3 Florida Teens Arrested For Abusing Bunny Rabbit On Snapchat The Florida-Times Union (of course), is reporting that some mean azz b!tc#es have been popped for abusing a poor lil’ bunny rabbit and posting the footage to Snapchat. These lil heffas are the WORST. Three teenage girls were arrested on animal cruelty charges Saturday after a video surfaced on social media showing a bunny being thrown repeatedly against a wall, according to the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office. The video, which was posted to Snapchat, shows the rabbit held by the throat then thrown against the walls of a room several times. The teens can be heard giggling and laughing each time it hits. A loud thump also is heard as the rabbit strikes the wall. At least one teenager also appears to kick the bunny as it tries to escape, according to the video posted on a Nassau County community forum Facebook page. An x-ray showed the rabbit has a leg fracture but otherwise is safe and sound. However, it won’t be available for adoption for awhile. It will be receiving additional veterinary care, Nassau County Animal Services said in a post on its Facebook page. The teens, age 13 and 14, were arrested after the video was posted prompting several complaints to the Sheriff’s Office, which subsequently located a house where the injured rabbit was found and rescued. Elderly Florida Woman Accused Of Animal Cruelty Granny is about that life . Via MailOnline : A Florida woman is accused of killing two dogs that ate her beloved cat Poopy. Two days ago, witnesses told Orange County Animal Services that Wanda Griffin chased the dogs, ran over one of them with her minivan, and beat both of them with a bat. Click Orlando reports that one of the dogs died on the scene and the other was so badly injured that animal services were moved to euthanize it. Witnesses say that a group of boys on bikes were walking their dogs when they crossed path’s with Wanda Griffin’s cat who was sitting atop her mini van. Neighbors say that the boys took the cat named Poopy off the top of the car and threw it towards their dogs while yelling, ‘sic ‘em.’ The dogs voraciously devoured Poopy and that’s when Griffin allegedly snapped. Neighbor Doris Barnes said she saw the whole debacle unravel before her eyes. ‘She said, “I’m going to kill you because you killed my cat.” And the dog was just lying there,’ said Barnes. Wanda Griffin denied all allegations against her. When Animal Control investigated the scene they saw a bat inside of Griffin’s van but it did not have any blood on it. The van also didn’t show any signs of an accident. Griffin was not arrested but she was given a citation. Florida Man Kills Dog – Chops Up Body For Family To Eat SMH at this story and how crazy this muhfugga looks! According to WTSP : A Tampa man is facing animal cruelty charges after he allegedly killed his family’s pet dog, and then cut the animal up for future meals. Investigators say 25-year-old Thomas Elliot Huggins strangled the young pit bull mix pup on Thursday morning, and then chopped the animal into quarters and put the remains in the freezer. A family member called police after learning what happened. Arriving officers say they found the dog’s ribs cooked in a pot on the stove, and the animal’s head was in the garbage. An investigator with Hillsborough Animal Services tells 10 News that Huggins “expertly” cut the animal apart, and this may not be the first time he’s done this. According to his arrest report, Huggins learned how to clean an animal from his mother and had done it in the past with squirrels and rabbits. Family members told police that Huggins’ behavior had been getting progressively worse over the past several years. His mother claims the problems began when Huggins was “smoking some weed” five years earlier and “something happened.” She’s unsure if there was something in the marijuana but that afterward Huggins “flipped out” and he hadn’t been the same since. Huggins was taken into custody and charged for the inhumane and cruel killing of the dog, and is currently in jail on $2,000 bond. He had to be smoking more than “some weed” to go crazy like that. Officials at a Riverside County animal shelter say a 10-month old poodle/terrier named Banjo is okay today after a 78-year old man tied the puppy to railroad tracks on April 2. Fortunately, an engineer pulled the emergency brakes in time and saved the animal. Union Pacific Special Agent Sal Pina responded to the scene and referred to it as “one of the worst things I’ve seen.” He untied the dog and detained the man, who said he had no other option because his family didn’t want Banjo anymore. “After an extensive interview, Agent Pina said that he could not pursue an animal-cruelty case because the man appeared to be confused, or senile and didn’t fully understand what he had done,” John Welsh of the Riverside County Department of Animal Services said in a statement.

Cat Found Injured And Tortured Inside Riverside Dryer December 3, 2010 4:23 PM Officer Chris Peck holds an abused and tortured cat found in Riverside. (credit: rivcocha.org.) RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA (CBS) — Officials are looking for the person, or persons, responsible for abusing and torturing a 4-year-old cat found Friday with her face duct taped. The cat, who apparently is also a recent mom, was found inside a clothes dryer at a Riverside apartment complex. The feline was discovered early this morning in a laundry room at a building in the 3000 block of Watkins Drive, near UC Riverside, according to Riverside County Department of Animal Services spokesman John Welsh. He said a resident opened a dryer and found the gray tabby inside with duct tape over part of her face. It’s unclear whether the cat was in the dryer while it was running, but the feline’s injuries indicated she was, said Animal Services Sgt. Jason Sanders. “This is an act of a coward,” Sanders said. “Who would do something like this to a defenseless animal?” The cat suffered a punctured left eye and fractured tooth, according to Welsh. Animal Services veterinary technician Eileen Sanders said the tabby is able to drink and eat. “I can’t imagine what this poor thing must have felt going through that ordeal,” Sanders said. “Whoever did this is going to move up and harm other animals, or maybe people.” She feared the mommy cat’s kittens were starving — “if they haven’t already been tortured.” Welsh said Animal Services personnel looked around the apartment complex, but couldn’t find any trace of the kitties. He said a kitten was found in the area a few hours later. Animal control officers weren’t sure whether it belonged to the injured feline, but when the two were introduced, “the little kitty cuddled right up.” Animal control officers encouraged anyone who might be able to help with the investigation to call (951) 358-7387. The cat is not available for adoption yet because of her condition.
