Ireland Baldwin Shows Off Bikini Body, New Tattoo

Alec Baldwin could learn a lesson from his daughter. During the same week in which the actor blew up at yet another reporter, possibly referring to him by a homophobic epithet , Ireland Baldwin sent a subtle message to her famous dad: Chill, man. Life is good. The 18-year old has posted two new photos to Instagram, the first depicting her in a yellow bikini and also showing off a new tattoo on her left arm; and the second of her just relaxing on the beach. “A happy and healthy morning with my love @slatertrout || #thankful,” Ireland captioned the pics, referencing boyfriend Slater Trout. This isn’t the first time we’ve been treated to a couple Ireland Baldwin bikini photos . And we’re guessing we speak for men around the world when we say: Let’s hope it isn’t the last time, either.

Jessica Brown Findlay Expresses Topless Scene Regret

Former Downton Abbey star Jessica Brown Findlay said in an interview that she regrets going topless in her motion picture debut in 2011’s Albatross . In the movie, her character pulls up her shirt to buy cigarettes. “To be honest, Albatross was naivete and not knowing that I could say no,” she tells the British magazine Radio Times . ” I had no idea what was going to happen.” “I thought I was going to be shot from behind.” The 23-year-old actress appeared nude again in the V Series Labyrinth , but admits that may have been her last time she goes nude (for work, anyway). “In Labyrinth, it is a very fleeting moment that we shot in one take, but I did find it very odd being naked … but actually, it’s not something I would do again.” Brown Findlay, who surprised fans when she left the hit PBS series after Downton Abbey Season 3 , also explained her decision to exit that TV show: “I was unsure about signing away another year,” she said. “Leaving terrified me, and that’s what made me want to. Being afraid and going into the unknown excites me.” “What scared me more was to keep going and then one day discover it was all I could do and wish that I had pushed myself even more.” “I’d prefer to fail and fall flat on my face.”

Manga Fan/Would-Be Tetsuo Toby Kebbell Is Totally Not Getting That Akira Gig Now

Wrath of the Titans actor Toby Kebbell ( Control , RocknRolla ) was once up for the part of Tetsuo in Warner Bros.’ live-action adaptation of Katsuhiro Otomo’s cyberpunk manga and anime Akira — but with the project stalled, he unleashed some real talk on the direction the studio intended on taking the big-budget franchise. Among WB’s plans: They wanted to adapt the anime and not the richer source material of the mangas, and planned on taking certain liberties with key character relationships to boot. “I was like, ‘The point is that Tetsuo can’t comprehend how someone who isn’t his brother could love him so much — and that’s where his wrath and his rage come from. Do you not see that? Why have you made them brothers? What the fuck are you doing?’” [ IFC via Collider ]

VIDEO: Well, Cosmopolis Looks Pretty Much Amazing [NSFW]

Move over, Prometheus : David Cronenberg and Robert Pattinson are here with a 30-second foreign teaser for Cosmopolis , their adaptation of the Don DeLillo novel about a young billionaire’s dark, demented and all-around catastrophic 24-hour Manhattan odyssey. And it looks amazing. In fairness, it’s basically only 30 NSFW seconds of hyper-edited visuals, but what visuals: Times Square overrun with dinosaurs, Pattinson’s Eric Packer shooting a hole through his hand, limousine trysts and pee breaks, and all the quintessentially Cronenbergian glimpses of the perverse in the quotidian. Niftier still is the dialogue introducing the teaser, clipped in DeLillo’s own trademark staccato, hinting at a spiritual fidelity to the flawed but sui generis source material. It just looks and feels right . We’ll see how the other 100 minutes or so can compare later this spring, when Cosmopolis presumably debuts (and lands an American distributor) at Cannes.
