Rihanna Confirms Jay-Z Talk That Talk Cameo

‘Yes sir! Jigga man is on the title track,’ Rihanna tweets Tuesday. By Jocelyn Vena Rihanna and Jay-Z Photo: Larry Busacca/ Getty Images It’s been a while since Jay-Z and Rihanna have collaborated, and the release of her new album Talk That Talk on November 21 seems like as good a time as any. Norwegian production team Stargate spilled the beans that Hova will appear on Ri’s next album. In an interview posted on Complex.com , Stargate member Tor Erik Hermansen described the track as a “midtempo banger with hard drums, dirty synths, and Rihanna and Jay at their best. “We are very happy with the song, and Jay’s verse is crazy — same with Rihanna’s part,” he told the mag. Rihanna took to Twitter on Tuesday (November 8) to confirm that her mentor will appear on the song “Talk That Talk”: “Yes sir! Jigga man is on the title track #TTT.” Rihanna and Jay have memorably collaborated in the past on her mega-hit “Umbrella” and his Blueprint 3 track “Run This Town.” The collabo news comes just days after Rihanna released the Talk That Talk track list . Fourteen songs made the final cut; 11 will be featured on the standard version, and the additional three on the deluxe version. For those wondering just what the TTT era of Rihanna will look and sound like, her “We Found Love” video director, Melina Matsoukas , told us it will match vibe of that clip. “I think it sets up definitely the imagery for the album, and it’s in line with what they’re doing,” she said. “So that’s good, and I’m sure there’s plenty more, hopefully.” What are you expecting from the next Rihanna/Jay-Z collabo? Star Wars Blu-Ray Trailer: Released!

Great news: Star Wars is finally coming to Blu-Ray next month. Bad news: Episode I and effing Jar Jar Binks will be included in the release, and odds are George Lucas will not have removed some of the additional scenes he added to the early films to their detriment. Han shot first, George. Han shot first. Anyway, the Blu-Ray set does look awesome. Here’s the trailer: Star Wars Blu-Ray Trailer Over 40 hours of bonus features (such as deleted scenes) will be included, according to Movie Fanatic , along with the option to purchase only Episodes IV-VI. You know, if you really can’t stand Binks. Or an entire film about Darth Vader being a cute kid once. Or Hayden Christensen delivering seriously awful dialogue. We’re not bitter or anything.

Getting It Together: Whitney Decides To Stay In Rehab Beyond First 30 Days

Glad to see Nippy has finally decided to rid her self of her demons for real. TMZ reports she has decided to extend her out-patient rehab situation beyond the 30 days she originally signed up for. Whitney Houston is voluntarily seeking additional treatment for drug and alcohol addiction … TMZ has learned — after completing a 30-day out-patient rehab program earlier this week. Sources close to Whitney wouldn’t elaborate on what the additional treatment entails — but we’re told the singer has hired a round-the-clock life coach to help keep her on track. We’re told Whitney personally decided to seek out treatment over a month ago as part of a longstanding recovery process — entering the out-patient program completely on her own accord. As one source put it, “She really wants it this time.” So far, no word from Whitney’s rep. Good! Lord knows Bobbi Kristina needs a roll model.

Robert Pattinson Dishes On Awkward Love Scenes

‘Reese [Witherspoon] had this wig on, and literally, I was wiping my nose on her wig,’ RPattz says of scene in ‘Water for Elephants.’ By Eric Ditzian, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Robert Pattinson Photo: MTV News We’ve heard Robert Pattinson talk about his love scenes before. “Lot of my crack in it!” he once laughed to us about what we can expect in the upcoming drama ” Bel Ami .” And we’ve even seen photographic evidence of his honeymoon boom-boom with Kristen Stewart in December’s first installment of ” Breaking Dawn .” But when it comes to Pattinson’s amorous encounters onscreen, his fans can never get enough. It’s no surprise then that one Twitter user submitted a question during “MTV First: Robert Pattinson” asking if the actor felt awkward doing love scenes with “Water for Elephants” co-star Reese Witherspoon. Awkward, no. Sick? Well, yes. “The love scene in this, I was doing it when I had a really bad cold,” Pattinson explained. “I’m not generally that awkward doing stuff apart from when I’ve got my belly coming out. But my nose is running all over the place and it was in one of the additional photography scenes, and Reese had this wig on, and literally, I was wiping my nose on her wig.” “We were doing this really passionate love scene,” he added with a giggle. “It was really stupid. I guess I’m not that awkward anymore.” The key with any love scene, Pattinson went on to make clear, is that it has to make sense within the context of the story. You can’t just get freaky in front of the camera because someone thinks it’ll boost ticket sales. “It always depends. You’ve got to really know what you’re doing. If it’s just a sort of arbitrary love scene, it’d be quite difficult,” he said. And what of his scene with Stewart in “Breaking Dawn,” the one we got an early, feather-filled glimpse of in January? Rob hesitated before saying simply, “The one on ‘Breaking Dawn’ is pretty funny.” Check out everything we’ve got on ” Water for Elephants .” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com .
