The actress, who was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, reportedly checked into an L.A. based facility back in January after suffering a drug relapse mostly due to the pressure of being back in the public eye and auditioning in Hollywood again. According to TMZ , [Bynes] is getting treatment for drug addiction along with mental health issues, according to our sources, who also say she’s still getting a ton of support from her parents. Amanda remains under a conservatorship started by her parents, but it’s been run by a mental health professional since 2014. Bynes will be receiving help for mental health issues as when as drug addiction. Prayers up for the star.

For those who celebrate and even for many who do not, Christmas is a time to be with your family. The Duggars place a lot of importance on being with family and on their religious beliefs, so this is a major holiday for them. So why, fans wonder, did Jinger and her precious baby spend the most wonderful time of the year as far from her family as she could get? When we say “her family,” of course, we mean from the Duggars. Jinger Duggar did not spend Christmas with Jim Bob, Michelle, or any of her siblings or niblings. She was, however, with husband Jeremy Vuolo and their baby, Felicity. This small but growing family didn’t spend the holidays by themselves, either. Instead, Jinger and Jeremy brought Felicity up north to see Jeremy’s family. In a series of glimpses in Instagram photos and in Instagram Stories, Jinger and Jeremy revealed their family adventure. They traveled from Laredo, Texas all the way to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Needless to say, that is not a short trip. And having a baby with you would make it seem even longer. The good news is that it sounds like Felicity slept for a good portion of the plane ride. Jinger took in and appreciated the rural landscape on the way to the Vuolo grandparents’ house. But the long trip was worth the wait. Jinger captioned this photo: “Grandma time!” Felicity is in the arms of her paternal grandmother. (Quick note, and maybe I’m alone in this, but Mrs. Vuolo does not look old enough to be a grandmother) Jinger and Jeremy didn’t try to hide that they shared the best photos, and worked overtime to get baby Felicity to smile. That’s very normal for any parents. Felicity was also enamored with another member of the family. Here we see Felicity in the arms of her father. Beside them stands Auntie Val — Jeremy’s sister. Little Felicity is young enough that she probably won’t consciously remember much, if any, of this visit. But that does not mean that this is not important. Every new, positive experience broadens a child’s mind and helps a baby’s developing cognition. And these are Felicity’s family — people she’ll know for all of her life. It’s important for her to start developing a relationship with them now, even if it’s only to hear the sound of their voice. Felicity will have no shortage of opportunities to bond with her ever-growing wealth of Duggar cousins. But as much as fans may think of Jinger as a Duggar daughter, Felicity is half Vuolo. Spending time with Jeremy’s family makes a lot of sense. We imagine that Jim Bob and Michelle don’t mind, either. After all, Jim Bob is the one who believes that his daughters are essentially property to be given away to worthy suitors. Earlier this month, Pete Davidson threatened suicide in an Instagram post that left the comic’s family, friends, and fans deeply concerned. Davidson’s SNL sketches were scrapped that week in order to allow the 25-year-old the time and space necessary to focus on his mental health. The show is currently on hiatus until mid-January, and production sources stated that SNL’s top brass — including creator and executive producer Lorne Michaels — encouraged Davidson to seek treatment during that time. Davidson has checked into treatment before, and he’s fully aware of the severity of his mental health issues, so it was widely assumed he would do exactly that. Now, however, new photos indicate that Davidson either left rehab after just a few days, or never checked in at all. Pete deleted his Instagram following his recent suicide threat, but he popped up on other people’s pages over the holidays. The photo above shows Pete smoking what appears to be a blunt with rapper Machine Gun Kelly. Davidson and MGK recently filmed a movie together, and production sources indicate that they quickly became friends. According to Radar Online, Pate attended an MGK concert in Ohio, then partied with the rapper afterward. From there, Davidson traveled to his home in Red Bank, New Jersey, where he spent the holiday with family and friends. A photo viewed by Radar shows Davidson smoking, but insiders claim it’s just a clove cigarette. Those closest to the comic say he appeared to be in good spirits on Christmas Day, but mood swings are said to be a symptom of his condition, and those who struggle with depression and anxiety are often able to mask their ailment from others. “i really don’t want to be on this earth anymore,” Davidson wrote on Instagram before he deleted his account. “i’m doing my best to stay here for you but i actually don’t know how much longer i can last. all i’ve ever tried to do was help people. just remember i told you so,” he added. Back in September, Alaskan Bush People star Matt Brown checked himself into rehab after a family intervention. Now there is some very promising news that is sure to please the entire Brown family. Matt is out of rehab! RadarOnline reports that Matt Brown is freshly out of rehab, which he had entered to get a handle on his drinking. “Matt voluntarily checked himself out of rehab in late October,” reveals an insider close to the Brown family. “And,” the source shares. “He is continuing outpatient treatment at a nearby facility.” That is very good to know — sometimes, a relapse right after leaving rehab is a risk. Outpatient treatments can help provide continued support. “He is doing really good right now,” the insider says. “And,” the source elaborates. “He is committed to his sobriety.” “His family is very proud of him,” the insider adds. That is no surprise. Sobriety can be difficult to achieve. The Brown family loves and supports Matt and they know how difficult it can be to overcome a substance abuse issue. There’s more to leaving rehab than the support of your family — though that, of course, is important. “Matt has been attending recovery meetings,” the source says. The insider says that Matt has used these peer groups “and has been working with a sober coach.” We previously reported that Matt would hire a sober coach , even when he was still in rehab. A sobriety coach can provide one-on-one assistance that a support group often cannot. The source says that Matt is doing all of this “as well as going to therapy and counseling to battle his addictions.” It’s great that Matt is recovering and is on a path to avoid a relapse. The reason that he (once again) struggled with alcohol abuse was, as is usually the case, self-medication. It was explained that he started drinking as a “way to deal with his mother Ami’s cancer diagnosis.” There were times last year when everyone — including the Brown family — believed that Ami would die from lung cancer. The odds were stacked against her, but she defied all expectations. But the stress of her cancer battle — and the health scares that followed — exacted a toll on her loved ones, including Matt. As we previously reported, Matt Brown was feeling “ready to leave” after only a few weeks of rehab. “Matt thinks that he is ready to leave after 30 days and everyone is urging him to stay in,” a worried source revealed at the time. “He says that he is almost ready and can handle this on his own now,” that insider added. According to reports, he wisely remained until he had completed his 30-day stint. He was also sure to line up all of these safeguards so that he could continue to maintain his health. This was Matt’s second time having to fight an uphill battle to regain his sobriety. The first time was in 2016. At that time, he became more withdrawn and realized that his behavior and drinking were caught in a downward spiral. In August, Ben Affleck entered rehab for the third time , following an intervention by his estranged wife, Jennifer Garner, and a sobriety coach. He has now completed his inpatient treatment. Now, he is finally breaking his silence for the first time since beginning his latest stint in rehab. Taking to Instagram on Thursday, Ben Affleck penned a serious message for his fans and followers. “This week,” he begins. “I completed a 40-day stay at a treatment center for alcohol addiction.” “And,” he continues, he will “remain in outpatient care.” That is good. Staying in rehab helps with sobering up and getitng support. The real test is when you return to the real world. “The support I have received from my family, colleagues, and fans means more to me than I can say,” Affleck writes. “It’s given me the strength and support,” he says, when he needed it most. He writes about how empowering it is “to speak about my illness with others.” Sometimes, the best way that you can help yourself is by doing your best to help others. “Battling any addiction is a lifelong and difficult struggle,” he affirms. If a single stint in rehab could simply cure an addiction, well, the world would be a different place. “Because of that,” Affleck explains. “No one is never really in or out of treatment.” Sobriety becomes part of your life on a permanent basis. You can never let down your guard and relax, unfortunately. “It is a full-time commitment,” he adds. What matters to him is that he remain motivated and keep his eye on the prize. “I am fighting for myself and my family,” Affleck writes. “So many people have reached out on social media and spoken about their own journeys with addiction,” he continues. Sharing stories of personal struggles, even when those tales include setbacks, and build a powerful sense of commonality and community. “To those people,” Affleck writes. “I want to say thank you.” He credits them with lending him emotional support when he was at his most vulnerable. “Your strength is inspiring and supporting me in ways I didn’t think was possible,” he says. “It helps,” Affleck admits. “To know I am not alone.” Addiction is a serious problem for millions of Americans — and for countless millions more. He is far from alone. “As I’ve had to remind myself, if you have a problem, getting help is a sign of courage,” he continues. It is important, he notes, that asking for help is perceived as wise and brave, “not weakness or failure.” He is absolutely right. If society shames people for seeking help, no one can ever receive treatment. It’s a real relief that Affleck is taking this seriously now that he has completed his stint in rehab . People who struggle with addiciton can sometimes convince themselves that it’s in the past, only to relapse the moment that their lives experience setbacks. No one wants that for Ben Affleck. As you may have heard, Ben Affleck checked into rehab for the third time last month. And this was no mere sobriety tune-up either. The decision to seek treatment came on the heels of an epic bender and an intervention staged by Jennifer Garner . You know the situation is bad when your estranged wife you seems to want nothing to do with you feels the need to swoop in and save your life. Anyone who’s seen the photos of an exasperated Jen driving Ben to rehab (after a quick stop at Jack In the Box, of course) knows that this is not a woman who was enjoying the view from atop her high horse. She acted on behalf of her children because she really thought their dad might die. Anyway, you might assume that under such dire circumstances, Ben would treat his recovery as a matter of life and death and devote all of his energy to the hard work of getting sober. [Affleck’s] is a good mix of mental and physical work. As previously previewed, The Real Housewives of New York City are getting ready to set sail on the boat trip from Hell . But People Magazine now confirms that Luann de Lesseps is getting ready for a very different, far more important kind of trip: She is checking back into rehab. The 53-year-old will be seeking help for the second time after attending an alcohol treatment program last year, following her arrest for some very drunken and ugly behavior in Florida. Bethenny Frankel actually confirmed the development to People. She told the publication that Luann considers the problem so serious that she must begin addressing it immediately and will therefore miss the upcoming Season10 reunion special. “This weekend, Luann was surrounded by her girlfriends and decided – with their support – that in light of recent circumstances, it is the healthiest choice for her not to attend Tuesday’s reunion taping so that she can continue in her healing process,” Frankel explains , adding: “Luann is now surrounded by a core group of people who truly have her best interests at heart and who are working to make sure she gets the help she needs.” Concluded Frankel: “Bravo has been very supportive of Luann during this time. “It’s a brave and honest decision by her, and everyone is rallying around her and wants the best for her.” The long-time reality star was arrested just before Christmas for allegedly kicking a police officer . Reportedly very drunk at the time of the incident, Luann reacted to a confrontation with cops in a Florida hotel room by screaming that she would “kill” them all and by violently attacking at least one officer, according to reports. She was booked on the charges of battery on a law enforcement officer; resisting arrest with violence; corruption by threat. Just days later, Luann checked into rehab for the first time . “After the events of last Saturday night in Palm Beach, I am truly embarrassed,” said de Lesseps at the time. “I have decided to seek professional guidance and will be voluntarily checking into an alcohol treatment center. I intend to turn this unfortunate incident into a positive life changing event. “Once again, I sincerely apologize for my actions. Catelynn Lowell has been having a really, really tough time lately. If you keep up with Teen Mom even the tiniest bit, you know that much. Catelynn’s struggles began many, many years ago, technically, with an alcoholic mother and a somewhat absent father, and things only got worse for her when she got pregnant as a teenager and placed her daughter for adoption. She made the best choice for the child, but as we’ve seen over the years, it’s been an extremely difficult thing for her to carry. But that’s all background stuff — things got extra bad last fall, when she and husband Tyler Baltierra got pregnant with their third child only to have a miscarriage . The miscarriage was documented on Teen Mom OG, and it was tough to watch, to say the least. She and Tyler both said that they felt like they were grieving a child, and while he was clearly having trouble dealing with his emotions, Catelynn actually began contemplating suicide . Fortunately she was able to to realize how serious things were before she acted on any of those thoughts, and she checked into a treatment center in Arizona, the same one she visited in 2016 for postpartum depression. That time, she checked out early so she could spend Christmas with her family, but she quickly realized that she wasn’t ready to be home yet. She checked back in to complete her six-week program, then went home just before New Year’s. A few weeks later, she shocked fans when she announced that she’d be returning for yet another six weeks of treatment , this time to get her medications sorted and to start working through some childhood trauma. When we saw it all play out on the show, the situation was even worse than we thought, because it was clear Tyler didn’t fully support her decision to leave their daughter for another long, out-of-state stay. The topic of divorce came up more than once then. But off she went again, and in March, she came back home for good. Since then, it’s seemed like she’s been doing a lot better. She’s been staying off of Twitter for the past couple of months, something that was reccommended for her during rehab, and she’s been spending a lot of time bonding with her daughter. However, yesterday she made a new post on Instagram that’s got a whole, whole lot of people concerned. The image she shared is a quote, one that reads “I’m scared of the future. I’m scared of the past. I’m nervous at the moment.” For her caption, she wrote “I’m so scared right now… but I know that everything that is supposed to happen will happen… whatever my destiny is will be…. I got this….. I’m strong….” And that doesn’t sound too great. It actually sounds a lot like the kinds of things she said immediately before checking into rehab last time — remember, on the show, we heard her mantra of “I’m beautiful, I’m smart, I’m strong” ? Judging by the comments on her post, her followers are pretty sure that one of two things is happening. One, she’s checking into treatment again. Or two, she’s pregnant. Honestly, both options are pretty believable. She’s struggled with her mental health for several years now, and so it wouldn’t be too surprising if at any point she felt the need to do some intensive work on that front. And it wouldn’t be too far-fetched to believe that she’s pregnant, since she and Tyler have been open about how they still plan on expanding their family . It would also make sense that she’d be scared if she was pregnant, considering how traumatizing each of her three pregnancies were for her.
