reasons: She is best known for playing a whole character on a family sitcom; and the daughter she illegally helped get into college totally sucks as a human being . But another very well-known name has also been at the center of this controversy — and now Felicity Huffman has taken over the spotlight for an afternoon. The veteran actress pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit mail fraud as well as honest services mail fraud on Monday. Huffman was one of 13 defendents to plead guilty to these crimes in a courtroom, as the former Desperate Housewives star has confessed to paying Rick Singer $15,000 to rig her daughter’s SAT test. The teenager ended up with twice the amount of time as normal to take this exam, due to the bribery, while a proctor corrected her answers afterward. In the end, Sofia scored a 1420 on the SATs, 400 points higher than she had scored on the PSAT. On March 12, Huffman was arrested and released on a $250,000 bond; she was charged at the time with one count of conspiracy to commit mail fraud and, according to the official complaint. Her husband, actor William H. Macy was mentioned in the indictment as having agreed to the scam, but never charged with a crime. “I am pleading guilty to the charge brought against me by the United States Attorney’s Office,” Huffman said in a statement on Monday. She continued: “I am in full acceptance of my guilt, and with deep regret and shame over what I have done, I accept full responsibility for my actions and will accept the consequences that stem from those actions. “I am ashamed of the pain I have caused my daughter, my family, my friends, my colleagues and the educational community. “My daughter knew absolutely nothing about my actions, and in my misguided and profoundly wrong way, I have betrayed her. “This transgression toward her and the public I will carry for the rest of my life. My desire to help my daughter is no excuse to break the law or engage in dishonesty.” In a case such as this, the prosecutor recommends a sentence to the judge, while the latter has the final say on what sort of punishment is apt for the crime at hand. As of this writing, it’s unknown whether or not Huffman will face any jail time. She had been facing a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison, three years of supervised release and fines — but it’s impossible to believe she receives anything close to that sentence in the end. Huffman portrayed Lynette Scavo in Desperate Housewives for every episode of that ABC drama. She has also enjoyed extended roles in American Crime and Get Shorty. The actress has also been nominated for an Academy Award. Attention will now turn to Loughlin, who is accused of bribing officials at the University of Southern California with $500,000 in order to pretend her kids were high school crew team members. This lie prompted the two daughters to have their admissions standards lowered because the school considered them to be athletic recruits. Neither Loughlin nor her arrested husband have spoken out yet on these allegations, choosing to keep a mostly low profile over the past month or so. Both Huffman and Loughlin, it’s worth noting, have also been sued for $500 billion .
Bristol Palin has taken a break from slamming her ex-husband in order to send a message of support to everyone in Alaska. On Friday morning, a 7.2 magnitude earthquake his Palin’s native state of Alaska, damaging highways, shaking buildings and focusing its power about eight miles north of Anchorage, the most populous city in the region. Governor Bill Walker issued a disaster declaration in response, while the Anchorage Police Department said the following in an official statement: “There is major infrastructure damage across Anchorage. Many homes and buildings are damaged. Many roads and bridges are closed.” As of this writing, no deaths have been reported. Thank goodness. Bristol, of course, hails from Wasilla, Alaska. However, she lives in Austin, Texas and was not around her friends, family members or loved ones up north when this natural diaster struck. But Palin says she was with them in spirit. And they are very much on her mind at the moment. “Just sick I’m not in Alaska to help my family and friends with the aftermath of the massive earthquake they had this morning, sending all the prayers to everyone affected,” she wrote on social media shortly after news of the incident went public. The Palin family resident is about 44 miles northeast of Anchorage and the compound was damaged during the earthquake. Such damage was confirmed by Bristol’s famous mother, former Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin. “Our family is intact – house is not… I imagine that’s the case for many, many others,” the former Alaska Governor wrote via Twitter, adding: “So thankful to be safe; praying for our state following the earthquake.” Elsewhere, Bristol’s younger sister, Willow, was left in shock and in pretty bad shape after the sort of frightening experience you must deal with first hand to fully comprehend. “Our house is a mess but our family is safe, very shook up! That was the scariest couple minutes of my life,” she wrote to followers. Bristol was out of the spotlight for many years, but has now joined the cast of Teen Mom OG on MTV. Not only had she joined it, but Palin has been at the forefront of nearly every episode, as viewers have watched her marriage to Dakota Meyer fall apart before their very eyes. It’s been pretty ugly, to be honest. “When you get rid of the cancer in your life, you can go live,” Meyer actually said recently about splitting from Bristol. Ouch, right?
